My new favorite coffee place. I am a total convert. The coffee and tea selection is great and the atmosphere is really open clean and comfortable. That is not easy to pull off in a strip mall. The Peetniks are very kind and respectful. The staff is efficient and I love their selection of scones and other treats in addition to the before mentioned coffee and tea choices. It's well worth signing up for their mailing list. You get occasional coupons and invites to free coffee tastings so you can compare and contrast several different brews at once. It's busy but not too busy. I never feel rushed there. read more

The folks in here are ALWAYS awesome! And they ALWAYS get my drink right! I just HATE The parking. I feel like I have to do algebra when I go here and so I don't go very often. That and the restrooms always seem to be messy when I stop by. I mention this because I feel that is a sign of a clean environment. But it could just be that I hit it at the wrong time. Otherwise they are great! read more

Met up here with a group of friends heading out for a Sonoma coast dive. Plenty of space, a friendly team and a couple of well-executed cappuccinos. read more

Not sure how this earned a "good for working" badge when they don't provide electrical outlets. In fact, they intentionally covered all outlets. This, in my opinion, is code for "don't work here." I've never been to Peet's that employed this. Hoping this review saves others a trip to this location. read more

I like that this is a fairly large location, has a lot of parking, friendly employees, etc., but the internet is very, very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to download a short podcast. The next closest Peet's has slightly faster wifi, but not that great either. Guess I'll have to go to their competitor next time :( read more

Peet's at other locales in Petaluma are better It's always very COLD in this store = spring, summer, fall. I'm not sure about winter. Everyone complains about this a lot. It never changes. Adjust the temp or fix the AC! The temperature should suit the customers, not the staff. My normal time to visit, early afternoon - not a busy time. Barista's are anything but efficient. They ask your name, then don't call your name, or perhaps forget to write your name on cup. Then they let drink sit on bar and get cold. This has happened 2 weeks in a row. They are slow, slow, slow. Is this bad management or lousy staff or both? Interesting that I just read a similar review, written in October 2017. Lunch offerings are boring and not very good. (actually they are not good at all) I feel like I am eating pre-packed airport food. Take a lesson from places like Costa Coffee in the UK. read more

I've been drinking Peet's coffees and teas for years. This place just reiterates the quality of the arabica blend coffee they use here. Being a bit of a coffee buff, I appreciate the meticulous nature of the Batista's methodology. I would highly recommend going in, sitting down for a while to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere there. Please, stop and smell the coffee! read more

Friendly staff, nice creamy foam (not sudsy like some shops!). Clean and well stocked and maintained. All and all a great Peet's like most! read more

I'm not sure what the deal is but the employees need to get a better system down . I go to a couple other Peets locations and they are far more efficient when it comes to orders. This Peets always seems to take forever when it comes to making drinks. Not sure if it's a Management issue or just who they have staffed but seriously don't come here unless you don't mind waiting forever Slow slow slow read more

This place is THE BEST! EAST SIDE ROCKS !! Nick [one of the barristas] is one of the GREATEST COFFEE MAKERS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! Generally friendly atmosphere - the employees are THE BEST -- although not too many customers will offer you the time of day [but I guess that is California for you.] This place is HEAD & SHOULDERS above Starbucks. If you drink at Starbucks and consider that coffee than - you are just not on the same planet with me. I like REAL COFFEE - not brown water. Peet's Coffee will wake you up and tastes great at the same time. Yummy albeit pricey snacks too ! read more

This Peet's has great hiring and/or great training. Super friendly and competent service. I like the food options, too. I love the gingerbread and the fruit and cheese box I just ate for breakup was fresh and had a nice variety of cheese and almonds and crackers. I look forward to coming here even if the location is in the most boring strip-mall location one could possibly imagine. read more

I already knew this place had terrible coffee....unless you like burnt beans...now I know they have the worst chai ever as well! Seriously...it's not that hard to make a good chai! It wasn't even drinkable....eww! read more

The absolute worst customer service I've had in my life. After ordering a vanilla latte, I asked the lady if they had any breakfast sandwiches, to which her response was "We're not Mcdonalds". I responded in kind with "no kidding" To top it off they totally screwed up my coffee. Will never be back here again!! If the kind lady that "served" me this morning should read this: customer service goes a long way. read more

This is my absolute favorite Pete's coffee out of all the Pete's coffees I have been too. The reason? It is incredibly spacious, plenty of tables and couches to perch yourself on while studying. The barista's are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I have never had a single bad experience here. They always get my order correct, which can be hard to do because I don't do dairy at all. The drinks are fantastically made and are always spot on delicious. Never had a single drink here that was bad. There are drinks that I do not like out of preference, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the drink. The only nit picky thing I have to say is that there aren't a lot of plugs to plug in your lap top or your phone. There is a plug outlet at the corner where the windows are and tables. And the next outlet is in the other corner with the high chairs. What IS nice is that they have a big extension chord outlet so multiple people can plugin their electronics. What I generally do is plugin my phone there and just go to my table while it charges. The bathrooms are big and decently clean. Sometimes homeless people come in to use the bathroom, but as of late I haven't encountered that. Love this location, the baristas, the space, the coffee and treats, and the atmosphere. n read more

