The gals behind the counter were nice but clearly running around like chickens. The website is down (and has been for a while, and still is as I post this review 10 days later), which is always a drag because I like to preview the menu and cross reference with Yelp photos. When I mentioned it, they were a little snotty, so I dropped it. I ordered two sandwiches, the hot roast beef and the ham and apple. Instead, I received the meatball sandwich in place of the roast beef. Honestly, I was fine with it, but the lady doubled down and insisted I had ordered the meatball one. Spoiler alert, I did not. The ham and apple had barely a whisper of apple, so the meatball ended up being the winner of the two. The real stars here though are the cookies. Yes, they are overpriced, but they are delicious. The peanut butter based ones are the champions in my book.

This quaint shop that has doubled in size since our last visit. We ordered at the counter and waited for our Reuben sandwich and a Ceaser salad. The Reuben had corned beef, 1000 Island dressing, saur kraut on marble rye. The corn beef was chewy and the bread needed to be toasted. Quickly, the sandwich was deconstructed. The flavor was ok but very messy. The salad was split for us and had romaine lettuce, shredded parmesan, croutons and dressing. The salad was crisp and fresh but the salad tasted like a bunch of individual ingredients and not a blended meal. The dressing was also scant. I forgot to photograph the meal but don't feel it would change my opinion. The ingredients were solid but the meal tasted like the items were stacked and no effert was made to blend them together. I don't feel I need to return to Big Belly Deli. The staff was sweet and hard working. It is not what I expect at a deli. They are obviously doing well as they have expanded and are still in business after our last visit over 12 years ago.

We were told just take a seat anywhere we'd like. Our waitress came over took our drink order with which she returned promptly and started just chatting with us giving us time to look over the menu. We asked her what some of her favorites were and decided to go with the spinach queso dip for an appetizer. It did not disappoint. Very creamy and served with the perfect portion of chips to scarf it up. Our waitress took into account and times our main course just right as our burgers came out just as we finished the queso. First off the juicy Lucy was super delicious. I gave mine time to cool down just a bit because the cheese is packed inside the burger. My wife and I order the same I had fries with mine and she had the fried cheese curds. This here lemme tell ya was worth the entire trip up there. I think I ate most of her cheese curds. They were so good and delicious but here's the kicker, the standard dipping sauce is ranch but our awesome waitress suggested caramel sauce. My wife and both looked at each other with a perplexed look but decided to go with it. She brought the caramel sauce and reluctantly I tried it. OMG!!! It was like a chewy waffle with buttery maple flavor. It was epic would definitely take a drive up there just for those bad boys.

Slow cooked chicken & onions in a mole chili paste with kale slaw, goat cheese and house made habanero x jalapeño hot sauce in a soft flour tortilla. Bar service was efficient and professional - a decidedly locals spot on the northern edge of main street which is exactly what I'm looking for!

The owners, Tanya and Billy Olson keep an eagle eye on the food and service. The usual bartender, Paul, is surly ;), but is efficient and knows his beers. There's a lot to know, 20 beers on tap, probably 50 or more bottles including a nice selection of non- alcoholic. The king of beers, Billy Olson, often holds court at the end of the bar. He has a formidable knowledge of all things beer AND bicycles. The restaurant is also a bicycle shop, a great bicycle shop, repair and sales. The walls and the bar top are adorned with old and new bicycles. Oh, the best fries I've ever put in my mouth. Only open evenings, closed only Wednesday.
