I adore this little slice of fall heaven.. of course it's open most in the fall as it is an apple orchard. It' has a tree house dining room, a small cafe and store and amazing apple cider everything. Come September of every year Cornish does the Apple festival! It's such great fun, with everything from fair food, live music, shopping and games to arts and crafts. Vendors come from all around to show off their home made gifts and gadgets. There's a lot to see and even more to shop. There's a bluegrass festival they also do the same weekend of the apple festival. The bluegrass musicians actually set up at apple acres farm and play all afternoon. We usually arrive early to grab a good spot in the shade and set up our chairs and blankets. They always have a very good bbq meal that helps support the farm. Last year it was bbq chicken, beans, slaw and a roll. So yummy! They have an apple and pumpkin catapult and fun things for the whole family to partake in. It's become a tradition and we truly love this place. Also try their homemade ice cream!!! Try that alongside their homemade fresh and still warm apple cider donuts ! Fall heaven haven!!!!! read more

I love, love, love Apple Acres Farm. It has been an all family go-to for years! We love the fudge and donuts, their excellent apple and squash selection, the apple blaster, and their sweet gift shop and sandwich counter. This year, Apple Acres has added a dining room. We were super excited and drove right up last weekend to check it out! Honestly, the dining room itself is quite beautiful with a tree and twinkling lights. It seems like a GREAT space for a wedding reception or private party. When we arrived, we were thinking that it would be a sit down and order off a menu kind of situation, but it was not. It was a still order at the counter and someone will bring you your food set up. We ordered and waited in the dining room. Before long our sandwiches arrived. They were all made with quality ingredients, but I did think the price point was high, as the sandwich came with no sides, not even a pickle. We also ordered a grilled peach dessert, which was good, but expensive for such a small dish. The staff, while very nice, also seem frazzled and confused. Overall, I hope Apple Acres works out the kinks and continues to expand this dining space. There are a few other destination eating spots in Cornish and I firmly believe they can become another special spot in this lovely Maine town! read more

A relatively small organic apple orchard in a very beautiful setting that also offers peaches. There is a charming cafe and dining area with gifts and maple syrup. The apple fields are more rugged than others we've been to in that the grass is quite tall and some of the paths not so worn, so wear good waterproof shoes since the grass may be wet. My husband noticed a giant burrow hole that someone could have easily stepped into and tripped so be careful (we did let them know). Employees are very friendly and helpful. read more

Spent a day leaf peeping through NH & Maine and stumbled across Apple Acres Farms. We pulled up, walked around, took in the beautiful scene and as we did so the staff watched us arrive, hurried and locked up the store without saying anything. We tried to go inside and the shop keeper said "oh so you know we closed" on her way out the door. No sorry, no offer to stay open a few minutes later (there were only 2 of us) ... not even a warning they were closing as we stood near the door admiring the view. Not worth driving off the beaten path! Try an apple orchard further up the road instead read more

Very disappointing. Walked in an hour before closing and was ignored. Once finally acknowledged we were treated as if we were an annoyance. Rude. Wasted drive. Do Better. read more

"Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt." If sipping a delicious cider or craft beer from their inspired selection amongst the orchard over looking the gorgeous countryside of Cornish Maine sounds like the perfect afternoon, head over to this lovely farm. Their food menu also has a nice variety including paninis filled with ingredients like chèvre, fig jam, and thick cut bacon. If you loved your cider/beer, you can pick up a 4pack inside the country store where you will be overtaken by the comforting smell of fresh made apple cider doughnuts. read more

Fantastic Experience!! 6 pounds of appels for $9! The people were kind, the apple cider donuts were great. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. We went during the bluegrass festival it was packed! Great fall activity read more

Great afternoon there last fall. Love the organics even though a little misshapen they still taste great. The turkey panini was excellent. It's 3 months ago and I still remember how good it was. Hope to get there for the peaches this year! read more

Cute store, lots of ciders and fresh baked goods. However the apple farm was completely over picked..,. Like not a single ripe apple to pick at all. Very unfortunate, and totally not the fault of the owners that their fields were picked so early! However, I feel like they could post on their websites that there's not really apples to pick but that people could just come and enjoy their store instead. Might have saved us the hour drive :/ read more

We go here every year over Columbus day weekend. It has tons of open space and rows upon rows of apple trees to pick from. Even on the busiest days there is plenty of room to roam the orchard. The little store is adorable and they make apple cider and cider donuts on the spot. There is also homemade fudge! There is nothing better than a hot apple cider donut covered in sugar. Delightful! The Staff is friendly and helpful. This is one of my favorite spots in Maine. read more

This place has unfortunately gone downhill. Used to be very cozy, sweet staff, reasonably priced gifts in the shop. Went there for the first time in a few years last week and everything in the store is outrageously overpriced, the lady working sag behind the counter on her laptop the whole time and barely spoke to us, and the fudge covered apples were on top of the display counter, uncovered, Flys flying around... and they were almost gray colored from being so dried out, its simple to wrap them up. The 2 stars are for the beautiful view. read more

Wow! This out of the way you-pick farm was a great experience. We visited first week in October and were greeted with freshly made apple donuts, out of this world macoun apples, the freshest apple cider made right on the premises. Great fun and fantastic gift shop. Make time for this during your stay in Maine. read more
