This past Saturday we had the easiest stop at Peet's Coffee! Quick in and out to grab some rich black coffees that are always on point. Plus, I picked up two of their delicious everything plant-based sandwiches--flavor packed and satisfying! Service and atmosphere were both welcoming.

I usually don't go to Pete's because their coffee is really strong and I have a very weak stomach. Lol but someone gave me a gift card so I had to go check it out. I was able to get there, Yosemite coffee and a half pound form and I'm going to brew it at a lighter Amount so it won't upset my stomach. I found out when you buy coffee, you also get to try a half cup of coffee that they're brewing and I tried The Big Bang! That coffee was particularly dark. Roasted and I literally doubled it over in water and added two packs of raw brown sugar. It was still kind of bold for my liking, but did have a good flavor. Plus, the coffee had sugar in it, so I don't know the full flavor, but it was very dark roast for me. This particular Pete's location was on the corner and they have a really big lobby/seating area! I also like their display of all the espresso beans in vaults that are organized by category. I am a fan of Organic thing, so I'm really happy that they actually have organic coffee as well as farm produced , since the Yosemite coffee was a lighter blend and the barista at the counter said it was his favorite. I figured I would try that coffee and it smells simply marvelous! I still brewed that coffee on a lighter/weak tablespoon for the 12 ounce cup, but I was happy with my purchase. Hee.

My new favorite coffee drink!

I have been drinking more Peet's as of late at a friend's home. I needed coffee today after my swim. Well let me tell you! I had one of the Best Experiences in at a coffee counter ever. My Barrista asked all the right questions, offered suggestions when I was hesitant, was professional and engaging. I went with the tweeks of her suggestions and I am so glad I did. I bought both ground coffee and a takeaway latte. Clean bright shop. I'll be back.

I've been to Peet's Coffee in Santa Rosa and Cotati many times, and I absolutely love their Matcha Green Tea Latte with oat milk . it's always a treat! The Petaluma location made it perfectly, just the way I like it: smooth, flavorful, and not too sweet. I also really enjoy their egg and cheese sandwiches so good for breakfast and a great way to start the day. The service is consistently friendly, and the environment is cozy and welcoming. I'll definitely be going back!

Peets Saturday

I really do like this Peet's location. On Saturday morning it's very social with people visiting drinking their coffee so the ambience is nice. I was greeted very nicely when I walked in my chai tea was delicious. But ....... it's so sad everything is so expensive. My small chai tea was $5.40 (full disclosure I changed my milk to half-and-half which up the price) Also, when I was there, I noticed other people had brought food in from other places to have with their coffee. Is Peets a little over priced? Or is it necessary because everything is so expensive at the grocery store?

Beautiful Coffee scoop!

First time trying the bakery in Peet's. The service was great and fast! Ordered cranberry creamy scone, it is very soft and heated to perfect temperature. A little bit less sugar will be great . So does the sugar free vanilla latte. My bad, should have ordered less shot of sugar free vanilla for my latte. Chicken Chorizo Flatbread was the best! We ordered 2 for the boys . Lol! I heard the mocha Frappe is pretty good. Will try next time. Surprised to see the Store sells the logo pins. Cute!

Gotta get that matcha green tea latte!

Pretty ok location, I come here out of convenience. Baristas and cashiers always seem to be nice. Little bit on the dirty side, better maintenance of the floors, tables and area where the lids, sugar, cream, etc. would be appreciated.

My opinion is based on four things: no tourists, good Peetniks, easy parking, big inside.

