Great store location and you can't beat the coffee. Service is hit or miss. Some are friendly and some are busy talking to each other or looking around in a confused state. They never have brewed coffee ready when I show up, including this morning at 8:30am with no one in line and 5 employees working. Seems strange since it's a coffee shop. Now they're offering more food selections, which will likely only add to employees' confusion. read more

Peet's Coffee is unmatched. If you're looking for a place for a good cup of coffee or tea and not sprawled out with a bunch of high school kids this is the place to go. Noise level is perfect to get things done, as well as the seating being nice and comfy. Added plus, the wifi was really fast which is really rare in a coffee shop. read more

We bike ride just about every Sunday morning. We make a point to stop in at Peet's. As a coffee snob, Peet's coffee is the best. Whether you get a latte or just coffee (I like mine black), its great! So, I have my daily commute Peet's in Marina del Rey, but I would hate to forget to give props to Liz and her team in Seal Beach! As with most Peets' I've been to, the atmosphere is always a little more laid back and relaxed vs. the high-stress feel of Starbucks. The baristas are nice and will give recommendations when you're just not sure what you want. Although the sugar/creamer bar still is a little tight, it's not too bad, and seating can be bad on weekend mornings (I believe there's a group that gets together here). Yes, the wi-fi is only an hour, but at least the place doesn't look like the Los Al High study hall with kids and laptops everywhere (i.e. Starbucks across the street). I know this sounds odd, but the best part of Peet's coffee is that each blend has an actual flavor/taste, not just a watered-down or stronger version of the same blend. It can sometimes be a pain as different blends require a little more/less cream or sugar, but it's great in that you get to know your favorites and the regions they're from. I'm in town for Christmas break. I went in the morning for some tea and to grade my students' tests before we went on break. I asked the gentleman working the cashier (he has glasses on) for his recommendation on tea and he suggested a loose leaf one. I forgot his name but the purpose of this review is the impeccable service. He put the cup and tea pot on a tray so I could take it outside. He even offered to give me a timer to let the tea sit for 5 minutes. He refilled the kettle for round 2. Great service and super helpful. read more

This location has some extremely friendly staff. Coffee is always fresh, and is usually out within 1-3 minutes. We enjoy the buy a half pound of beans receive free small drink deal, it's really a bargain. Up your coffee game and hit Peets instead. read more

I love Peets coffee even more than starbucks and this place always has great service and coffee. There's an outdoor area with a little fountain area which is great for the little kids. The only reason I gave it three stars is because they're always playing really stuffy classical music which takes some of the fun away and gives the place an old stuffy feeling. Since I have been here, I divorced S-Bucks forever lol. I love the ambience here. Staffs are always friendly and funny. I spend almost everyday before my class in the morning and every Tuesday and Thursday night after school. My home is 20 minutes away from Peets at Seal Beach but i always try to come here for the drink if i have any spare time ^__^ read more

I have been coming to this location since it opened in 2008 and the service has been nothing short of incredible. An exquisite selection of tea and much better tasting coffee's then Starbuck's. I would recommend coming here over Starbuck's to anyone it is head and shoulders above if only there were as many Peet's locations as there were Starbuck's. read more

The customer service here is great. I used to go to portfolio in LB since I moved this is the closest place to reup my morning energy. They learn your name and are always in a good mood (maybe cuz they have access to all that good coffe) It has a very small town everybody knows everybody feel. No attitude just really cool people and good service doesn't get better than that. read more

I've been to this Peet's Coffee many times before, but yesterday it was particularly wonderful. I came in with my toddler, I am pregnant, and I ordered something that wasn't even on the menu. Yes, I was that annoying customer. The barista made what I asked, but she was honest and said that she felt bad serving it to me because it did not look appetizing. She was right, but it was on me, I thought, because I had asked her to make something so weird (coconut cream blended with decaf iced coffee.) Another barista came over and had a different idea on how to make it. She did a lovely job and it was delicious! I love Peet's because it is a classy place. They don't have loud annoying music. Their coffee is amazing. It's just a cut above. I've worked in the food service industry for years, and I know how terrible *that* customer can be. (That one like me yesterday.) But they handled me with grace, and I am very grateful!! Thank you Peet's Coffee in Rossmoor!! read more

The people are very nice, and many remember my order every time I come in. The inside is clean with a decent amount of tables and plugs for electronics. There is also a very relaxing outdoor area surrounding a large fountain. read more

Really cool atmosphere, plenty of sets but there "free WiFi" is lame. You only get one hour of free WiFi with a purchase. I'm using part of it to write this. If you have a lot of studying to do that requires internet go elsewhere. read more

This is the best coffee spot in the OC! Great Peet's signature blends, especially Garuda, Mocha Sanani, Decaf Major Dickason, and aged Sumatra. I'm strictly a black coffee guy, and this is the best American coffee by far. Sorry Starbucks . The staff is great from mgr Elizabeth to baristas Molly, Summer, and Scott. My wife loves the dry cappuccinos so I get her one when I buy beans for home brew. Always perfect ! Also forgot to mention Amanda, Natalie, and Chelsie. Super cool. Don't forget you also get a free cup of Joe with each pound of beans. Beat that Starbucks!! read more
