Everyone is generally unpleasant to communicate with if you're lucky enough to communicate with them at all when I finally got a hold of somebody he was extraordinarily unhelpful. I had a B&O subwoofer buzzing. So I made an appointment to get it checked out for warranty work. Well I took off the morning from work and they weren't prepared for a basic check. They said I could drop it off and it would be one or two days. Basically piling in the work on a Monday and we'll get around to it. They were also fresh out of "loaners" on a big dealership. Thanks I'll save money and just buy one. Warranty doesn't mean crap, unless I can be without a vehicle for a few days. I'll remember that with my next Ford...I mean Toyota. read more

I bought a new Ranger from them late 2024 - from the start their service is just the worst I have experienced over the last 30+ years of owning vehicles. They do not pick up the phone, do not reply to messages, do not get back via text, and when they do treat you like crap. No one there seems to care about their customers in the least. Even an email to the owner pleading for help to get my truck's window fixed went unanswered. I regret wholeheartedly buying my vehicle from them and would save others the horrible experience. They did have are van for over two months- but a lot of that had to do with the warranty company not wanting to pay!! I got a coupon for my oil change so I decided to take it to the dealership instead of Take 5 this time. I called a few days ahead of time to make an appointment. I left a message and my call was returned the same day. I was given the option because I was within 10 miles to have a tech come out and do my oil change and inspections on site. I declined due to my schedule and made an appointment to come in. When I brought the car in everything was going well. The service advisors checked me in and led me inside to sit. I was able to do some work thanks to the free WiFi. Two hours later Im running late for work and I asks about my car. It was going to be another 20-25 minutes. I had to take a Lyft to work. That they covered since my car wasn't ready. When I returned my car was ready and all I could think was I should have taken it to Take 5. I can only Imagine how long it would have taken if I had gotten my tires rotated. read more

Just repeated missteps with the service department compel me to discontinue using Pearson. The final straw: 1. I call 10 days in advance to get appt 2. We list the three services to perform 3. I drive up from greenwood , because skillman is horrible, the night before 4. I then call at about 2 pm and they haven't worked on it because they don't know what to do 5. Update: I recently received a phone call from the owner of Pearson Ford. After a pleasant conversation about customer service, the situation and business, he left me feeling better about the situation. He both remedied this mess with HIS customer service and financially. I've updated this because a few shouldn't ruin things for the larger whole. That said, if I do return I'd be asking for a different service manager. Original: Absolutely do not go here for service. Long story short, they told my husband they were putting new tires on the back. Two months and one flat later, I find out that they moved our front tires to the back and put new ones on the front. On top of that, the lug nut was on too tight for two guys from AAA to get it off with all their equipment. Once I contacted them for information/help on this tire issue, they tried to blow me off, said that the new place I took my car was lying to me, and that I had to personally contact the tire company. I then had to continue to bother them to see if they'd do anything about the situation (there was a lot more that I haven't included). They told me it was a clerical error... Look for somewhere else to go. Not only was their service shoddy, but their customer service was awful. I will give props to two management people, but by the end of the whole saga they too seemed sick of dealing with me. read more

***DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE***I dont usually leave reviews (good or bad), unless the service was outstanding, or absolutely terrible. Unfortunately, in this case, the service was terrible. I brought my car in three days ago for a Ford "multipoint inspection", where they supposedly inspect your car from top to bottom, check your tires, your breaks, your windshield wipers, the oil, and things like leaks and stuff. Basically, a thorough inspection meant to identify any issue early, before it becomes a major problem. I waited in the waiting room for an hour and a half while they were working on my car. When they got done, the guy didnt tell me, so I was still waiting until I got tired of waiting, and walked up to the service desk. And he told me that he forgot to let me know. At Walmart, you get a text message when they are done with your car. Anyway, my car passed the inspection with flying colors, except for my brakes that needed to be replaced. But even though my "check engine light" was on, they never checked the issue. The next day when I went to Belle Tire to have my brakes replaced and coolant flushed, they told me that my coolant was seriously leaking on the engine, which explained why my car had overheated just a few days ago. And a different Ford dealership confirmed the leak, and quoted over $500 to fix it (see photo). So PEARSON FORD's multipoint inspection a day before did NOT identify a major leak in my vehicle. They are either lying about actually doing an inspection, or their technicians are completely incompetent. I went there, and complained, but the service guy couldnt explain how a car with a huge coolant leak passed a multipoint inspection just a day before. And they refused to let me speak with a manager so I could voice my complaints. That's awful customer service. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE FOR SERVICE. read more

