My first visit! I am taking the pumpkin cinnamon rolls to my mother. But the lemon poppyseed scones were delicious!

I've had two things from here and both have been phenomenal. First was the Italian sub, it was SO…read morefull of ingredients and so delicious. And second was the bacon cheddar fries they were offering over the summer during Pride, also delicious and a HUGE portion. Can't wait to come back and try those chicken tenders I keep hearing about!

Easy to find, cute spot for tasty food & somewhere to chat with a friend. I was greeted upon entry & the associate at the counter gave me time to absorb my options but also offered to answer any questions I had. My initial question was if they had onion bagels. They were out of them but she suggested what they did have & I went with a 'French toast' bagel. Next question was if I wanted it toasted with cream cheese or butter OR as a sandwich. I opted for egg, sausage & cheese. They took my name for the order & within 5 or 6 minutes, along with a hot chai tea latte, it was ready to pick up. I sat at a table for two around the corner. The ambiance is relatively open, pink walls, a TV that was off with a remote nearby. Nestled in & amongst historic, old buildings, it was though they worked with what they had. According to my friend, they used to be in Milton & moved to Rochester very recently. I ordered a steak & cheese sub to bring home to my husband. He said they made it perfectly. The shaved steak was fresh, just enough seasoning of salt & pepper & delicious bread.

I stumbled into Edelweiss Pastry Shop this weekend and WOW...I need to get my eyes checked because…read moreI have been MISSING OUT BIGTIME! I am sad that it took me this long to find a quality, delicious croissant in Southern Maine. This is not your average bakery. This is the kind of spot where you take one bite and immediately go quiet because your brain is trying to process how something can taste that good. Each piece is a little work of art! They had these tiny chocolate creme tarts/pie with mango coulis and wow. An absolute dream. Everything we tried was next-level--light, flavorful, not overly sweet, and clearly made with serious skill. The pastries have that authentic European feel where quality and technique come first, not just sugar overload. I am proud to say that I indulged in their croissants and chocolate creme TWICE this weekend. Totally worth it. Biddeford is lucky to have this place. Go visit, your mouth will thank me. Pro tip: go early... because once people figure this out, good luck getting your hands on anything by noon.

With an impending storm coming I think some people stocked up to enjoy some delicious pastries while being snowed in. You step foot into the small yet well set up shop and are instantly looking at the pastries for offer. After the breakfast pastries you will find cases of other pastries and cakes and lastly bon bons and truffles. They do have a small amount of seating/tables if you must eat your goodies right away. My wife and I each grabbed something to bring home and enjoy a little later since we had breakfast nearby. My wife got their Tres Leche cake and absolutely loved it. While I got the Black Forest Petit Gâteau, that was perfectly rich yet balanced out and was good til the last bite. These two treats impressed us and now we know the quality this shop makes and look forward to coming back and trying more.