Peet's Coffee - Chocolate cake truffle. The Barista made it sound like heaven. I'm craving chocolate. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Petaluma, California

Heather S. hit the nail on the head when she declared this to be the best Peet's of Petaluma. A recent visit to the Boulevard Peet's reinforced that. I can't say I've had any remarkable experiences at this location, but that's actually a compliment. They just do things right here. read more

I'm not usually the biggest fan of Peets espresso drinks, but today i tried the Maple Latte and it was SO delicious. I'm originally from the Northeast so I'm a huge maple fan and this did not disappoint: it was rich and creamy and the maple flavoring was authentic and not overpowering. I will most definitely be returning for another, but sadly it's a seasonal drink :( read more

Peet's Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Petaluma, California

It was my first time going to Peet's. I got a mocha latte. When I took my first sip I burnt my mouth soooo bad. The milk was scalded. Even fifteen minutes later the drink was too hot to consume, and it tasted gross because the milk was scalded. I was so mad because I got a large so it was like 5$. I also got a pastry which wasn't good. It was a pop tart and it just tasted like sugar not fruity. read more

The hot cocoa here is sooo good. Incredibly chocolatey and rich. The staff mix the hot cocoa very thoroughly, and add a bit of whip cream on top. Delicious! This is a very clean store and there is a small outdoor seating area out front. read more

LOVE Peet's Coffee & Tea! I had a friend who would buy me their tea in bulk. The Lemon Rose is super delicious and the Lavendar Earl Grey! The service is always great and never a very long wait. read more

This is the best Peet's I have visited. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and if they make a mistake, they're quick to make it right. The manager, Jeff, has done a great job in taking over the store and making sure the customers leave happy. read more

Always great service and great products. Garuda blend is my personal favorite blend. Great place to relax.

I love the convenient location and the friendly staff here. I'm always greeted with a smile. Makes my day!

I want to like this place again and be able to go again. The coffee is and will always be on point. But the customer service was awful today, maybe because it was a weekend and busy so I understand but it wasn't a good experience at all. I could have gone to the Starbucks drive thru and got better service than this. The cashier thought my name was Sal but it's Sam. He wasn't pleasant at all. He looked confused. The gentleman behind him was taking coffee orders and I thought he was trying to get some other orders too and give me a rude stare after I placed my order. But anyways I must have misunderstood but he was still rude and didn't seem nice at all. I'll stick to the Peet's elsewhere. This place is a joke. It sucks because I love their coffee! But maybe the next time I go, I won't expect good service and just get my coffee and go! read more

I have been to peets a few times now and I didn't have the best experience when they are in grocery stores but I have went into the actual peets coffee shops recently and I am impressed! The tea was very good! And the coffee was amazing as well! Peets is officially my favorite! read more

I love their coffee and stop by here almost every morning. It's neat and clean I just wish their service was a bit quicker

The staff is nice but their coffee is like steamed milk on fleek. It's not worth paying $5 for a cup of coffee that's supposed to basically be high end coffee. Miss the old baristas these new ones are not being trained thoroughly. read more

Peet's sells coffee. Good, strong coffee flavored coffee. I like being able to grab a cup and be done in less then 2 minutes. I can't stand being behind the person ordering some fancy gross milk bases coffee flavored drink. Thank you for selling good strong flavorful coffee. read more

By far the best Peet's! Amazing staff, perfect layout. Nice atmosphere. I enjoy going to different Peet's and this one really is the best.

I've been drinking Peet's coffee for over forty years. Will never go back to this location. The store was dirty, the baristas could have cared less about helping us and the baked goods we bought were not worth the money. My grandson got a croissant, they don't have butter, and could they have put it on a plate instead of a paper bag? I strongly object to a barista with a big ring through the bottom of her nose as well. This store needs a new manager and someone who gives a darn. It's obvious that there currently is no one there who cares. Will not go again. As much as I do not like Starbucks, anything would have been more enjoyable than this mess! read more

the white chocolate frap is whoa delicious!! Awesome Staff!!!

Came here for a cup of joe and was met by a goth chick who did not say a word to me, but just looked at me like "bitch, what do you want?" So I told her I wanted a dark roast, she just shrugged and said "we'll grab it for you" while staring me in the face not moving.... So I asked for a small coffee (in case she didn't understand), which should have been the uzuri African bled (according to the sign), but I watched her pour decaf Sumatra into my cup (far left nozzle in case there's confusion). This lack of respect and plain unadulterated rudeness is why I decided to post something on here for the first time evere. I was beyond offended and upset by her behavior and after watching her greet "regular" customers before and after me in a completely different manner, I was disgusted. And just as a heads up, the coffee was disgusting. I took maybe two half sips before dumping it out. She had a flower tattoo on her left arm and looked like a knockoff Amy winehouse. I will never ever go back there for anything ever. The rest of the staff was great but this chick ruined my entire peets experience. At least at this store. read more

Seriously this peets is super efficient and their baristas are on point. Not to mention their store is nice and clean!

I have only got a couple of cafes here, but I agree with the reviews, a very pleasant place to enjoy a cup of joe.

Lots of seating. Nice quiet peets vibe that you would expect. Awful, painfully slow internet. Very strong espresso.
