The Sickening: We were seated where we could see the pick up counter and salad bar. Near the end of the night the server was filling up the salad bar. She was using her BARE HANDS to fill the containers. And then it really got gross... she used her TEETH to tear open a bag of hard-boiled eggs... um thanks for getting your mouth juice on the top of the bag and every egg that passes through the opening. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are logs decorated with wildlife pictures and a fireplace with mounted animal heads over the fireplace. It is a very comfortable environment. When we found this place, we decided to try it out. We didn't know that there was a bit of a gravel path to reach the restaurant but I promise ... it's worth it. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the bartender (I'm sorry but I stupidly forgot her name!) and she was so funny and we bonded immediately being both boy moms. She was beyond knowledgeable of the food and drink menu which is always a huge plus! When we got our food, it was PERFECT. My husband and I are both foodies and I have had countless steaks in my life, but this hands down was THE BEST filet I have ever had. The owner Roumel, who is also the head chef, table touched which is unheard of now a days and we started talking about me being from Cleveland and him being from Chicago and next thing I know we're comparing our 2016 World Series notes. His were obviously better, but it was such a wholesome conversation! His wife Jilaine told us all about the story behind the restaurant and what encouraged them to buy it and the passion behind both of their words were so genuine that you could tell they took pride in their staff, restaurant and food.
