The fabric, yarn, and crafts section have been a hit since they were added/expanded, the office supplies section is larger with a wider variety of items, and we can buy most of our basic food items here, and then some, which is a major convenience. Now, we need to make the longer run to Acme only about once a month, which isn't too bad. We can get all of the school uniforms for the kids here (shop early, because things sell out quickly), and Daughter loves the ongoing clearance of baby clothes. You can't do better on the prices. Even the employees seem happier since the renovation. We've gone to the service desk up front to send money, return items or bring back electronic gadgets that gave out while under warranty (and we always get Walmart's extended warranty on the bigger-ticket items). There's never been any hint of a problem returning them if/when they stop working; the employees there are always very helpful and efficient. We're eager to find out if the rumored Super Walmart will ever become a reality; this area could really use it! I never expected to become any kind of a fan of Walmart, but this store has earned it.

Christiana mall has a lot of great stores! I was on a business trip to Elkton, MD. and needed to buy some sweatpants. While I did not find any that I liked at this mall I did find other items I liked and bought. The mall itself is clean and has plenty of parking outside. The food court is pretty large with a variety of places to choose from. You will find something to eat here, there are a lot of places. There's also a Target which is super convenient! I love malls with Targets, it saves you an extra trip. The prices here felt a little lower than the Bay Area, CA. I went to JC Penny and found some nice things and the cashier lady even helped me get a coupon online to save a little extra cash. All the people I interacted with here were friendly. All the stores were out together and well stocked. The only thing I was not thrilled about was the Nordstrom. I love Nordstrom, I can even say I have a Nordstrom shopping problem. This Nordstrom is very underwhelming. There is not a whole lot of selection for women and I was bummed. I was looking to see if they had some items I saw online and they did not. The store itself was clean and the employees were very nice. I'll be writting a separate review for JC Penny and Nordstrom. This mall is a good place to shop with good stores inside. Nothing too high end, they have Coach but you won't see any of the higher end brands like Louis Vuitton or Gucci here.

When I asked for the location of the device, I was told "Over there," as the clerk vaguely gestured to some location a few feet away. When I asked about the store warranty/return policy, I was told that there was none. I then asked for the manager. The clerk apparently got very angry. He hemmed and hawed. I asked again. He got even more angry. I again asked for the manager explaining that I just needed more information. He reluctantly called a manager over. The manager was standing just 10 feet away. I got my question answered and then decided to take my business elsewhere.

She turns abruptly to go back to her paperwork, and replies "no problem" with a dismissive tone. There wasn't even the pretense of courtesy here, and I clearly got the message that customers are an interruption of their work, rather than the reason the store exists in the first place.

The market is small (maybe 5-6 stands) and it felt a little ... I'm sorry, but dead? We were there around 11:30 on a Saturday, and there were very few people there. We did end up getting a snack, but the market just didn't seem very alive. The architecture of the space is really cool, so I felt that the space wasn't being taken full advantage of. Ultimately, not a place I'd recommend you check out if you're in Wilmington for a short time. Certainly more vibrant, fun places to check out.
