We've driven by here so many times and today we stopped in to check out what they have. They have an expansive menu on FB. Everything is made fresh on site, nothing is ever processed and not preservatives. They are a farm to table place that specializes in frozen meal to take home and prepare or one or more of their amazing subs, sandwiches, panini, salads, appetizers or soups. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and all things organic. We had a meatball sub with 5 good size meatballs that are made with grass fed beef and mixed with a Parmesan mixture then it was topped with sauce and option of cheese or not. I had a chicken Parmesan sub which was overstuffed with lightly breaded chicken cooked to perfection and then sliced into strips, topped with sauce and cheese. My husband said it was the best meatball sub that he has ever had. My chicken Parmesan was delicious and so large that I ate 1/2 and saved the other half for later. Both meals came with fresh homemade potato chips, which were also amazing. How they do these subs for just $10.99? We also purchased a frozen chicken pie to eat later. It was also amazing. No extra seasonings or preservatives or a surplus of gravy. Just filled with greatness of white meat chicken, carrots, red potatoes, peas and corn (small $12.99 we had 4 servings) We'll definitely be back. I have been going to Windy Fields for several years and I've never been disappointed. Their Reubens are excellent as are their turkey Reubens. The roast beef is melt in your mouth and when they occasionally have fried fish sandwiches you don't want to miss out. They are a great family but they can get very busy so I recommend calling ahead. Windy Farms is a hidden gem that everyone should be aware of. They have by far the best chicken pot pie's I've ever had. I eat one every week. They also make great turkey pot pie and Sheppard's pie. He is nasty, and confrontational for absolutely no reason. He made it so uncomfortable, we never went back. We have not been there in a year or so, and we never will go back. Deli Sandwiches and homemade chips are my absolute favorite! The specials they run every day are simply amazing and I normally order one of those one excellent! But best of all... Are there Christmas trees! They simply have the most beautiful perfect Christmas trees at reasonable prices. And Lisa actually help me get my tree to my car on a particular year I can't post the photo as I don't know how and she was just an incredible help! It was huge obviously had to be cut down a little before I bought into my house but she help me get it onto the car and all that. They are amazing family. And the true definition of a family owned and run business! I cannot say enough good about the hidden treasure. They are the nicest people and their food is simply amazing!
