I had a new engine put in somewhere else, but started using Eagle. I noticed an oil leak and was told there were valve leaks from when Tom Wood put in the engine. Tom Wood said my vehicle was out of warranty (12k miles or one year and I work from home, so I didn't drive it often). I had Eagle do the valve work, with was over $800. A few months later, I noticed there was still oil leaking. I took it back and they said it wasn't the valves, but is now the top oil pan. I asked didn't they have to touch or remove the oil pan to do the valve work? They said no and said it would be another $800+ to repair. I talked to another mechanic and was told they absolutely had to remove the oil pan to do the valve work. So, my truck is leaking oil and loosing engine pressure because Eagle reduced to honor their warranty and wanted to milk me for money. Update after owners response: I took my vehicle back a few months later and that was the answer given. I did not drive for the majority of 2025 because of a hand injury. I'm writing this response now because of what I was told by a mechanic recently. If they look in their system, they will see they repaired my car and a few months later, I brought it back for a diagnostic because it was still leaking oil. I work from home and put very few miles on my car between 2020 and January 2026. read more

My car decided to stall on the way to work while driving it this morning. I was able to get it started and headed to another car shop down the road. They said they wouldn't even be able to look at it until Monday, so I remembered Eagle Auto which was half a mile away. I got there 10 minutes before they opened and was the first one in. Jessica helped me at the counter. She was absolutely phenomenal and LOVELY. She got my keys and said they'd have someone run diagnostics on it. I made my self comfortable and waited for about 45 mins until she came back with the results. Thankfully nothing popped up on their tests and she gave me my keys and said no charge. Wow. Just wow. Great service and they were so prompt. I told her that I would be giving them an awesome review- especially her help. I will most definitely be coming back (hopefully not too soon) when I'm in need of service. They also gave a ride to a gentleman that came a little after me. Very nice. Well stocked coffee bar and snacks. Jessica asked if I needed to do any work bc they have an office for people that work while they wait. How great is that? Thanks Eagle Auto for your kindness, thoroughness and promptness. read more

Amazing, ethical service on my Acura. I had a quote from the local Acura dealership which was going to be $600 for parts + labor. Eagle Auto identified that is was just a simple clip that needed to be replaced, fixed it same-day for less than 30 bucks. I'm a female that doesn't know about cars. Clearly, there are places that will take advantage of that. But not Eagle Auto. I highly recommend this shop. read more

Learned about this place through Costco. Great experience no surprise pricing, clarity on what was recommended and could wait and quick. Simple oil change and battery check. Would definitely recommend. Marvin was very helpful. read more

Eagle auto is Fantastic! Great service and excellent customer experience. I highly recommend this local place for any repairs.

They deserve a ten, I took my car in because of a rough idle They spent their money to run a fuel injection cleaning. It did not fix the issue. Rather than move forward my warranty is still in effect for injector issues . So I took it to the dealer. But here is why they are a ten. They didn't charge me. Because they couldn't fix it. Holy S--t who does that?? I'll be back and you should too. Thanks guys, a place that actually looks out for the customer. They are about the customer, which explains why their parking lot is packed with cars waiting for service . A new fan. read more

I worked with Eagle Auto to have my VSA module rebuilt and my car is now working well with no warning lights.

After doing way too much research on auto shops, I am so happy I chose Eagle Auto. I live on the east side (McCordsville area) and the drive was absolutely worth it. Customer service was friendly, quick, and attentive. I got my brakes done there and they were able to work with my schedule. The communication was top notch and I got updates throughout the whole process. The price was right in the range I was going for. The whole process was seamless and my Land Rover is running better than ever! Eagle Auto is the only place you should go for your car needs, highly recommended read more

We have been having a hard time finding a great mechanic for our cars, we either felt like the quality or price left us frustrated. A neighbor recommended Eagle and sang its praises, and I'm so grateful she did. They are professional and honest about the conditions of our car. The prices were reasonable and didn't try to sell us on anything beyond what we needed. I'm grateful we found a reliable mechanic! read more

I had my casket replaced paid $5000, but there was problems after that over the service period. Every time I take my car with questions, they keep the car for over a week and not do anything and saying they are not able to find the problem. No help, no customer service, no solving of the issue, VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER! read more

I was half-way through my DIY job and was at a stuck point. Called Eagle to get a work-shop quote just in case. I spoke with Jett. He listened closely to my situation and I threw a few different scenarios at him. Not only did he respond politely and professionally, Jett offered me key technical advise. Thanks to his automotive engineering expertise, we have mostly solved my ignition case. I look forward to driving by the shop to thank him in person. Thanks again Jett. read more

