Passing through and decided to stop in. The vibes were so chill and all the staff were so nice. It was super busy but food came out pretty quick. The cheese curds were delicious and so was the WTF Burger. The fries that came with the burger were pretty boring and flavorless but I was so full by the time I got to them it didn't really matter. Really good selection of beers, one of the best Hefeweizen I've had.

Brisket, burnt ends, and a brisket sandwich.

Very friendly staff. Clean and good food. Good brisket sandwiches and cole slaw. Small but nice selection of craft beers.

Great locally owned (nearly 25 years!) dive bar and grill here in Dorchester, IA. Stop in for a…read morequick meal on the road or stay for a bit and become fast friends with the owner and friendly customers. Reasonably priced and good and fast service. Weekend specials (Thursday - Sunday) are popular, so must be good. I was there mid week and just grabbed the shrimp basket and a beer - $13 plus tip. Owner says they hope to retire within the next 6 months, so check it out soon and if you're interested in buying/operating, there's opportunity!

This appears like a small Iowa town where everyone knows everyone and many are probably related. This translates into a friendly experience and a very informal atmosphere. The food is excellent. My wife and I agreed we had never tasted better ham. There were many other items at this level of excellence. We gave the food an A+. Price for the buffet was almost too low for this type of eating establishment, even in Iowa. There is plenty of room in the restaurant, thanks to a nice size side dining room. Beware, this appears to be a busy place, so expect a crowd. Our waiter was a pleasant gentleman perhaps in his older teens. Only negative was the men's room needed cleaning. Looked like it was still dirty from perhaps the previous day.
