Nice little place. It's right there where you get off the ferry, nice option for breakfast before exploring the island. No restrooms inside but there are public ones across the street down the stairs. The meat sandwich with sausage on toast was tasty.

Super cute cafe with tons of fresh and packaged food options along with beverages! The homemade cinnamon roll was so good I ate it before taking a picture! They also have island-type gifts you can buy!

This is a great little spot for a quick bite on your way to or from the ferry port. I stopped in this morning with a couple friends for a late breakfast/early lunch. I was looking forward to ordering one of the egg sandwiches, but we were a little late for the breakfast menu (note that breakfast only runs until 11:30am). Instead, we ordered coffee, an apple pastry, and some sandwiches. The baked goods are made fresh daily. And me and a friend split a ham and cheese sandwich and a turkey avocado one. The sandwiches were fresh and simple, and served with some coleslaw.

Cute cafe conveniently located right at the ferry port on Peaks Island. Initially went for breakfast, but found out that the grill closed at 11:30am. Instead, my friend and I split two sandwiches: ham/swiss and turkey/avocado. Sandwiches came furnished with a side salad. All of the food was delicious - like sandwiches mom would make, but with the freshest ingredients. The cafe also offers an assortment of pastries, baked fresh daily. The cafe offers a range of coffee and tea, but basics only. Don't expect to order any specialty drinks. Service was very friendly, like most of Peaks Island. Stop in to grab some grub before exploring the island!

Take the ferry to Peaks Island some guy tells me...rent a bike and ride around the island he tells me....go there for the reggae fest on Sundays he says.....WHY DIDN'T ANYONE MENTION Peaks Cafe!?! We got off the ferry around 2pm and were absolutely famished....so we crawled up the hill from the ferry looking for something reasonably priced and quick....checked yelp for some help.....DAMN YOU YELP!!!! Only $$$ places? Saw Peaks Cafe, checked it out....solid. They do simple sandwiches, some breakfast stuff, and coffee. Simple, reasonably priced (especially for AN ISLAND!), and friendly staff. Plus they have a cool little outside seating area. It's ideally located right up the street from the ferry landing. Apparently their lox is popular because they were out of it when I arrived and I was sad. Instead I tried the crab roll, twas solid. My lady got the chicken waldorf sandwich which was BOMB! If you're cheap like me, and don't want to sit down to a fancy meal, and just want a quaint little coffee shop....go to Peaks Cafe.

They ran out of cinnamon rolls :( buuut they have this Beautiful Outdoor Seating :)

Cute little Cafe - they ran out of the famous cinnamon rolls so I missed my chance. Everything else was okay. It's a cute little cafe.

I also tried a bite of the biscuits and gravy at the table and they were rich, comforting, and seriously tasty. The drinks were just as impressive. She was so warm and friendly that I'd come back just to chat with her again. Great service, great food, great experience overall. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Portland.

When we finally came during the off season, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity since wait times were shorter. The wait on a Saturday afternoon was about 15-20 minutes. I will say - I had high hopes for Hot Suppa. Between my fiance and I, we ordered the waffle, side of corned beef hash, and the fried green tomatoes eggs benny. The corned beef hash here is excellent - that I do have to acknowledge. I was a bit underwhelmed by the fried green tomatoes though. The tomatoes were just okay, but the excessive hollandaise sauce really just made the whole dish waaay too heavy. It was also just messy. Service was slow & our waitress tended to disappear for long periods of time. Coffee & water refills both took a long time. Parking here is difficult but not impossible. Most spots are only for an hour or so.

I've already got a few visits under my belt and liked them enough to have bought a souvenir mug. First visit actually reviewing was a breakfast trying the Hobson's Sampler with eggs, meat, homefries, toast, pancakes, and many choices among them. -- Scrambled Eggs: Nothing remarkable but no mistakes. Cooked just right, avoiding brownage and runny goopage. -- Homefries: Cut into non-cubes with heights less than the widths, achieving better crispness that way. Good variety of textures. Not much seasoning or onion, but solid homefries. -- Sausage Links (3): Standard. Lightly crisped, still juicy. Seems easy, but hardly anyone does them this well. -- English Muffin: I told the server to skip the toast, seeing there'd be plenty of carbs with the two pancakes, but she strongly recommended trying the English muffins, since they were homemade. Great flavor, great choice. Will have these again and I recommend you try them too. -- Pancakes (2): Fluffy and delicious. And big. Not elite, but really close. Enough that you'd have to go to 10 other places before finding one better. Just a great all-around place.
