Really good coffee and tea and their customer service is top notch. I just had one of their basic drinks before getting ready for convention and it gave me the energy to keep going and get it done.

This is one of the best hidden gems of the area. Vegan options, stellar coffee, great service, you literally can't ask for more. We had such a great experience we stopped before traveling out of town a second time that same morning. Seriously, this place deserves nothing but praises and you need to get a coffee here. Don't bother with Dunkin, this place is the real deal.

Stopped by to try this small coffee shop and loved it. Drink menu has plenty of options and highlights their seasonal/specialty drinks. Food menu has something for everyone, with all fresh food. In addition, they have local items by counter and a fridge with even more food choices to purchase ala carte. Service was great, as the employee taking our order was patient as we made our selection and the items did not take long to be ready. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

St. Peter only has one cafe downtown, and fortunately for its residents, it is absolutely wonderful. The space is sparsely decorated but still adorable, with a good amount of seating despite its size. Their seasonal drink menus are so creative and delicious. The food menu is small but excellent, with a great selection of baked goods (try the rosemary, rye, and dark chocolate chip cookie to have your mind blown), as well as delicious breakfast and lunch options (they make the best tuna melt I have ever had). Lastly, their staff is incedible. Everyone I have encountered here is so sweet, patient, and helpful, even at their busiest. Whenever I have friends or family visit, River Rock is a must as far as local spots to take them.

Love this little shop in St. Peter; undoubtedly the best coffee shop in town. Friendly staff and a cute & cozy atmosphere. If you want a good coffee or tea when you're in St. Peter, this is the place to stop.

Super cute well lit coffee shop. They serve breakfast, lunch, beer, wine, and of course coffee! Seating in the front and the back, calming and relaxing music. Great place to meet family/friends and/or study. At the end of our visit they walked around with a free sample of their scones, so good!

We really love this cute indy coffee shop! We have stopped here many times driving from SE SD to Minneapolis. I'm glad they survived the pandemic. My husband has always loved their tuna sammy. And this time, I tried their sweet cardamom latte, it was so yummy!

Located in a busy street. Takes both cash and credit card. Free parking on the side of the building. This is a great local coffee shop in town. There is plenty of table and seating for customers. There is also free WiFi for paid customers. We came here as we were passing through town. This coffee shop has lot of options from coffee, tea, smoothies and fresh juices. They also have a wide variety of milk which you should ask the barista. We ordered their Hibiscus Ginger drink and the Lavender latte. Both were delicious and recommend them both. The staff here were very friendly and accommodating when we later discovered that one of my party had an issue with a particular milk. The staff was friendly enough to make our order again with a different dairy. The interior of the establishment is nice and the big open windows brings in a lot of nature lighting. Recommend folks to come here when driving through this town. The store also sells clothes and mugs. Definitely worth checking out!

Great coffee shop- worth a stop if you're passing through. The dough dough loaves are fabulous and only 4.50! Locally owned.

Grumpy staff and overpriced. Skip this place. I was sorry I went there. Great location, but that's where the good stuff ends.

One young lady in the kitchen announced "I'm going on break". After waiting for a while longer an older lady who was delivering a meal to customers who were waiting inside asked if we had been help. And when my Dad owned an operated a gas station in Iowa (Brink Oil Company - Estherville Iowa) growing up, 35 cents a gallon (or gas war pricing at 19 cents) was a clear memory. Question: Why is gasoline still priced with 9/10 of a cent added on? I share my Dad's love of driving and tend to fill up at the last minute. My friend Bob Merrill reminds me of the time that we ran out just a few miles short of Fairmont MN, but my favorite memory was gliding in an Omaha-area gas station just as the fuel-staved engine cut out. Gayle won't put up with that nonsense, so I'm usually looking to fill up when the needle drifts a little below half. On our recent trip back to the Twin Cities (from Spirit Lake), I chose this Speedway because it was time, and my current bias is that larger independent chains (like Speedway, Maverick, or Kwik Star) might be cheaper or at least have clean restrooms and nice selections at their Mini-Mart. And this Speedway delivered on all cylinders. In this case, it also turned out that the next gas station down the road (or at least visible from the highway) was at least a few miles away. Maybe something cheaper would have come up, but in the end, a gas station is basically a gas station, especially when they're open when you need them. I may be charging up my next car (here or elsewhere), but for legacy reasons alone, these places will be around a good deal longer.