We have been going to Eagle Automotive for awhile and I highly recommend them. Matt, the owner, and Scott along with their staff do a great job. They are thorough and definitely know their cars. Their prices are more than fair and they are honest. My husband called Matt and told him that he wanted to particular task done on his car. Rather than saying okay and charging him, Matt told him they had performed that service last time he was in and it did not need to be done. Their waiting area is nice if you need to wait. read more

Update: Got our vehicle back/complete after 22 days. Headlight works. Company reportedly undergoing management change that led to huge delay. Staff were apologetic, removed all labor cost (so, $427 for light electrical work and new headlight bulb), then called to offer "a couple of" oil changes. I appreciate the after concern. read more

Good professional service, high quality work, and didn't try to run up the tab on me. On the downside, my vehicle was returned missing the front license plate; all the change was missing from my change dish; and my wedding ring was also taken from the change dish. I contacted them, and they suggested a homeless guy may have stolen this stuff. Can they not simply lock the vehicles to which they're entrusted? Seems like a simple precaution one would take when trusted with other peoples property. read more

I had an awful experience with them. I have an older jeep with a blower issue. I called ahead of time to make an appointment and make sure they could fix it. I was told no more than 48 hours to get it taken care of. I spent 350 dollars renting a car and dropped it off at the appointment time. As a single parent, that is quite a bit of money. I received no communication from them until the day came I was supposed to pick it up. They informed me that they hadn't even looked at it. I get being busy but be transparent with people and honest about timing. They did nothing to make it right at all. I would recommend avoiding at all costs read more

Originally the work I had gotten done here was not up to my expectations, however the owner Scott was very quick to contact me and rectify all the issues and made it easy on me. Went as far as to pick up and drop off my vehicle. Originally was not happy but man they went above and beyond to help fix the issues i had. This company, un like a lot of shops has integrity. They made a mistake and did everything they could to fix it and made it so there was no inconvenience to me. I greatly appreciate their hard work to help me fix my issues. read more

I had the perception that we could only get good service from the dealer. But, my recent experiences with dealers made me more and more dissatisfied with them / suspicious of their motive- "deceive customer to make more money". The last straw was my last trip to Butler Toyota at Whitestown when the dealer was recommending services that the manufacturer does not recommend. I find Eagle Automotive after some online research for good shops near Zionsville. Since all the reviews was highly complimentary of the quality of service here, I decided to try this place. Eagle Automotive exceeds my expectation in all aspects. I could go on and on about how good they are. The best way to convey my appreciation would be saying they made me a very loyal customer. Keep up the good work. I would be recommending them to anyone who asks me for a great place to address the car service needs. read more

Their staff was very helpful and there service was high quality and the lowest cost in the area.

Update: Upon deeper discussion with Scott and Mike, they were very accommodating and helpful in finding some resolution to my sensor issue. Mike removed the labor from the original repair bill, and they will try to help me find a solution to the continuing sensor issues. In an extremely stressful situation in the best of times they were polite, helpful, and kind. Great service and resolution regardless of the on-going technical problems. Thank you! I recently bought a used Nissan Xterra from a dealer in southern Indiana and the vehicle had an issue with the ABS caused by a speed sensor that was corroded and they did not have time to replace it before I needed to pick up the vehicle. They discounted the amount that it should take to replace this part, but recommended that I have a reputable service shop run a diagnostic first to confirm the issue. This shop came highly recommended by the Zionsville moms group on Facebook. They confirmed the issue and quoted $840 to fix it. Long story short, they replaced the sensor and now are saying sorry this didn't fix the problem and we need several more days to try and figure out what it is now? They can't tell me how much it will cost to run the diagnostics again, or how many days, hours, etc. So, I need to pay $890 for a repair that didn't work so they can continue to charge me an unknown amount to try to find out what the problem actually is? They are certain "it will cost me a lot more" though. This is the shadiest most disingenuous response to a problem that I have ever heard. He "wants to help me out" though and would discount the current charges when he knows what the future charges will be. Or, "I can take it to someone else" as soon as I pay him the $890 for not solving the problem. WOW read more

By far the best service I have ever received on my car. Eagle provides detailed explanations of issues and fixes, provides options and the customer service is outstanding from every employee I've dealt with which is unheard of in the industry. I cannot recommend this establishment. It took them more than a few weeks to make the repairs, a new engine. Once the repairs were made there were issues. Mike told me that the engine mount was bad and had gone bad after the engine was put in. I took the car to another shop and there was a 3/4" gap between the engine mount and bracket. When I contacted Mike about this he told me that sometimes they do not fasten all the way. The other establishment informed me that it was not the engine mount that was the problem. The problem was the engine bracket which is something that should have been noticed when they put in the "new" engine. My power steering was bad and needed to be replaced. I forgot to tell them to replace it. I konw as fact that it was bad as far as a year ago. When I mentioned this to Mike he told me that it must have gone bad after the engine was put in. It was leaking and it was visible. The people there are very nice but their efficiency is not good. I cannot recommend or applaud this business. I spoke with Mike today and he has made things right with the repairs. They are honorable. read more

