They offer the ability to preorder once they announce the next time they will be making baked goods or you can buy when they put them out. It runs on the honor system and they allow cash payments but through Venmo as well. They have a heavy focus on sourdough and always have some gluten-free offerings! My wife and I have enjoyed everything we have tried from them. The first time we tried a great way to see if we liked the sourdough with a flight offering that came with three small sized sourdough loaves. It came with a classic, everything bagel and third was cheddar garlic rosemary and we were impressed with all three. That got my wife hooked and she even reached out requested a lemon blueberry sourdough and they added it to their menu that week and we loved it! Up to the most recent order and got some sourdough focaccia and a lemon bar. Honestly a great variety we have tried with plenty more of good sounding offerings like the cinnamon rolls you'll see in my pictures. They will drop their menus on social media at the same time they will announce when their next day of stocking will be. High quality baked goods at reasonable prices!

This small shop is located inside a little market style building and the store itself is full of random candy and souvenirs as well as the ice cream I came seeking. Like every single other time I see blue ice cream that has a name like "cookie monster" or "oreo cookie something blah blah" I ordered it and The Saco Scoop did it better then most. The woman who worked here was charming and quick to give us our scoops and get us on our way, and man, this might be the best ice cream I've ever had in the state of Maine (I haven't actually had much, but this stuff was incredible). It was so creamy, it was so flavourful, and it was so freaking good I wish I was able to stop by right now and get a few more scoops. Overall, The Saco Scoop is a truly wonderful little ice cream shop that I'm so glad I stumbled across.
