We came here for brunch and sat outside. Unfortunately the wasps really like it here too, so just beware. Our server was professional, if a little stiff. Hubby and I split a schnitzel and waffle. Sadly they charge a $3 to $5 split plate fee which feels like a greedy move. The schnitzel was well fried and the waffle was nice. The star of the show though was the croffle we shared with the table. It was seriously amazing and worth every calorie. I would've if the bathroom had a lock that signified if it was occupied or not, and one of the toilet seats (the right bathroom) was broken, so hey, get that fixed!

Konditorei Bakery & Cafe is such a lovely spot. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. You can either sit down for breakfast service or stand in line for coffee and pastries. The line was pretty long (Valentine's morning and a beautiful day), but once we were seated, table service was fast and efficient. We ordered a cappuccino, latte, avocado toast, and a Nutella crepe -- everything was excellent. The drinks were perfectly made, the avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and the Nutella crepe was such a treat. Overall, a great place to spend a special morning!

Delicious food, ample desserts, and great service!! It was a great and large inviting restaurant with bakery and the wait wasn't too long and nice that they text you when your table is ready so you can check out the local shops nearby. The group ordered an array of dishes but overall the ones that stood out to me was the chicken noodle soup full of hearty veggies and the Hungarian noodle was like a mini gnocchi! So good on the cold days! As well as the hot chocolate! Entree wise the ones I loved was the avocado toast and the caprese poached eggs! great place as you're checking out Sun valley Ketchum area!

We absolutely loved this place! Such a wonderful breakfast spot. I've been here twice now. Both times the food was impeccable. I've had the avocado toast, which is just wonderful, and this time, I had Nutella crepes with bananas, and I literally couldn't stop eating it. My boyfriend had the classic crepes as well, and cleaned his plate. My sister had the waffles and bacon, and she loved her food as well. I also had their homemade lemonade and it was amazing! They have such a wide selection of breakfast/brunch items, so it's easy to find something to eat. Not to mention the entire case of pastries to choose from... The environment was super cute. I loved that it was in the village in Ketchum! That's already such a fun location. The restaurant felt a little more upscale, but we all wore jeans and felt fine. Our service was good, but our waitress seemed a little short with us. When I ordered my crepes, she looked at me like I was crazy for ordering crepes with only Nutella and bananas. However, she was pretty attentive. We didn't have to wait for a table, which was wonderful! However, please note that this place is EXPENSIVE. Plan to see three digits on your bill by the time you're done. I don't think the food was worth THAT much money, but the experience as a whole was great. We'll be back!

The service was quick and great. The atmosphere was great and they had enough to see nine people and very roomy inside. The food was spectacular and worth the price and came out fairly quickly. We all enjoyed our meals and we definitely come back again if we lived in this area. Would definitely recommend to other people.

Great food good coffee easy location! This is your breakfast and lunch spot if you're staying at the Sun Valley Resort. It is walking distance and comfortable. Options for everyone; I had the cauliflower quinoa bowl with salmon which was savory and sweet. I felt like the staff was a little distracted by their side conversations and gossip but still nice! The flavored lattes are super sweet so I recommend doing light syrup.

Konditorei offers so much. Sit down meals, to go pastries and delicious coffee. One of our favorite and a must to try when in Sunvalley. It combines the local hospitality with the Austrian theme of culinary and Vibe. Don't miss it and enjoy the whole experience.

Hot Chocolate with whipped cream. 16oz. Delish!

Popped in on a Saturday morning in mid December. Our party of four was seated right away in a fun booth situation. I ordered hot chocolate with whipped cream and fat free milk. My tum-tum tells me they used whole milk but it was delicious nonetheless. One of my friends wanted a Bloody Mary but they don't sell alcoholic bevs until after 10am. Take note! I ordered the Nutella Crepes and a side of bacon and was not disappointed! The crepes were fresh and warm and plentiful. Not too big a serving but I did have to dig deep to eat the last bite and I'm happy I did. They use fresh strawberries and not the strawberry sauce which was clutch. (I do NOT care for the sugary sauce other places lather on perfectly good food.) They ask you if you want your bacon cooked crispy or not and I was so pleasantly surprised that they even cared that much. I chose crispy. Next time I'll order in between and it'll be perfect. Atmosphere was fun, cozy and family friendly and the service was very attentive. Can't wait to come again!

Best breakfast in sun valley! Loved the coffee, the chocolate croissants, and the service. Ambiance is super cute. Great for a pre ski breakfast. Also had lunch there and got the Cobb salad. It did not disappoint.