I can't thank these guys enough for solving my girl Stella's issue! The dealership told me the problem was going to cost me $$$ to fix, but Matt found the REAL problem and save me a lot of money. I really appreciate their honesty, integrity, and thoroughness. I'll definitely bring my little Honda here for all her oil changes, routine maintenances and of course any unexpected problem that may happen. Tip: they have some loaner cars for clients, it's best to call ahead to see if they have any available if you don't have other options. read more

This place is so amazing! Matt and Nicole, the owners, are local family people that just "get it". Not only are they reasonably priced, but they are fair and truthful. At so many other repair places, I'm intimidated as a female, feeling like I will be taken advantage of since I'm not a car person. Here I get on he WiFi in the lounge, work until my car is done, and everything is explained in a way I can understand. Scott, their manager, even tells me when something can wait until next time or says, "I would do it to my own car now if it were me". Drive near or far to this place, trust me, it's worth it! read more

We took our van in for what I thought was a straight forward exhaust replacement. However, Kyle and his guys performed a thorough check to make sure they knew what the problem was, and not just go by the dealers assessment. And I'm glad they did...they saved us 85% from what the dealer was going to charge us! On top of that they made sure we were aware of some preventative maintenance issues...also saving us money. To our amazement, they busted their butts to make sure the work was done (and done properly) so that we had our van back before the weekend! We can't thank them enough for their efforts. Eagle Automotive is definitely our go to shop for repairs to our vehicle! Great customer service. Everything was top notch! read more

Edit: Matt (the owner of eagle automotive) reached out to me directly after I posted the review and I stated that the work they did, did not fix the issue of my A/C not working and asked for a chance to make it right, which I was hesitant but I agreed! He had Tony reach out to me the following day, which tony arranged to pick up my truck(from my workplace), drop off a loaner for me and continued to diagnose the issue my truck was having! They figured out what was going on, contacted my extended warranty to approve the work (ordered the parts prior to warranty company approving the work (to speed things up for me), due to unforeseen circumstances, at which eagle WAS NOT at fault for, things didn't go as planned but Tony did great at keeping me updated and fought hard to make the warranty company approve my claim, when he didn't have to! Even though my first experience didn't go so smoothly, Matt and Tony did what they could in their power to make it right and I very much appreciate it! That will bring customers back! Thanks to Matt and Tony for going above and beyond to make things right! Original: I decided to give eagle automotive an opportunity to service my vehicle and see what they were really about. First time to ever deal with them and I got a good vibe from the get-go but started go downhill from there! So I took my vehicle there Sunday evening and dropped it off (left the keys in the vehicle with a keypad to unlock on the outside because I didn't see the drop box until I was leaving and part of the reason for it going there was a battery drainage issue) called them Monday morning to let the know why it was there and they said they would look into it, the vehicle didn't get touched until Tuesday morning when an employee called me and said the keypad didn't work because the battery was to dead (in my mind, the vehicle sat there overnight, Sunday to Monday and the battery was drained but not completely to where it couldn't unlock the truck from the keypad, but since it waited two full nights to drain, then it was deader than a door nail, which previously the employee stated that they had lock-out kits and they should be able to unlock it with their kits! He called me Tuesday and said they couldn't get in so I had to call my warranty company to go and do a lock-out service (which was free to me since I had an extended warranty) but still a hassle regardless. Got the vehicle unlocked around 1 on Tuesday afternoon, didn't hear a word from them (attempted to call them about 4:45, 15 min before they close, since I hadn't heard from them but no answer) until Wednesday at noon when I received the text with the diagnostic results and STILL had to call them to figure out what the game plan was. At this point I figured out that they weren't good about communicating. On Thursday they said they "SHOULD HAVE" the condenser in and they would start working on it, he called me about 4:20 Thursday evening (they close at 5) and said the part just got in and they would start on it first thing Friday and the other part should be in by Friday as well and it wouldn't take long to fix both and I should have the truck back! Well, Friday rolls around and they said it wouldn't be fixed due to the parts not being in till around closing time and I asked if I could have the truck over the weekend since they are waiting for the other part (mind you that stated the condenser would be fixed first thing Friday) I said ok, I guess I'll wait till Monday for the other part to arrive, meanwhile I drove over there Sunday afternoon to grab a few tools out of the truck and there it sits in their unguarded parking lot with EVERY SINGLE DOOR UNLOCKED, meanwhile they have the keys inside! I opened the hood to see if they changed the condenser and sure enough, IT HADN'T BEEN TOUCHED WHATSOEVER. read more
