Busy! Decided to grab coffee on Sunday morning before heading out for the day and it was busy! The line moved kind of slow but we weren't in a rush and don't mind waiting - we ordered 2 iced lattes and an everything bagel with cream cheese. Bagel was great and coffee was good!

Though the area definitely has a captive audience - we found the coffee to be hot and fresh, the service friendly and fast. And the local mascot is adorable! The views unbeatable.

What a great find in Stanley. After driving quite a long way, we needed a pick me up. Peaks and Perks was the perfect stop. The coffee was great, the staff friendly with good recommendations. Stop, you will love getting out of the car, stretching your legs, smelling the fresh mountain air and enjoying a fabulous cup of coffee or tea and maybe a snack.

There's few coffee places in Stanley. Peaks and Perks is one of them. Cash only by the way. They have cool concoctions and really anyone can play with the flavors and one can create their own. The only reason why I am giving this 4 stars is because when we were there, the order taker was hurrying us a bit and it just left a bad impression to me. I ordered White Sawtooth.

We always make a point to stop at Peaks and Perks when traveling visiting Stanley. Good coffee and nice shade from the afternoon sun. See you in 2021!

Espresso milkshake and the strange brew

Soooo good! Busy place but quick. We got the "Strange Brew" which is a cold brew and an espresso milkshake. There's a nice little outside area to sit. Just the recharge we needed after a long hike.

Honestly, the best coffee I've had in a small town. More times then most coffee in small towns are decent but this coffee is some to write home too. The employees were friendly, the service quick and the backdrop the most beautiful. I would recommend this cart to everyone. The bagels are so delicious and they are always improving their menu. You have to come here in Stanley!

Had an amazing Mexican mocha here. Perfect location with picnic benches and great views. A nice spot for a cuppa.

Loved the Turkey bagel sandwich!! Delicious and fresh. Coffee was ok and service was good. Could've been a little friendlier though.

There were lots of options and the first thing we started with was a loaf of the sourdough bread. When we asked how large it would be the waiter responded "the size of a small baby" lol. He wasn't entirely wrong either, it was a pretty good size. It was so good paired with the whipped feta and pimento cheese. I am not normally a huge pimento fan, but this was really good. Next we had one of the salads, but it wasn't the star of the show, still tasty though. The pierogis were quite good and had a good consistency. We did make friends with the table next to us who ordered almost 1 of everything on the menu and raved about even the stuff we did not try so it seemed like you couldn't go wrong no matter what you order.

Hubby liked the smoked whitefish and said he would have it again. The house-made and baked sourdough was delish and we took a half loaf home to enjoy tomorrow. The sausage charcuterie board was great. The highlight for us was the house-made bacon which had a great spiciness. The bratwurst was really good paired with the house mustard, and the kielbasa was good as well, although not our fave. We just preferred the brat and bacon. We shared the fried chicken for two and it didn't disappoint. The coating was crunchy and well-seasoned. It did fall off, but if you held tightly, you could get a great bite of both the breading and the moist chicken beneath. They served three sauces with it which were all complimentary and offered a choice for everyone. The mashed potatoes were reminiscent of those we've had at a few fine dining establishments such as Joel Robuchon, (although these fell short of that, they were quite tasty and deserved of their own accolades). The shaved broccoli salad was the hit of the meal. It delivered on all taste elements. The ambiance reminded us of a cozy Bavarian restaurant. There was lots of wood, cozy tables and chalet-style decor. All that was missing may be a cheese fondue. I wouldn't be surprised if they offered that in the winter season. The prices were very reasonable and could fit almost any dining budget depending upon the menu selection. A rare find anywhere, but especially in such a small town. Don't miss this special place if you're in Stanley or the surrounding area. It's worth a visit just to grab a loaf of bread for your trail sandwiches.

Long lines usually mean the place is great! There were three of us so we made sure to all order three different flavors so I can try them all. We ordered single scoop in a cup of coconut pineapple, single scoop in waffle cone of salted caramel, and single scoop in waffle cone of huckleberry cheesecake. Just choosing a flavor was hard because they have a wide range of flavors and many of them sounded good. Mountain size scoops as they advertised. I couldn't finish mine. I don't know how or what they put in the ice cream but all three flavors were delicious. Seriously the best ice cream I have had and will probably craving it for awhile.

The girls were still there when I asked if that was the right place. Most everything else was closed. I said we wanted to order. The two girls look at each other before one said that they were closed. I said but your hours say you're still open for 1p more minutes. They respond that because school has started thry now close one hour earlier. At least have the decency to say sorry we closed a bit early since no one was around, rather than try to lie it off. It would not take 1 hour to clean and close the tiny place up either. Acknowledge the mistake that you shut things down to try and get home a bit early. I'm willing to give it another shit because if it's fame, but the lie probably will still make me taste some bitterness