I love coming here for brunch! Everything sounds so good and I wish I could try the whole menu. I've had the Summit Creek Omelete and Cauliflower Hash, and loved both!! Everything is high quality, fresh, and full of great flavor combinations. It's expensive but they give you large portions and I think it's worth it. It's located right in Sun Valley Village, so even if it's a bit of a wait to get in, you can walk around the shops! The theme and environment is cute inside and adds to the experience. Next time I want to try one of the pastries or desserts because those look delicious too! I'll keep coming back!

The lemon marscapone croffle (croissant waffle) was the best breakfast thing I've ever eaten.

Probably one of the best American breakfasts I've had. Great place for sandwiches, salads, baked goods. It was so hard to pick what to order because everything looked delicious.

Run, quickly, to Konditorei for an awesome cafe experience. You can choose to sit and order or order at the counter and dine by the fire. We sat at a table by the fire. We started with a Kale Cirrus Salad w/kale. So, so good. Next was soup and Meat Quiche. Extremely delicious. Thankfully they had one meat quiche left. We got three things for dessert--key lime pie tart (yum), eggnog roll (just ok; not a lot of Flavor) and a apple cheesecake bar (delicious). Check this place out for breakfast or lunch! Wonderful service to boot!!

Presidents Day Weekend is one of the (if not THE) busiest weekends in Sun Valley. My kids wanted to…read moreeat at their favorite restaurant in the village- Village Station. Unfortunately, there was a 1 hour 20 minute wait! We walked over to Gretchen's remembering we had a pretty good dinner there last spring. They told us they were at capacity, but to grab the couches when they became available and it was the same menu and service. It took us about 15 minutes to secure a table in the lounge, which wasn't too bad. Since I had 3 very hungry kids with me who had skied all day we were ready to order, but our waitress was nowhere in site. I asked a few other staff members if we could order and they said they'd send her over, but we waited and waited. Finally she showed up and we placed our order right away: ahi tuna nachos, tempura green beans and trout. For the amount of time we waited for our food we could have waited the hour and 20 min at Village Station. They teased us at one point by bringing out plates so we thought our food was coming, but no luck. Our waitress continued to ignore us, but i waved her over a few times and each time she told us our food would be out in a minute....and then another 20 minutes would go by. I asked if she could bring out a bread basket to at least get something in the stomachs of these hungry children (and my stomach too). She said she'd so right away, but nope. Finally after I waved down several more staff our food came out. I believe it was about 90 minutes after placing the order. The food itself was fine and I think the ahi tuna nachos were the winner. When the waitress walked by again I immediately asked for the check because had a feeling that would take another hour. At this point I nicely explained my disappointment with the meal, but she just smiled at me and walked away. And as we were walking up the bread basket we had asked for at least an hour beforehand showed up. You'd think it was freshly baked bread for the amount of time, but the bread was as hard as rocks. This entire experience was 1-2 stars, but since I've had good experiences in the past and it was a busy weekend we'll go with 3 stars, but I won't be running back there during future trips. And I'll definitely stay away during busy weekends!

First night of vacation in the Sun Valley area and my friend, who has been here many times, took us…read moreto this spot. It was off season and right next to the ice skating rink, which made for a fun setting. This is exactly the kind of place to order a martini (blue cheese stuffed olives, of course) and it did not disappoint. Hubby and I split the corn chowder, which was delicious, and the meatloaf entree, which I am still thinking about two days later. Our waiter Aleksa was an absolute delight. Even the bathrooms were gorgeous.

The windows are dirty, the baseboard heaters don't wok and have cracked paint and the rugs are dirty and tired too. We had a nice time but the building and room felt they were in a time warp and in need of some TLC. Service by Terry was professional and fun at the same time. We still don't know what the meal cost. There were no prices on the menu and our friends paid so we are not sure. Probably very pricey! The manhattan was perfect, not too sweet and quite large! The antipasto board was decent but not spectacular. A few pieces of cheese, some jam, cornichons and hot smoked Idaho trout. It was served with lackluster crispy flatbread crackers. The butternut squash soup was really tasty. A really hearty portion, it was a bit coarse in texture and could have been blended a tad longer to make it smoother and more luxurious. the flavor was great with the pepita topping. The pork chop I chose was a mistake. Really overcooked, a tad dry and drenched in a sickeningly sweet apple compote that was more like dried apples rehydrated in sugar water with some spices. The best thing on the plate was the parsnip puree and there was not much of that. Wish I had ordered the braised lamb shank, however Terry did not mention that in his top three... Dessert was way better than it sounded. It was called a banana cheesecake however it was really a light banana flavored mousse between two layers of sponge cake with cooked banana puree on top. The chocolate dessert was fine. No one could finish it given the large portions of everything. It's a solid 3.5 stars, can't give it four.
