James got me to LAX in under an hour and 30 minutes from Ojai. he was so kind and calm and professional after I had a nightmare travel situation start the morning. I would recommend him over Lyft or uber any day. read more

James was very personable and engaging. Excellent driver. Beautiful black SUV; it felt like a limo. Arrived on time for pickup and delivered me to my destination with nary a hitch. 5 star experience! read more

Saved me after the Uber I reserved the night before didn't show and there were no Ubers nearby. The owner scooped me up in 10 minutes and got me to lax on time. And the conversation was very pleasant along the way!! Super clean and excellent driving. read more

The worst and most embarrassing unprofessional taxi I ever experienced. I ordered an Uber which didn't show up to Ojai. He got recommended from a hotel. He started asking me very embarrassing questions and couldn't care less about his driving. On top of that exorbitant $300 ride. A pure garbage guy. read more

not a good service I call. They say, "Can you wait 15 to 20 minutes? There are to cabs very nearby to tou right now." I say yes. 30 minutes I call again. The dispatch gives me some drivers number who never answers. 45 minutes pass. 50 minutes. No cab. Zero Stars is more appropriate here. I called another day. Same. read more

I am not using this service, but wanted to provide a review of my experience. I wanted to make a reservation to go to LAX in a couple days. They actually answer their phone and the man on the line was extremely professional. The only problem is that their website says they have a flat rate to go to LAX. I was told on the phone it was not a flat rate and it would be around $230, but it depended on wait time, traffic, etc. from just off the 101 in Camarillo. This is twice or more than twice other shuttles or car services and on par with a limo or exec car service, which I don't need. I just need a dependable and on time ride to the airport. Please fix your website if you're not really offering flat rates! read more

With uber and lyft being completely unreliable these days, it is nice to have a good 'ol fashion taxi! Skyline is that taxi service!! I called from mid-Ventura and requested a ride to Oxnard. Person who answered was very polite and professional, and advised me of ETA, which was less then 10 minutes. Our driver was a young lady. Arrived quickly and had us on our way. Vehicle is clean and all COVID precautions are taken. Enjoyable ride, and safe. Thank you for your reliability! Customer service in the local taxi industry is still here! Highly recommend. They also provide airport fares. read more

James was extremely easy to communicate with to plan our pick up in advance. He also arrived on time even though the pick up was in a remote area with spotty reception. We are in town for a wedding; while traveling with our one year old and trying to adjust to the time change, James was so patient and professional and made us feel at ease! Highly recommend! read more

James just gave me a very pleasant, quick ride from Amtrak Station to VCMC Emergency Room. Found out while on the train that my friend had been brought in. Would definitely use them again. Like when I need to catch train back later. read more

So impressed by Skyline taxi. I was able to reserve a ride in advance. James was very communicative and sent a confirmation text before arrival. Great driving, very professional. I will definitely use them again. read more

Had a great experience with our driver. He was kind, courteous, and a great driver. We had an hour long ride and were treated very well throughout our ride. Would definitely recommend Skyline to anyone looking for a reliable and safe ride! read more

How do I love thee? Arrival BEFORE arranged time. Stimulating conversation. Clean vehicle. Helpful with my luggage. Learned the new thing I need to learn each day. Finally found another person who has done a Workaway! I love thee most of all. My airport service of choice. Should be yours as well. read more

Skyline Taxi offered a good and bad experience for us...here's the skinny. Our driver was nice, but he often got lost on our trip. We asked him to pick us up at a restaurant and he went to some other place. When he arrived at the wrong location, he called us to say he was waiting outside. He was not...because he was at the wrong place. It's cool...we just had to wait a little longer as he left the wrong location and made it over to us. When he finally made it over to us, he apologized and said he would comp our trip, but we insisted on paying him for the ride. It was an honest mistake. We asked him for some recommendations of fun bars to visit on a Friday night. He dropped us off at Pirates Grub and Grog. It was an entertaining experience and for that area, a good recommendation. There isn't much else going on. Hahaha... We really liked the driver, so we called him back to pick us up from the bar and take us to our hotel. He picked us up and drove pretty fast, which was great, but he drove us past the hotel, because he forgot where he was going. Needless to say, he didn't stop the meter as he drove us back to where we were supposed to go. That trip turned out to cost more than it should have because he drove past the hotel, so that kind of sucked. At least he was a nice guy and the cab smelled pretty clean. I would rate our experience as okay...he was a nice guy and he drove fast, but he got lost twice in one night. read more

Holy moly! This is the best taxi service ever. Deb's my go to and she's always on point. Reliable, comfortable, you name it.