Wow!! Hands down the best pastries in Petaluma (and maybe further)…read more The selection of both sweet and savory options is out of this world. SO many croissant, muffins, bread, cake, and other pastries to choose from. You can never leave with just one (hence my order of 5 items) Coffee is also delish and the quality of all the food is top tier. Lovely customer service as well. Nice outdoor seating on a sunny day :)

They have specialty shelf stable chocolate and snacks and a display full of beautiful desserts! ** pistachio cream puff (4.5/5): unlike the more traditional choux shell, this one was laminated like croissant dough-- fun! The cream was also thick enough to not leak everywhere and didn't taste artificial. Really enjoy this one! ** strawberry and cream chiffon cake slice (3.5/5): didn't really feel like a chiffon cake or maybe it was on the drier side. It worked well with the mascarpone frosting though, which was smooth and a little too rich for me by itself. There wasn't too much strawberry besides the sweet jam layer in the middle. ** Brutta mi buoni (4/5): translated to "ugly but delicious," this craggly meringue actually caught my eye and curiosity for its looks. I'm usually not a fan of meringues, but this one was loaded with nuts and was tasty. Kind of tastes like a refined version of those Lucky Charms cereal marshallows in a good way! Happy with my little haul at Stellina Pronto! They were friendly and had a few window seats + outdoor seating. I'll probably stop by next time I'm in the area to try some new items. Definitely check them out if you're nearby!

They make good pastries here and they are very serious about making great coffee. The service is very good and it's a great place to sit and work on your laptop. I enjoyed it, although it tasted almost like a healthy drink because of the bee pollen! I typically enjoy their gluten free pumpkin muffin, which is delicious! Seriously, you might think pie is pie, but no, there's pie, and then there's pie from Petaluma Pie Company. Friendly employee and clean area outside the shop is well. So that's good. My only complaint is the eco-friendly fork they provide is absolutely awful. Not sure if it's a Petaluma requirement but real plastic forks would be much appreciated. Regardless, this place is a must-try!

I Spy With My Little Pie…read more This farm-to-table, locally-owned pie shop has been serving up both sweet and savory pie creations in Downtown Petaluma since 2010. They recently underwent an ownership change in 2024 from the OGs, but fortunately, instead of selling to a corporation, they sold it to an employee and his mother to help ensure the original ethos and quality remain intact. The Good: * Their pies are made with locally-sourced and organic ingredients bought from the local farmers market--as well as some fruit that they grow themselves! * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * As mentioned above, they have both sweet and savory pies. We only tried the sweet *oink oink* * Friendly service * Love that they have both full sized pies and smaller ones, so you don't have to commit to a big ol' pie. * We tried their Elvis (PB, banana, and chocolate) and their Black & Blue Crumble and they were both fabulous! I leaned a bit more to the B&B, as I absolutely adored that granola crumble on top, but the Elvis was no slouch either. The Meh: * Interior is small and very cramped. Definitely a grab-and-go type operation. The Ugly: * Parking in DT Petaluma can be a hassle, as it's street parking only, but at least it's free. Conclusion: Fantastic spot to scratch that 3.14 itch--and I'm always itchy!

Simple but blunt review:…read more Pros- This coffee shop is cute and has a unique edgy, but cute contemporary vibe. The staff is generally friendly and the service has been mostly great. The drip coffee has not been bad in my experience, and I've enjoyed and tolerated my espresso drinks as well. Cons - The prices. There is not justification for me to visit the Pink Owl daily or even weekly, because of the prices. I live in the vicinity of Pink Owl and have not visited it more than 30 times in two years because of the prices. I know Petaluma wants to pay their employees high wages and be progressive and what not and an undisclosed amount of $$ go to cancer research, and that's great, but who ends up having to fork out more money to fund this? EVEN with the occasional $2 off, $5 off rewards, it is cheaper to go elsewhere. "You've earned a reward" is a message not worth looking forward to, because you still end up having to shill out more money than expected. What's the point of $5 off if I still have to pay an additional $4 for a large cup of hot milk and a dash of espresso in the guise of a latte? Pink Owl is not quality enough for the prices. Petaluma has great quality coffee and Espresso in abundance. It sucks because it's a cute shop that I would enjoy if it wasn't for that slight little hiccup. On that note, I don't know a single Petaluma local that raves about Pink Owl or religiously visits them or even talks about them. I can say they do rave about other coffee shops though. I'll drop by when I win the lottery.
