DevelPro did an excellent job building the framing, adding a drain, putting up drywall, and getting a giant window installed for me. When the window manufacturer sent us a window that didn't open the way I expected, DevelPro tracked down a company in Europe that could make a new window and gave me the option of trying to modify what I had or waiting a few months for a new custom order. I opted to have them try and fix the manufacturer's mistake and they did a perfect job of getting me a window that maximizes my opening clearance so I can still move bulky items into the basement. I'm already planning on hiring them again to help get my interior doors installed.

I went to get bids from other companies; first up were the two big window companies. Because these are Solarium windows, I knew that the measurements would be different than normal house windows, so I made sure I sent pictures so the companies knew what I was talking about. The 2 Big Window Companies, that have multiple advertisements and even brag manufacturing their own windows, first told me Yes! No Problem! Then in the middle of the chat I was having with them to have someone come out for measurements and an estimate, a live person then hopped on to the chat and told me that I was communicating with AI and that they were WRONG, that these two companies DO NOT DO or WON'T TOUCH Solarium Type Windows. I then tried a third Company who came out, measured and then quoted me an amount that ended up being 3x as much for what I ended up paying! Enter DevelPRO! When other Companies said "No" DevelPRO said Yes! and from start to finish I can not stress enough how refreshing it was to finally have real confidence with a contractor like this! When hearing horror stories about other Contractor's are the norm, I am pleased to say that DevelPRO is NOT ONE OF THEM!!. Professional and Hard Working is there ethic! but the best part? The Communication!! Never once was I not able to get a hold of Paul and his Team and there were times when Paul was touching base with Me! I urge you, if you have a home project to tackle (no matter the size) Please let DevelPRO come and give you a bid, you will not be sorry. If you end up using DevelPRO for your project you will understand why I am singing their high praises! From now on, ANY home project that I may have the DevelPRO can do will ALWAYS have my Business!

**Very disappointed with the durability and repairability of Gaia flooring**…read more We had Gaia Red Series Torre flooring professionally installed by Lane Hardwood in 2023, and unfortunately, we have been very disappointed with our experience with the product only about three years later. We have experienced significant flooring issues, including damaged/broken planks and, in a separate area near the sink, flooring that is now bulging and cupping. I understand that the causes of these issues may be different, and I am still working to determine exactly what caused each problem. However, the repair process has been particularly frustrating. Because of the interlocking installation system, we were told that individual damaged planks cannot simply be removed and replaced. Instead, large sections of the flooring need to be removed back to the wall in order to access and replace the affected area. As a result, we received repair estimates from Lane Hardwood of approximately **$2,450 for 142 square feet** and **$5,600 for 331 square feet**. I understand that not all types of damage are necessarily covered under a manufacturer's warranty. My concern is that a professionally installed floor that is only about three years old can be so difficult and expensive to repair when localized damage occurs. Gaia presents its flooring as a premium, durable product with a long residential warranty, so I expected better long-term performance and, importantly, better repairability. At this point, based on our experience with both the flooring issues and the repair process, **I would not choose this flooring again.**

Our initial elation was tempered a little when we uncovered some badly patched areas that we thought might not be able to be repaired. But then we contacted Hardwood Perfections. They came out quickly and advised us that indeed they could repair all of the damage and could do it on a timetable that fit perfectly into our plans. The floor refinishing crew did amazing work. After pulling up all of the damaged materials they rebuilt portions of the subfloor and then laced in new oak boards in a way that matched the existing floor perfectly. Next were several rounds of sanding to remove the old finish and even out everything. On the third and final day they applied Bona Natural water-based sealer followed by three coats of Bona matte finish. The results were stunning. Hardwood Perfections completely transformed this living space into something beautiful and amazing. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was flawless. All along the way we were advised of what was happening so there were never any surprises. Hardwood Perfections finished the job a full day ahead of schedule, did amazing work and stuck right to the estimate for services. Everything was fantastic and I heartily recommend them to anyone seeking to have old floors refinished or renewed. Hats off to Slav, Silviu and William for their truly amazing work.
