I re opened my Boscov's charge card and got another 15% off my total bill! For $130, I got two brand name pair of jeans, exercise attire, a small leather clutch, and a really nice mid weight Fall sweater material jacket. Today's hi-light was meeting a sweet and stellar cashier who WENT OUT OF HER WAY to get me a cart because she was me piled up and struggling ;) This woman blew me away with her kindness, patience, and genuine interest when talking to her customers. I wish I remembered her name from her store employee tag. (She was a 60 something? black woman with glasses and mid length salt and pepper hair ). To me - the role model and epitome for what cashiers should embody. Deptford Mall really rocks with the anchor department stores of Boscov's, Macy's, and JC Penney's!

I love them, light and comfortable. Unfortunately at the end of August just before my daily walk with my dog I noticed that one of the eyelet/hoock for the shoe lace detached itself and I can no longer use them. I stopped at the store with the damaged item, the sales lady recognized that the shoes had not been abused, i was hoping for an exchange since i had them less than 30 days!! Nope, even dough the manager found my name i n the computer he didn't want to do anything without the receipt...yes at over 70 years old...he suspected that i took the goods and ran...really very disappointing action from LL Bean management.... It wasn't until I traveled to the East Coast that I was actually able to visit an LL Bean store for myself. The first one that I visited was at an outlet in Virginia. This time, we stopped in New Jersey in what looks like a newer location. LL Bean is located in an outdoor shopping center in New Jersey, not too far from the NY border. Initially, I thought that this was an outlet location, due to the layout of the properties. They had a lot of popular stores that you don't see at shopping malls. So, I was surprised that it so many stores that are a bit more pricey in an outlet format. LL Bean is an outdoor enthusiasts' ideal location to find gear that would be beneficial to their excursions. They carry clothing for all seasons as well as jackets that are ideal for subzero temperatures. Also, their signature Bean Boots are available in all sizes and at a discounted price. They had a lot of Bean Boots aka duck boots on the rack in adult sizes, so it was nice to get a good pair of boots at a reasonable price. I feel like LL Bean has more clothing, gear, and accessories in their stores. Whereas you'd find larger items online. They do carry bike racks, hunting supplies, snowshoes, and kayaks, but they don't have as much in store. Luckily, you can place an order through the store and they'll ship everything directly to your home. One thing that I really love about LL Bean is the educator/student discount. You can get it multiple times throughout the year and they'll provide you with a code that you can use in store or online. I had to input my school's information and a copy of my teacher's ID. They sent the code straight to my email and the discount was applied when I checked out. Also, you could just show them your school ID and they'll just give you the discount right there. Each location is different, but they're usually pretty laid back and always willing to help you out. I love everything about LL Bean. This is the store that has been near and dear to my heart since I discovered them years ago. We hope to visit their flagship store in Freeport, Maine in the future.

The deals here are some of the best you'll find outside of other outlets; shoes, apparel, and accessories all marked down way below what you'd expect to pay elsewhere. Even compared to their online store, these make them look like thieves. What really makes the experience even better is the staff. They're attentive without being pushy, and you can tell they actually care about helping you find what you need. No one's breathing down your neck trying to upsell you, which is a nice change from a lot of other stores.. If anything, they'll point you toward the best deals--even though, truthfully, everything's already pretty discounted. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because the layout can sometimes feel a bit picked-through, especially during busier times. But that's kind of expected at any outlet. If you're patient, you'll find exactly what you're looking for and probably something extra. If not, then they can order it for you and get all the legwork down for you to ship to the destination of your choice. All in all, a great place to get legit Nike gear for way less, with a team that treats you right. Definitely recommend.