I've been bringing my Escape Hybrid for service here since I bought it in 2005 at a dealership in Illinois. I have been pleased over the years with their straightforward approach to service with no apparent attempts to sell me extra, and likely unnecessary services. I usually make my service appointments for first thing in the morning and just wait while they work on my vehicle. The free wifi is good, and the waiting area and restrooms are clean. I bring my laptop and work while I wait. Typically my vehicle is ready around noon, and so, yes, that means I'm typically working in their waiting room for about 4 hours when I bring my vehicle in for maintenance, but given that I have a hybrid, I feel more comfortable coming here for anything more complicated than oil changes or tire rotations. The only glitches I've run into over the years involve communication between schedulers and the service advisors. I always tell whomever I speak with why I'm bringing the vehicle in, and this isn't always passed along to the service advisors. On one occasion, after driving here for an appointment, I was told they couldn't do the work I needed because it involved the exhaust system. I wish the person answering the phones had known they don't do exhaust system work. That was a wasted trip and wasted time off from work. The website doesn't always work in terms of getting information to the service advisors either. The service advisors have noted they don't get updates from there unless the appointments are scheduled a week or more out. Oh, and there is a cockatiel that lives here. It's usually in the sales area, but on one visit it walked over into the service waiting area. It's a very cute and friendly bird; it's an unusual but nice touch! read more

What an absolute travesty of a Service department. It was such a pleasure to make an online appointment two weeks in advance only to be advised they cannot help you when you show up for the appointment. No call ahead to reschedule, just a surprise look that you showed up. I guess it makes more sense not to forecast and properly handle appointments. They told me they have people waiting for days for service. There was not even an attempt to reschedule then, just sorry, can't help. I expressed my displeasure with this and advised of my concern for safety on what the car was doing. Without going into detail my transmission has been lurching and slamming into gear. The manager heard my concerns and advised they would get it in to be looked at, you know being a safety concern and all. When no one called me later, I decided to call towards the of the day to get an update and next steps. I got the additional pleasure of sitting on hold for 30 minutes only to be told they can't get anyone in the service department to pick up. Informed them that I was on my way to pick up my car and wanted it ready out front. Picked up my car and decided to pull my dashcam footage. It was amazing to find that my car sat in the parking lot all day. No one even looked at it. If Pearson can't competently handle service appointments, I wonder what attention they provide to your vehicle when they do work on it. Total loss of confidence. Hopefully Ford can direct me to a reputable Ford service department for my bumper to bumper warranty issue. read more

So, within 27 days of my last review, I have to have the entire transnational replaced, including the part Pearson was supposed to have fixed over a month ago. The new dealer said there was metal in my fluids, complete breakdown of the part which was fixed by Pearson, which also caused the rest of my transmission to fail along with all 3 sensors. It was so bad, my warranty agreed to not make me go back to Pearson and have it fixed by the new place. Shameful!!! read more

I had my car serviced about a month ago. Just needed the back hinges replaced on my back window of my escape. In the process my window was scratched in multiple spots. The service manager TJ stated they would take care of it since it was their fault. About two weeks later I finally called to get an update and they told me he quit. Now the new manager Liz stated they won't fix it. Nothing but poor communication and poor management. Very disappointed and I DO NOT recommend going to this location! read more

