Rant: Amazing nails and spa I rarely leave reviews, but I have to share my experience…read more I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received at @amazingnails in Clermont. I was referred to Lindsey by the person in the inspiration photo to the left I shared, meaning the work shown was hers. Unfortunately, my experience was not good My inspiration photo was the image on the left, and the finished result was completely different. I paid $85, which I had no issue with at all price was not the problem. The problem was that the final product was not what I asked for. I clearly communicated my expectations during the entire appointment, and while I was told "okay, I'll do it for you," the finished result did not match what was agreed upon. What frustrates me most about nail salons is being told something "looks the same" when it clearly does not. I explained to the nail tech that the shape was off and the overall result did not match the inspiration. She initially agreed to fix it, but when I arrived, I was told it would cost an additional $65. At that point, I was extremely upset. I had already driven 25 minutes, paid full price, and basically had to accept the situation. No customer service at all or the accountability. I've been in the beauty industry and I understand respecting time, but if you know it wasn't done right at least try to rectify.

They have a great selection of colors to pick from. I picked a color and was taken right back to get my pedicure. For me, a sign of a good pedicure revolves around the massage portion of the pedicure. I want to leave feeling relaxed. This place did it riight. You can tell they are working hard to renovate and make this place look brand new. With all of the brand new nail salons opening throughout the area, this is exactly what a nail salon has to do to stay in the mix. I was even told today that new pedicure chairs are expected soon. Finally, the polish itself. It was done carefully and turned out great. When the top coat messed up a corner of one of my nails, she was quick to fix it. This is the sign of a true professional. Everyone feeling good! Gel-pedi: I had a guy that did my mani and pedi and he was a perfectionist! After 5 minutes I felt 10 pounds lighter and the massage was just perfect! The manager (I think) came to supervised his job and said that my color was beautiful and if I liked the work so far, I said I love it !! Another girl came over also liking my color selection. So, I ended up getting the gel because she said it was better for the design I wanted. Then when my mom was getting her mani, we see the wall of powders...so it seemed like they DID offer other services. I dunno. I didn't feel like the 20 min massage was really a massage. It's more your standard rubbing when they put different lotions on you. All in all, the experience was fine and the ambiance was pretty and had nice lighting and chairs for a more upscale feel.

It's a bit hard to find, as it is hidden away in an obscure building with empty stores, but worth the search by the Harley Davidson off of 27.

No one answered the phone, which was odd. We were in the neighborhood, so I stopped in to make an appointment. They gave us a 4 pm appointment. Great, right? Our mani pedis were just OK. My mom loves leisurely mani pedis, and got service from an extremely efficient nail tech who sped through her service like it was a race, then left for the day. She barely got a foot/leg massage, which is her favorite part. My mom was finished with her mani pedi 25 minutes before me. The girl who did my nails was new, and worked very slowly. My mom was standing around waiting, which made me feel bad. My nails looked OK, but a few days later my skin was ragged from her meticulous but poor cuticle trimming. My mom lives in the area, and said she won't return. I was hoping she'd become a regular customer and go with me. She's going to stick with her nail salon.
