Peekaboo is located on the 101st floor of Hudson Yards! The place is upscale, with gorgeous views. We got a quick drink at Peak, as Peakaboo only opens at 11 PM. We visited on a Friday night and they had an amazing band playing. The drinks were well made, and we got some Eastside shots for the table. These with the side of tajin cucumber were perfect! Will definitely be back to try some of the other cocktails and music!

It was an ok bar but dont think I will be going back anytime soon until it is more established. Even though it is advertised as a fun bar with a dj, the vibe was very boring and the music was too bland for a Friday night. We made a reservation through email and received a prompt response. Once we arrived there on time, we were told that our table wasn't ready - but it was right at the opening. Peakaboo opens at 11pm and our reso was for 11:15. Also, the staff was judgmental and made us wait even though they were seating first other people that arrived after us. The waiters only got friendly when we ordered bottles of champagne. I truly dislike this behavior and was an immediate turn off for me. The view is gorgeous as expected but you can only really enjoy it if you sit next to window. We also ordered some dishes to share which were tasty (especially the beef tartare).

Made us wait nearly 20 minutes past our reservation time and we ended up walking out. Super tacky.

Great experience overall ... with a decent view of the fireworks show.... Drinks were overpriced…read moreand the DJ's music was a bit too over the top. Not the place to bring someone who may forget who they came with lol . The service was mediocre at best.. and there were not enough seats inside to accommodate more of the crowd..

This place has so much potential it's honestly a little offensive that it's not living up to it…read more Like... you walk in and you feel like something should be happening. The energy is right there, hovering, but it never actually lands. It's giving "almost iconic" but not quite--like a party that never fully starts. And that's what gets me. Because this bar could EASILY be that spot. The kind people plan their week around. Where are the themed nights? Where's the drama? The chaos? Give me a reason to come back on a random Wednesday. Do a city-event tie-in, a holiday takeover, literally anything that makes it feel alive instead of just... existing. Because right now it feels like a missed opportunity wearing a cute outfit. BUT--let's talk about the one thing they absolutely did not fumble: the view. The VIEW??? Insane. Genuinely stunning. The kind of view that makes you pause mid-sentence and remember you're in New York and not just spiraling in your own life choices. It's carrying the entire experience on its back, respectfully. So yeah. I'd come back... but mostly for the view and the potential. If they ever decide to actually do something with this space? It could be dangerous (in a good way). Until then, it's vibes... just not fully realized ones.