This is not just a bad service complaint. It's a warning. Made an appointment to have the transmission checked to see if it just needed service prior to the normal interval due to the towing we do, or if there was another issue. Also asked for an oil change and to check one recall. Was told it would take a "day or two." Not what I was originally told, but I was okay with an extra day. Four days go by, and I called the service manager. Was told they would get it done that day. I get notified later that the transmission was serviced and they were just waiting for the oil change and recall check. I had been told all week that they were waiting on the transmission tech for that, but assumed they could have fit in 30 minutes to do the other work in that 4 days. I go to pick it up, oil had not been changed, recall not checked, but they assured me the transmission filter and fluid had been changed. That turned out to be a flat-out lie to my face. Reported to Ford Corporate, The Attorney General and now Carfax because they were dumb enough to enter the service they didn't do on the Carfax report and actually sent me a copy of it. Not only horrible service in general, but borderline if not actually criminal fraud. Beware, you have been duly warned. read more

Not good experience with Quick Lane. After a week they finally called back to schedule. By that time we went ahead and scheduled with Pearson Ford Service for the The Works package. Kyle finally offered a free oil change at quick lane instead. We were expecting the works package...but Kyle played the power role and said only the oil change was offered for free...not tire rotation. So during brake inspection they had to take wheels off to inspect brakes...but couldn't have the decency to move front tires to back position vice versa. Really Kyle! Poor customer service. I would rather have gone to Pearson Ford Service as originally scheduled. read more

I purchased a certified 2020 Ford Escape Sept of last year. I found it had a speaker that rattled badly every time the music hit bass notes. Also, the blind spot system gives false warnings constantly. I took into service for repairs. When I picked it up, I was told that no problem was found. On the way home, same problems. I went right back a few days later to complain. They ordered a speaker. When I called in December they said they didn't forget me, speaker didn't come in yet. In Feb. I found out from a source that they had it in stock. Still heard nothing. I finally got fed up and went to the dealership to complain. I was told they would check and give me a call this Wednesday. No call. Not surprised. Still no speaker installed since last November. I could probably get them to do the speaker now. More problems surfaced since then but I don't trust that they will repair those either. I'll get the "no problem found " routine. I will not take it back there for anything read more

I love this dealership and their service staff and recommend them 100%. The only recommendation is that they report repairs and service appointments to CARFAX and/or AutoCheck. I chose another local dealership to do recall work because I knew they would report the repairs to CARFAX and the experience was miserable (Tom Wood Ford). It is important for vehicle resale that these recall repairs are noted on reports for retail customers (when/if I decided to sell). I had a terrible experience with TWF. At the end of the day, customer experience wins. I had an appointment today with Pearson and I wasn't disappointed. I was greeted by a very enthusiastic service advisor (Haygood) and everything promised to me was completed and exceeded my expectations. I have purchased quite a few vehicles from Pearson, our most recent being a 2016 C-Max Energi. The team has always provided great service. Their service center is fantastic, and the Quick Lane is my go to stop for oil changes and other simple maintenance because they treat you better than any other shop I have been to. I look forward to many more year working with Pearson as our experience has been great, and even when there were a couple instances where things weren't going 100%, they let nothing stand in the way of getting things back on the right path. read more

Both my current and previous SUV came from Pearson. Though I probably won't buy another one unless Ford comes up with something that gets 40mpg, I have been happy with the sales and service I've received from this dealership. Most notably, the service staff is always very friendly, efficient and explains things well. Scott is usually who I deal with in the service department. The last time I took my vehicle in for routine maintenance, he told me the work would take about an hour to hour-and-a-half and he was right on target. I am very busy and appreciate that whenever I visit Pearson, they don't waste my time. We'd had some difficulties with the service department for our sports car (not Pearson, nor a Ford) in terms of ability to find and fix an intermittent yet very aggravating problem...this made me appreciate Pearson all the more. read more
