I finally gave up on CVS and walked into the 24-hour Walgreens on Hageman last night completely fed up. Catherine took one look at my history today; instantly knew the real issue (Medi-Cal refuses the combo Prempro pill but covers the estrogen and progestin separately), cancelled the problematic gel script the night staff had tried, switched me to Premarin 0.3 mg tablets (which is straight-covered, no prior-auth or override needed), and had it approved and ready at $0.00 in less than an hour -- all by herself, no phone calls to the doctor, no waiting until Monday. Night staff had been confused and kept pushing the gel route, but Catherine fixed the entire mess in one visit on a Saturday. She's knowledgeable, fast, and actually cares about getting people their meds the same day. Over time its gotten way worse. 1st of all the store has almost everything under lock and key. They have a system that notify you when your prescription is ready. Well I get the notification two days ago, come in and they never filled the prescription for my new heart medication. Do they think the doctor didn't request the meds because we need them, so fill the script. If your overwhelmed with customers hire more help. This is crazy. Then when you get notified do you still want the medication? Well what the heck I came two days ago when they said it was ready and it wasnt so of course yes I want it I need it. So I hate having to wait in line for 1/2 an hour tons of customers are tired of waiting but Im still here waiting. I even have a card on file for payment. There should be an express area for pick up. I cant get it delivered because Im an insurance patient with good insurance and I guess you can only get free delivery if your on medical or something like that. Us insurance patients have to pay for delivery. This is a joke and it sucks going to look into other means of getting my regular medications with my insurance carrier.

I was nervous because I have a lot of fragile and valuable items like paintings, canvases, multiple monitors, a full desk setup, and art supplies that I've collected over years. Moving all of that is stressful no matter what but these guys made it genuinely easy. What stood out most was how attentive the team was from the very first minute. They walked in and immediately started asking questions about what needed special attention, how I wanted things wrapped, what order I wanted things loaded. They didn't just grab stuff and throw it on the truck, they actually listened and followed every instruction without me having to repeat myself. As an artist that meant everything to me because I've had movers in the past who treated my paintings like crap. The speed was also impressive!! I fully expected the move to take most of the day but they were efficient without ever feeling rushed or careless. They had a system and worked together well, I was able to finish up some work while they were doing their thing. When we got to the new studio nothing was damaged, nothing was missing, and everything was placed exactly where I asked. The whole experience from start to finish was smooth and professional. If you're in LA and you have valuable or fragile items and you need movers who will actually treat your stuff with care, don't overthink it. Rigos is the move. I'll definitely be using them again. They started great! I was ready to give them 5 stars, but the ending has been so purely bad…read more. So they got to my bed, and first they broke a slat bringing it into the house from the truck. Then the movers decided to not disassemble it before bringing it up the stairs. They banged my walls quite a bit before realizing they'd need to disassemble it anyways. So they did, but when they put it back together they used power tools. I didn't know any better (although they, the professionals, should!), but apparently that's a big no-no because you can easily strip the wood, and that's exactly what they did. Also apparently they didn't put it back together properly because i found one of its bolts lying on the ground after they left, not sure where that goes. But ultimately the bed frame was damaged, and now i need a new bed frame. Randomly, they also damaged the sliders on one of my dresser drawers. Luckily my boyfriend was able to fix it, so I didnt need reimbursement, just adding to give a picture of their carelessness. The movers went back to their truck as I called their manager, Martha, about the damage. Martha quoted me their $0.60 per pound reimbursement policy for damaged property. But then offered me a $25 discount. I said $0.60 on a 216.5lbs bed is $129.90. She said the movers told her it was 150lbs. (they were ignoring the headboard and storage drawers, but if I have to replace the bed, I also lose the headboard and drawers??) so she offered $50, then $60. But the $0.60 per pound for the 150 lbs she *thought* it was is still $90... so these offers were dishonest on her part, and honestly a little insulting. The movers wouldn't leave until payment was processed, so after a particularly stressful phone call with her I processed payment with the $60 discount with the understanding that I would email their claims dept for the rest of the money back. I emailed saying I wanted the rest of the $69.90, and they offered $40 in return for a 5 star review. I'm not sure why they thought I would think them stiffing my request by almost 50% in exchange for a dishonest recounting of my experience was a fair deal... but I decided losing out on $40 was worth my honesty, and them getting the review they deserve. P.s. they tried to say because my bed was 10 years old, the overall condition would have been affected. So they tried to make me think them stripping the wood with power tools is an age issue, and not a them using power tools issue?? My bed was working just fine before they broke it, thanks very much.

I asked how much for all three boards and they quoted me $41. 61. I'm new to buying wood so I figured that was a normal price. I didn't check the receipt after I'd paid (my fault) and I went home happy and excited to make stuff. It wasn't until a few days later that I found my receipt and saw they'd charged me $416.14 for three boards. These prices are far above the national average for wood and they don't post prices at the rack. Had I bought these boards anywhere else I would have paid far less. An example, I paid $21.60 a linear foot for the walnut. That's about $32.40 a board foot. S2S online is $14.99 a board foot. I paid more than double to have two extra sides surfaces and sanded. My whole purchase should have costed less than $200. I can't speak for the rest of their merchandise, but if you're buying hardwood don't go here. Update: Brisco True Value in AG charges $11.99 a bd ft for walnut, $6.15 for maple, and $7.59 for cherry. My purchase there would have been approximately $171.53 before taxes and fees for the amount I purchased. I will be shopping there from now on.
