I discovered Uncharted back in December 2025 while on dinner break for a show at Merrill…read moreAuditorium. From the moment I walked in, I fell in love with the atmosphere. It's definitely my kind of vibe. The staff were attentive and not put out when I first came in and were incredibly helpful with giving me suggestions (because everything sounded so good). I ended up leaving my first visit with The Abyss bubble tea and meandered my way back to Merrill. Today, I decided to treat my son to an evening out in Portland, and we swung into Uncharted for a quick tea. He got a small regular brown sugar milk tea and I got a large Kraken. I'm just as smitten with the vibe and the space now as I was back in December, & know that whenever I'm in town I'll be coming in to get a tasty drink to walk around town with.

There were so many interesting drinks to choose from, but luckily the workers were friendly and super helpful in guiding me. The commitment to the nautical theme is adorable, and all the clever drink names made the menu fun to read. I also love how many books and games they have available, it feels like a cozy little hangout spot you could easily lose track of time in. I got the Leviathan, which is nitro coffee, taro, oat milk, simple syrup, and boba. I'm picky with boba, and let me just say... I was actually impressed. The texture and flavor were on point. There were so many other drinks I wanted to try, so I'll definitely be back.

Honeyboba is SO FREAKING GOOD. Definitely in my top 3 of places we visit most often. Why? The…read moreselection is outrageous - probably 10 menu boards of different drink options, anything from pimped-out lemonades to crazy matcha drinks, iced coffee and Thai milk teas, not to mention the plethora of real fruit teas, smoothies, and other delights. Plenty of toppings, like popping boba, jelly, and egg pudding. The ingredients they use are actually quality items - fresh fruit, thai brewed tea, real avocado, etc. It's hard enough to find a boba spot with all of that goodness, but what sends HoneyBoba over the top is the snacks! There's a hot case that is almost always stocked with tasty goodies like custard buns, dumplings, and spring rolls. There are freshly baked treats like loaded cookies and fun takes on rice krispie treats. And something we never tried but looks so good is their bubble waffles - yum! The drink menu usually stays the same (or expands!), but the snacks will rotate, depending on what the owner dreams up and churns out. It's worth it to follow them on Instagram for a preview of what is currently available. Parking is weird but you can usually score a spot either on the street right in front of the shop or in the little parking lot right behind the building. Stop in and give it a try! It's your new favorite boba spot!

STOP scrolling -- if you love boba, you need to know about this place…read more The second you walk in, you're hit with the incredible smell of fresh, homemade food being cooked right in front of you... it's unreal. And when you actually see the display? Rows of warm, freshly made buns, dumplings, and pastries -- from sweet coconut and taro buns to savory pork baos, curry buns, and more -- all made with care and ready to grab. It makes you want to try everything. You don't just get boba here -- you get food made daily from the owner's own family recipes, filled with the Cambodian flavors she grew up smelling and eating her whole life. She's sharing something deeply personal with the community, and you can taste the love, care, and authenticity in every single bite. And it's not just drinks -- they also have amazing treats like boba waffles and so many unique, delicious foods that you won't find just anywhere. The vibe? Warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy. The owner and staff are so kind and make you feel like you actually matter, not just another customer. There are games for both kids and adults, plus the cutest photo spot that makes you want to stay and enjoy the moment. This isn't just a quick boba stop -- it's an experience. A place built on tradition, flavor, and heart. Do yourself a favor and go. Once you come here, everywhere else just feels... average.

OMG hands down the best banh mi! Wish I lived closer so I come more often during the week. We drive…read moreabout 45 mins one way for this. The cold cut special banh mi is out of this world. The amount of meat you get really makes the banh mi taste so yummy. Sooo worth the money. I crave this all the time. The pho was okay in my opinion but WOOW their banh mi is the star. Fresh veggies. Pho had a great amount of noodles as well. Service was great, provided recommendations. There's a few real authentic vietnamese dish here. I felt soo happy seeing them on the menu. The entire room was busy, all the tables were in use. Glad they're getting business.

They rearranged the configuration to make space for more tables, and an easier to access bathroom. They also streamlined the menu. They no longer have the wall of coolers with alcoholic beverages (like canned cocktails, beer, and wine). They do have one cooler with a variety of soft drinks. They do still sell some bottled and canned alcoholic beverages, but a very limited variety. They also no longer have the shelves of packaged food for sale. They now have one tiny shelf with a limited variety of dry ramen. The new layout makes it feel much more like a take out sub shop style venue. I tried the pho, which was my first time...I usually get a banh mi...and they had an unusual option...Pho with ramen noddles instead of the traditional rice noodles. It was delicious! The broth was flavorful, the meat, herbs and bean sprouts were fresh, and the ramen noodles were great in Pho! It was also my first time eating in, and it was actually pretty nice...I was the first one seated at a table, but by the time I finished there were 3 other parties seated at tables, or the high stools along the window counter. Good lunch spot.
