The food is always amazing and such large portions too. After trying the cookie dough flurry, I knew I'd be back. My family and I now frequent it. Definitely worth the drive. The blugoo cone, strawberry shakes, the hot fudge sundae and of course the pup cups for the dogs were especially delicious today. The pumpkin spice was amazing too. The service is always great and the location next to the River and bridge is very relaxing. They do have some seating too which is nice while you wait. Wait isn't too bad even when there's a line. First time there. The service was lightning fast. My bride doesn't handle soft-serve well, so it was a huge plus to see they also served hard-serve ice-cream. First trip this year, things have gone from the best to the worst. Chocolate malt like thick soup, absolutely no malt taste. Can only assume they skipped the malt powder and used too much milk. Ordered a flurry ( DQ lingo Blizzard) with "just" M&M's and Banana, they added chocolate syrup and Imitation M&Ms. Overfilled cup melting before even they handed it to me. Extra large servings of melting ice cream overflowing the cup just makes a big mess. Lots of staff visible, but it seemed like they were seeing who could wait on the fewest customers.
