Very nice eatery to visit. It's quite cute inside. You go inside and request a table and they will take you to a table, either inside or outside per your preference and availability. Once you review the menu, you go inside to order. Our food came out pretty quickly, within about 12 minutes. We ordered two chicken pot pies and a side order of brussels sprouts . This is smaller than the shareable size, but that was perfect for just the two of us. The pot pies were good and brussels sprouts were really delicious! Folks are friendly. We would eat here again.

Food was very delicious and felt quite fresh. It was kind of busy when we were there but service was good. Vintage rustic decor was cool. Grateful for atleast a some vegetarian/vegan options on the menu.

Really overhyped especially given the largely positive reviews of this restaurant. We came in right before lunch time to beat the rush but ultimately waited almost an hour for our food. There was an option to order directly off our phones via QR scanner (option introduced during COVID-19) which we regret given it felt like that made things slower rather than directly ordering from a waiter. We also did not receive any waters too despite requesting for it. Food is overall average for American dining, but service is definitely a big part for the 2.5-3 star rating Ordered - Buffalo Burger (3/5). This tasted like any other burger and not like Buffalo. It was a little small and didn't make any lasting impression - Battered Fish & Fries (3/5). This was meh. Maybe one level above Long John's Silver fast-food Overall we had too high of expectations and should have tried one of the local sandwich shops during our visit in Lanesboro.

Place was pretty baller. Or should I say "biker?" No? Not as cool as "baller?" Alright, whatever. Place was really good though. We got the fries and Brussels sprouts. Big fan! Would definitely recommend for a stop after some biking.

Really busy today but the service was good and the fantastic. The pic is the blackened chicken. The drink a wonderful root beer!!

This place was so yum!!! OMG!! I'm so glad we stopped! We sat outside. Service was easy and friendly. We brought our dog and they brought out water for him. The food was so good. My son said it was the best tender and fries he's ever had. And the strawberry salad and truffle fries... so dang yum!! You better believe I won't stop in the area without stopping here. So good!!!!!

The brewery itself is really well-built with a cozy, welcoming vibe. There's plenty of seating inside, plus a great outdoor area that I can imagine would be perfect on a warm day. They offer a great variety of beers to suit most palates. We tried a flight that included: * Lanesbrew American Lager - Crisp and super refreshing, one of our favorites. * Willow Citrus Wheat Ale - Light and citrusy, great for an easy sip. * Gnarly Old Ale - Rich, flavorful, and full of character--definitely a standout. * Butterbeer Weisse - A fun, slightly sweet way to wrap things up. It made a great final note to the tasting. On top of the drinks, they also offer pizza and a few snacks onsite, which is a nice bonus if you're feeling a little hungry while you sample. Overall, Sylvan Brewery is a solid stop if you're in or around Lanesboro. Great beer, good vibes, and I'm sure the view gets even better as the season turns. Would definitely return!

This place is an absolute gem!…read more The parking lot is small, but it's conveniently located at the top of the hill. There's also some additional parking on the other side of the restaurant. We've never had any trouble finding parking, but we usually arrive around 5 or 6 PM. If you're a fan of red meat, this is the place for you. I've tried both the ribeye and the prime rib, and both were absolutely fantastic. The portion sizes are generous for the price, so I always end up with leftovers. The prime rib is perfectly seasoned with a nice crust. I usually order my steaks medium rare, and they've always come out just right, except for one time when I got an end piece that I sent back. They quickly replaced it and agreed that it was more medium than rare. The jalapeño poppers are delicious, and the house salad is equally tasty. I always get the hashbrowns as a side, while my friend usually gets the brussels sprouts and the au gratin. I've never tried anything else, but I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you order. But the pie is the star of the show! Get the French Silk pie, made from scratch by the owner. The crust has just the right amount of saltiness to complement the rich chocolate mousse filling. The mousse isn't too dense, but it's not as light as meringue either. If you're a chocolate lover, you absolutely must try it. Pro tip: If you're there on a busy night, it might be a good idea to order your pie when you order your food. I did this one night because I was dreaming of the pie all week, and I'm so glad I did. Unfortunately, they ran out by the time the rest of our table ordered dessert, but my waiter had set aside my piece just for me, so I was able to enjoy it.

The starter of duck wontons did not disappoint, they were cooked perfectly and a nice way to begin our meal on a tasty note! We will definitely be back whenever we find ourselves meandering through the bluffs in search of Amish baskets and a relaxing weekend!

When we found this place, we decided to try it out. We didn't know that there was a bit of a gravel path to reach the restaurant but I promise ... it's worth it. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the bartender (I'm sorry but I stupidly forgot her name!) and she was so funny and we bonded immediately being both boy moms. She was beyond knowledgeable of the food and drink menu which is always a huge plus! When we got our food, it was PERFECT. My husband and I are both foodies and I have had countless steaks in my life, but this hands down was THE BEST filet I have ever had. The owner Roumel, who is also the head chef, table touched which is unheard of now a days and we started talking about me being from Cleveland and him being from Chicago and next thing I know we're comparing our 2016 World Series notes. His wife Jilaine told us all about the story behind the restaurant and what encouraged them to buy it and the passion behind both of their words were so genuine that you could tell they took pride in their staff, restaurant and food.
