Yummy doughnuts with a great variety. Good New England brand coffee, iced for a hot summer day. Very kind staff. True small gem by the lake

When we found this, we found a cute little stand that sold bags of apples and pumpkins and and some neat little decorative fall items and then they directed us to the orchards. We then went to the orchards and found a few things that we LOVED about this place. It was cozy, and not as busy and the trees were STOCKED full of delicious apples (honeycrisp for us) and a small little toy train taking people on rides around and just had a small orchard and cozy town feel. We loved it here and the people that worked here where the guy at the front desk of the shack said "Ok, I have two rules .... you over fill this bag with as many apples as you can fit into it and two, eat as many as you can while you are picking" This is different from the other orchard where they weigh your bag and then charge you accordingly where here it is a flat rate for the size of the bag. We loved it and will be back again apple picking season next year.

Fantastic pick your own orchard! They had a great variety to pick for a reasonable price. The…read moresetting is also absolutely stunning. Beautiful orchard atop a huge hill that you can see for miles. We even found a plaque commemorating a 1932 naval expedition to see a solar eclipse! So yes, absolutely stunning views of the countryside in fall. The trees were so full of apples I couldn't believe it! They have a cute little train (tractor and mini wagons) for the kids or young at heart. They also have an apple sling shot, which I'm shocked I've. Ever seen this before because it was very fun. The pick your own is a bit over the hill from their farm stand which can be confusing, but the farm stand is worth stopping at for the donuts and cider. They make the cider and it's one of the better ciders I've had in a long time. Also, it's dog friendly, which weirdly many places are not.

Service was stellar the entire night. The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable and hard working; a very popular and busy establishment. We had draft Pacifico beers which were nice and cold. We just had to try the baby pork shanks appetizer with zippy peach BBQ sauce served atop fennel and cabbage slaw with grilled peaches. Absolutely splendid dish! For entrees (which includes a salad and focaccia bread) we ordered the herb encrusted prime rib and the chicken saltimbocca. Both were extremely gererous portions. The chicken was moist and flavorful and the mushroom cream sauce was heavenly! The mashed potatoes and fresh veggies went perfectly with this dish. The prime rib was surprisly tough and chewey, but once we notified the staff, they did everything to try to make it right. We finished off with a limocello digestive. We were well taken care of and enjoyed the ambiance of the space and the vibes at the bar. The restaurant and restrooms were spotless. Small parking lot or on street parking. Reservations are strongly recommended as this place fills up fast!
