Monti Christo is great. It's a homey cafe with a full menu. Friendly people. Antique decoration with hometown art on the wall.

Update your online information to reflect your current data and hours of operation. I was in Waseca from out of town and was looking for a non-chain coffee shop. All information on your website and in Maps indicates you are open on Mondays, even having a lunch special, but got to the building and discovered that's not true. Not a good look for the business. read more

Just passing through town and decided to try this place for breakfast. The waitress completely forgot that I ordered coffee. It took a half hour to get my food. There was mold on my toast, and the steak I ordered was hard and dry. Needless to say, I DO NOT recommend! read more

Its in a basement of an old building Lil on the Dark Side.. could use some kind of Natural lighting. Waitress waa so sweet.. left receipt behind didnt catch her name. Came in for breakfast and had the biscuits and gravy. They were pretty tasty. The atmosphere is nice, I liked the painting of cars around the walls. The waitress was nice and friendly. To get to the place you have to take the stairs or elevator down to the basement. read more

Doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a cute spot with pretty good food and pretty good coffee. Not many spots in smallerish towns will do nondairy milk for lattes to go but they do! (Service is usually slow but I don't mind waiting most times since it's a cool spot anyways also v nice staff) read more

Jonnie Beans is a large Internet coffee and wine bar located in the basement of the historical Miller-Armstrong building near the center of town. They do serve food as well and have a pretty impressive menu. Some of the highlights of this place, besides the free wi-fi, consists of: -coffee and espresso drinks -breakfast foods -sandwiches -salads -homemade soups -smoothies -Italian sodas -plush oversized seating area -large dining area I ordered the veggie panini (pesto, cucumber, tomato, provolone, onions and more on a flat grilled panini) and a salad (fresh green leaf salad with cheese and croutons) My husband had a nutella banana sandwich and a egg crossiant sandwich with a side of sausage. I waited to review Jonnie Beans because I really wanted to give a great review. It has all the elements of a great breakfast spot. But after multiple visits the best I can do is 2 stars. And this is primarily a front of house problem. The service is horrible. Even when the place is virtually empty its virtually impossible to get prompt service. It's good they drop a full pot of coffee at your table because the next time you see wait staff your cup would be dry. Our last (and I do mean last) visit we waited 40 minutes for food. It arrived stone cold. The waitress did apologize and offer to take it back, but no way did we wish to wait any longer. They did not charge us for our meals. But I want to pay. Pay for hot food that comes reasonably quickly. read more

The coffee is decent, the food is fine... But I've gone there twice now to work outside of my home office, AND CAN'T GET ON THE INTERNET! The gal behind the counter said that some computers work, some don't (?!). I just wasted an hour of my morning--and am really unhappy about that. Seriously, if you want a quiet place to hang out with friends, this is a great place. But a coffee shop without internet available is just plain irritating. read more

I would say this is the best breakfast for the value in town. A loaded omelette with hash browns and pancakes for under 10 bucks! They don't skimp on anything. I don't drink coffee and I don't need their internet, so I focus on the food. Give it a try! read more

I do not recommend this restaurant. The management was rude and literally turned customers away. I stopped in for a sales call (my job) and I was told to please exit the restaurant immediately. This woman had no idea that I was also planning to stay and eat. I call on restaurants every day for my job and I have never met such a rude person. The true character of a business owner or manager is and how they treat every single person who walks through their door. They should assume everyone is a potential guest in the restaurant. I am also a part time server and would never treat one of my guests with the rudeness that this woman did to me. read more

Our favorite breakfast stop! We drive 20 miles each way but always worth the trip. Food is great and the staff is always hometown friendly.

Beautiful building, comfy seating, free wifi, good food and great service. Only downside... gas station/diner coffee.

My wife and I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
