Second time visiting here and I absolutely love it! They have PLENTY of vegan/non dairy options which is AMAZING. Their root beer float brings back memories for me so it's a must when I stop here. The oatmeal chocolate chip cookie ice cream was good but too sweet for my liking. Prices are also reasonable + there's seating in/outside. Located down riverfront dr, this is the perfect place to bring your: family, friends, or a date for the perfect sweet concoction. There flavors are funky and different and delicious. They have a big selection of non-dairy as well as gluten free. They have multiple options as far as scoops in a cup or cone. Furthermore, if you cannot make up your mind, they also just rolled out the option of getting an ice cream flight!! The experience overall was great. Staff is friendly, ice cream is delicious, and this is just a great place to come and have an evening sweet treat. Yummy! This was exactly what we were looking for on our last day in Mankato. A sweet treat with unique flavors and great service! I got a double of This Just Got Real (salted caramel pecan goodness--highly recommend) and Zanzibar chocolate (so rich so good). For $5 it's a huge portion--I recommend sharing! The selection was vast, and they had everything from soy based to sherbet to creamy decadence. I prefer the latter. Cute spaces to sit and enjoy inside and outside (flowers and greenery). They had games to play, free dog treats, and sink for kids to wash hands too! Workers were super friendly and had great recommendations for which flavors they liked best. I've been getting around to ice cream shops this summer, so I pretty much immediately recognized the selection as being from the Madison WI based Chocolate Shoppe. And that's a very good thing. As a nice twist, every cup comes with a piece of waffle cone on the side. There is a small kids cup with not extra waffle piece, but my three year old didnt care so I didnt have to share mine.
