I asked a couple people in town who had the best burger in town and both people said High Court pub had their pub burger . Have to say was super excited to have a delicious burger. Unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. It was all right as in not good not great just all right but Staff was nice. And it was a nice and clean atmosphere inside. Just wish my burger was better. For $15 I expect a good burger you would think it would've came with tater tots or fries instead of a cheap bag of potato chips that weren't great or even homemade chips. read more

Small place, much of the seating is upstairs but lots of space in the summer. Very good burgers (including bun, bacon and pickle!) and friendly bartender/staff. Cons are just a fairly limited menu but they have specials and a limited menu means the food comes out more quickly. Music on the back patio in the summer, one large group space upstairs that will seat quite a few but i dont know what it takes to use that space - there was a group when we were there. read more

With a beautiful river side setting and ample pours of wine, this was a great stop. We sat in their covered outdoor patio which was a bit out of the breeze on a cool night. A perfect setting to enjoy the pepperoni flat bread and some Buffalo chicken wings. I would not recommend the wings but the flat bread was excellent, cheesy and crispy with lots of toppings. You order at the counter, get a number, then they bring your food out to your table. Service is quick and friendly. After dinner, people were gathering on the patio so we walked down the stairs to see what was going on. It was trivia night! The theme was Football and Fantasy. It was so fun! The host was fun and engaging and the question were challenging. We only had two people on our team and other teams had quite a few more (6 was the limit). We ended up getting 4th and received a crazy trophy. What a fun way to hang in a small town. read more

Best burger on the planet. I had a gluten free bun and it didn't fall apart like alot of them do!

We stopped by this pub on a Saturday morning during the filthy 50 bike ride. They have a great ambiance and atmosphere. We had a great Bloody Mary complete with all the fixings. There were two bartenders on this day and they were flying around...very busy. Through it all the bartenders were very kind and talkative. We liked it so much we returned in the afternoon to have a couple flatbread pizzas and to play some bean bags, jenga and hammerschlagen which they had on the back patio. The pizzas weren't life changing but decent. We had the chicken bacon ranch and artichoke spinach. They could have had a bit more flavor for sure. Overall I highly recommend this lovely pub in the heart of Lanesboro...an idyllic Minnesota town if for no other reason than the location and the service. read more

My family and I rolled into Lanesboro for a long weekend and were starving at 8:15 when most places were closed or not serving food. A kind wine bar owner pointed us to High Court Pub for flatbreads bday wings and we were thrilled to find good food, outstanding drinks, and a live band with no cover! I accidentally ate all 12 of the wings before remembering to take a photo (sorry) but they were really delicious! They were smaller in size and extremely flavorful. If you are a fan of slightly firmer, non-soggy wings then you'll love these! I want a drier, crispy sauce texture versus the really fatty wings and these were perfect for me. The Buffalo sauce was baked on and very good! We tried the UKRANIAN mules, which I would have ordered regardless on principle alone but the Toodeloo flavor was nice with the light whiskey and honey. My husband liked his Old Fashioned, a little on the lighter side, and we really appreciated the $8 per drink cost! We'll be back tomorrow, this place exceeded all expectations and the live music was the icing on the cake. read more

So happy this pub was open and able to serve quite a few people since at least TWO places (Juniper and Peddle Pushers) BOTH CLOSED at lunch on Wednesday 8/30. Both websites said they were open. Quite a few bikers that day looking for lunch. A coffee shop and the HighCourt came to the rescue. Lanesboro could use more places that are actually open for lunch during summer. Thanks High Court. Luckily, I've had the chance to go to the High Court pub several times now and every time seems to get better than the time before, which is hard to believe!! I was able to stop in one weekend before Covid for bloody Mary's and then afterwards for some beers and then last time I was there for a retirement party with live music and most recently we went in on a Thursday early evening and had some beers at the bar along with a refreshing long island ice tea made with sugar grove pop. The last time I was there I had the pretzel bites which were super Duper and they are dairy free!! Unless you want to put the amazingly delicious cheese sauce on them. Their flatbread pizzas are also very good and I like the variety of options they have which includes Thai, meats, margarita, and the list goes on. I love all of the different local beers that they have on tap and their Moscow Mule's. They always seem to have something fun happening whether it's trivia, open mic, live music and on and on. Been here twice and both times have been so much fun. There's live music, decent selection of beers (for a decent price), free popcorn, and great flatbread (and decent wings). During the summertime, the patio is open with a beautiful view of the river. Service is great and bartenders are always friendly. The flatbreads were really tastey and the bings had good flavor (a lot of meat on the bone). Beer was cold.

Terrible service, sub par food. Not terribly busy yet had to ask to have a table cleared to be seated. Make all the food ahead of time then just bake so everything is a bit "off" and not customizable. Bar staff hostile and gave off vibe like they didn't want us there. Seemed only interested in talking among their own friends seated at the bar. Crostini was beyond stale. Shocked they've managed to stay in business with this kind of standard. read more

This pub is a stylish, clean, and inviting place, with seating both downstairs and up, and two outdoor spaces, one right on the river. The bartenders know how to make a good drink, and perhaps, in my situation, too good! It's the bartenders and owners that make this place really special, and here's why... after a really fun night of excellent service and good conversation, I went home thinking my boyfriend had my phone and card in his pocket. He didn't. The next morning, Lou just happened to be in, even though it was closed. She made it her mission to find my effects. I'm not kidding, she even donned a pair of gloves and headed to the dumpsters just in case it got thrown away! Considering that the night crew left the place spotless, anything was possible. In the end, she found it tucked away in the safest of places, because her staff take far better care of my things than I do. Two added bonuses that really have me convinced that these are the best people on earth: the funny pictures that ended up on my phone and the drink token slipped in with my card. Spent the evening at the High Court Pub in Lanesboro. Food selection is limited to flat bread pizzas but the atmosphere makes up for it. Tues nights are trivia nights and a large crowd showed up to play. We made some acquaintances through the game that probably wouldn't have happened otherwise. This was my first time in Lanesboro and I was blown away by the hospitality of the whole town and especially the High Court Pub. This place was the definition of lit! Luis the bartender is the man!! He made me feel right at home, let me sample some of the new pumpkin spice liquor, and created a custom hot cocoa drink for me. He even gave me the leftovers of a delicious salmon pizza. Because I sang a solo karaoke song (Mariah Carey), I got a free shot and hot tank! I then got another free drink, because one of the workers liked my Mariah Carey solo so much. Talk about a wild night!! I will definitely be coming back here the next time I am in Lanesboro. In fact, I may even make a special trip all the way back to Lanesboro just to visit this pub. read more

Very cool little bar. Two stories and right on main street. Beers where good and servers where nice. It was fairly busy so the food took a very long time. At of our group actually canceled there orders after we were there for 2 hours. I'd come back if it wasn't busy or wanted food. My reuben was delicious but not not worth the wait. read more

Very good food, we had 4 different flatbreads they were all very good . We had a chocolate mint hot winter drink its was a fancy presentations up to rim of the cup and very tasty.
