He used to 'pretend' to take me to coffee with his little play cars and now he's somehow old enough to do so! This was Great location, the staff was friendly and helpful, our drinks were delicious. He got a smoothie and I got the caramel high rise. (Kind of like a caramel macchiato but better). I've got three more sons so we may have to make this coffee spot a tradition.

He asked if I was from Faribault and when I mentioned I was there for an interview he was really encouraging which actually meant a lot. The place itself has such a cozy small-town feel. It wasn't busy yet since I got there around 9 a.m. so it was nice and peaceful. The decor is adorable and they also have a fun little grab-and-go/shop area with things like soaps, kids items, snacks, and random cute finds to browse while waiting. Food was hot, good, and affordable too. I got the Chicken Fried Steak and a Monte Cristo sandwich. Then of course I somehow left with a slice of cake AND another meal because one of the workers pointed at it and said it was really good. Zero regrets honestly. Definitely the kind of place that just feels welcoming the second you walk in.

My daughters and I visited this place and got our drinks then some croissants and cheesecake to go…read more Both my daughters ordered the blueberry cherry smoothie but it was so full of seeds that the both threw it away. Not sure where the seeds came from unless they ground up the cherry pit. I didn't think much about that. But when we returned home and went to eat the croissant there was a shard of glass in it. I called Bubble bay they offered a refund and said the glass must have come from the bakery in Burnsville where they get the croissants.. but the glass was not in the croissant itself it was in the filling of the croissant that bubble bay adds. The lady on the phone told me I would receive my refund in 3-5 days. Day 6 I messaged them back because I hadn't received my refund.. she then asked for the last 4 digits of my credit card I used. I messaged them with that but now my messages are going unread. I do not live in Faribault to just run in and get the refund. So disappointed in my whole experience.

My meal: seasoned perfectly, real mashed potatoes, great portion of beef, thick gravy - all-in-all an excellent dish Taco salad: not overwhelmed with lettuce, right amount of spice, shell was excellent, great beef, just the right size Ambiance: Just like a small coffee shop. Very nicely arranged. Enough room to get around. Servers: well, we had Tony, one of the owners as our server. He was awesome as you would expect from the proprietor. But watching the other staff showed the same care and report with the patrons. Speed/Price: amazingly quick kitchen. All was served hot. Price is not out of line. Roast beef was $13.99 and taco salad was $14.99. With the portions you get it was well priced we thought. The waiter was awkward and really into my personal space. He was nice, but not competent. Our food did come quickly once we ordered. The eggs Benedict were good and the fruit was fresh and not just pineapples lol. My friend liked her waffle and eggs, but the bacon was sorely undercooked. The only reason she didn't send it back was because she didn't really want it anyway. It probably would have taken another 30 minutes to get someone's attention to redo it. They actually scan at $4.99! ....that is a huge savings if you are a chocolate fan. you can get a shower here for $8 that's a lot cheaper than at Pilot and TA truck stops!