Needing a last minute pickup in the early morning the driver came to my rescue and I was able to meet a deadline. Clean vehicle, felt safe and comfortable. I called again for the return drive home and the same courtesy was given. Thank you Jean and James for your care. I will call again. read more

This is a driver-owned cab company with a mission statement that is simply to be better than regular taxis. And forget about Uber, these are professionally trained drivers that can out-drive most anyone. They are also some of the most caring individuals I have ever met in my entire life. Very professional, from a family with military roots and values, you can feel safe in a Skyline cab, to say the least. They will always have clean interiors, are very articulate, and experienced, with decades of local knowledge. This is part of thier business model, to know where you are, how to best get where you want to go, with a level of heightened professionalism. read more

If yelp had 10 stars, I'd give skyline 20!!!! Ditched using lyft & much happier knowing I'll be picked up ON TIME by a reliable and safe driver. I've called at 10AM,10PM, 3PM, - no matter what time, I've been met with courtesy & professionalism. Last time, i was even able to request my driver.!!!!! Hi Debbie!!!!!!!! These folks know about 'customer service'..... Before finding Skyline Taxi, I had made a reservation a day ahead of time, to be picked up for a ride to the train station with another cab company. I was clear about the time of the train arrival and even though I only live a few minutes away, I wanted to have enough lead time (half hour) to get there because many of the roads would be closed for a road race being held at the same time. Sure enough....the reserved cab was nearly 20 minutes late. About 15 minutes into the wait I decided to call them. Their answering machine announced that all cabs were out of the area, and to call Skyline instead, which I did. Skyline told me that a cab would be here in enough time to get me to the station, but now we were down to 15 minutes before boarding...assuming the train was not early. But then.... Lo and Behold the first reserved taxi showed up only 3 minutes before Skyline (which I later learned from their voice mail while looking for me). Feeling terrible about bumping the second cab company, I had no choice but to take the first one. We made it to the station a minute or two before the train arrived....but not without drama. The driver was planning a dangerous illegal turn onto seaward from a one way exit off of Channel Dr. ....and planning a back entrance approach to the railroad station. ABOUT SKYLINE.... I called them from the train to get a mailing address, so that I could send them the missed fare. I truly felt terrible about bumping them. The gentleman I spoke with was as courteous as could be, thanking me for my offer, but insisting that it wasn't necessary. He simply suggested that if I wanted to be helpful, to simply call them the next time I need a cab, while also mentioning writing a review. Despite my insistence of compensating him for the missed fare, he would not accept it, but instead responded like someone with true consideration for their customers. After checking voice mail I was made aware that he and his Skyline driver both tried calling me at the time of arrival to my home. I need not look any further for dependable cab service.... With Gratitude to Skyline! read more

Ok. They driver was polite & on time but the cab smelled like farts & as we started up the grade from Camarillo I heard the driver blowing farts it smelled like Mexican food & ass. I got really disgusted & almost puked rolling down the window so I could get fresh air . Then when I got home my wife asked if I had Mexican food for lunch guess it got into the fabric of my cloths. Anyway I can't say the drivers name but he likes Mexican food & is a farter. read more

I was forced to use Skyline taxi and ended up paying twice the rate I usually pay. I don't understand why cab rates aren't regulated here like most cities I've been to. DON'T take a Skyline taxi unless you enjoy paying whatever they feel like charging you. The driver was nice and just doing his job, but why use their service when Uber offers much better rides for half the price? I can't believe rates aren't regulated like they are in cities on the East Coast. Step up Cali and regulate cab rates. Rant is over read more

Deb is my favorite driver, highly dependable and she gives me candy. Like, butterscotches n' stuff. I don't bother with other services even though they're ok, because Skyline is hands down THE BEST. read more

Maniac Drivers would never let them drive me anywhere. Speeding, cutting in and out of traffic and a general lake of courtesy on the road. Call Uber or Lyft instead. read more

Skyline taxi is the best taxi service I have ever had! Not only are they always right on time they are always super friendly and funny! I have never been more comfortable in a taxi cab then I have been in theirs! Skyline taxi is the way to go!!!!! read more

Skyline Taxi "rescued" us when the Lyft ride we scheduled suddenly disappeared. Deb is simply the best! I had to organize this ride remotely for my child and Deb was reassuring and take great care of her. 100% recommend!!!! read more

Friendly taxi driver:) always on time, and clean car. Always used this guy when I was in Ventura.

Family business, I have gathered. They are extremely friendly, always answer the phone, and arrive on time!

Always there when I need them to pick me up from downtown. Thank you for keeping the roads safe :)

This cab company was amazing! We were in Camarillo for a friend's wedding. All times that were quoted were exact and our cab drivers were very polite and knowledgeable. If we return to the area, I would not use another company. We were lucky to get James for 2 rides and he was awesome! I didn't get the other driver's name, but she was great, too. Use this cab service when you're in Camarillo! read more

I can not praise these guys and gals enough. Other taxi companies need to use this business frame work as their template. Grade A service across the board. They have gone over and beyond what a cab service should provide. Love ya guys and gal! read more

Wow, this cab service was too great! My ride bailed on me last minute, so I called Skyline Taxi to pick me up and take me to pick up my pet from the vet as soon as possible (I had only 30 minutes to pick him up or the vet would keep him overnight). The driver came very quickly and got us to our destination with 10 minutes to spare! She was very nice and understanding. If you're going to hitch a taxi ride in the Ventura area, choose Skyline! read more

Great service, very helpful!! ... I was in Ventura for a Conference and had Skyline give me a ride to the bus station. Carrying 3 bags and a research poster case, I mistakenly left the poster case at the bus stop when I boarded the bus. I realized my error a few minutes later and called James at Skyline to see if he could check if it was still there. James returned to the station and drove the poster back to my hotel so that I could have it shipped to me back home. Suffice it to say, Skyline went above and beyond to help me with a difficult situation. I would recommend Skyline to anyone who asks. read more
