We had a great time at the Tipsy Nomad. I had contacted them for a work event of about a group of 10 people and they were really nice and helpful. I would highly recommend Tipsy Nomad for a nice after work happy hour or a casual fun night out. Ambiance: we had a great area to sit in and it felt like our own private space. It was a round wide booth type set up so everyone was able to see/talk to each other. Service: Brendan was great. He helped with the set up and checked in on us too. Service was really fast and the waitstaff would came and check in on us often. Food: we got the classic pizza and the cheeseless one too. I really like the crust, it was the right amount of crispy. The sauce was well seasoned and complemented the crust. The best part, they have fresh free popcorn, such a great munch snack. Drinks: they had a great happy hour for drinks. An amazing first experience, my coworkers and I went to lunch and clearly at peak hours because the bar was packed. We sat at a table and quickly realized the sole bartender was the only person working besides the kitchen staff of course. Veronica was so wonderful and didn't miss a beat in terms of service. We made it easier for her and ordered at the bar which was fine. The food was actually amazing for "bar food" the pizza was surprisingly delicious. I'm so mad I didn't take photos. The buffalo lemon pepper wings could have been a little spicier in my opinion but I just added hot sauce. The margaritas were standard but good as well. Will definitely be back and hope Veronica has a little bit more help next time, even though she handled it very well. read more

What an awesome experience, having my birthday here! Brenden the owner is very chill, and the staff are such a sweet delight. I came here for an engagement party originally, and I really like the space so I decided to inquire for it on my bday. If for those who want to party here, the deets are as follows: -Know how many people you want to bring -Decide if you want an open bar package because you need to give a list of names (you can just have it as an open tab for everyone though, so everyone pays for their own tab) -You have beer pong available -You may bring your own desserts and decorations -They sell pizza and wings, and as someone that's not super big on wings, holy moly these are the best wings I've ever had! -keep in mind it's an upscale sports bar, so don't be afraid to dress up like I did! There are also different "sections". I had a group of 30, so I got the smaller space, but if you have a group like 50 or more, there's a bigger spot in the back with a private bar. I had a semi-private space, but dedicated staff helping out. Overall, I am coming back here as I absolutely loved it so so much, and Brenden is the coolest guy out there. We were sitting near the gigantic stone art piece where they filmed the reunion scene in "Past Lives". We kept saying "Waah...waah" just like in the movie. I think it's Korean for "Holy f**kballs!!" Hell, I don't know Korean since I got fired from my boy band. I must be in a George Santos kind of mood. Anyway, we were making our way back to the hotel when we saw this empty brick-and-wood tavern was open. It had a long bar, and we noticed they were serving $10 Espresso Martinis. Came here to grab a quick drink before dinner one day. It was incredibly crowded and loud--between the music and all the other guests talking, I had to shout to my friend for us to have a conversation. It's also relatively dimly lit that when we left, I was surprised by the brightness outside. If this is the vibe you are looking for in a bar (crowded, loud, dimly lit type of party), this is the place for you! It's not ideal as a chill place to chat with a friend given how busy it is. We also initially couldn't get two seats at the bar and had to stand. Luckily someone next to us left shortly after so we got their seat. I will say even given how busy it was, the service was great. We were able to order drinks pretty quickly and when we were almost done, the bartender came up to ask if we wanted another round. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite after shopping before heading home. Pretty empty but it could it was Monday evening around 430pm. Took a seat at the bar, smiling, happy bartender came over to take order. What I wanted the shrimp BLT was no longer on the menu. Bit disappointed, ordered the grill chicken with avocado Swiss cheese with chipotle dressing. The fries a bit crispier than I like and a tad salty but otherwise pretty tasty. Hey it's bar food, no wow factor but still enjoyable. Bar itself I would say good for watching games. It's a bit more chic with the leather sofa lounging area. Definitely good for groups. Has an ATM e route to bathroom not sure if working or decoration lol. Bathrooms updated and well kept. Plus for me, paper towels. Hate washing hands only to have to open doors with clean hands.. yuck! Cool spot to hang with friends or group outing for drinks. Me and a couple of friends came here for happy hour before going to a concert and I'm happy we stumbled across this place. Firstly the bartender Asa was awesome. She was very attentive, friendly and let me charge my phone behind the bar haha. A very unique thing about this bar was the bottomless free popcorn to munch on while drinking. They have happy hour specials ALL DAY including $5 bud light drafts and $7 or $8 shots. We only ordered pizza to eat. We ordered a margarita pizza and chicken parm pizza. The chicken parm was pretty good for bar pizza. The margarita seemed to be cooked earlier than the chicken parm so it wasn't hot and fresh. They have a lounge area and ping pong also. Fries on menu is $6, was charged $12 ($12 for fries tho, come on) and the even though they gave me the incorrect order of a chicken sandwich instead of the burger, the menu price for chicken sandwich is $11 and I got charged $14. read more

We were able to find a table on the side where we could all huddle with our drinks and talk and just enjoy the vibes. Service was good! The raspberry lemonade was delicious. Last time I was here (last week) the guy packed my food for me so I could take it. He also mentioned it and it's busy at this moment as I write this. I remember a time when it was not like middle America in the city no matter if it was a total dive or not. They would take your plate and out would come your soon to be shit in a to-go container. Miss those days. Oh and yes it took longer than normal to get my first round and then the keg kicked so I had to switch after my first (because I was thirsty lol) it all got back on track quickly. This place used to be named Snafu 28. It is not a fancy bar but it has a very nice vibe. The bartender Ray is especially friendly and energetic. The front area is long and narrow, but in the back you will find spacious lounge chairs with leather seating. They offer many beers for only $7 or $8 and there are several large screen TVs. Had a stellar experience here 11/8/24. Scheduled a meetup with some friends for 6:30. Joyce greeted me and set us up with a table, letting us know it was reserved but not for a few hours. The manager (sorry I forgot to get his name) was attentive; checked in with us several times. All the bartenders and servers were on point with friendliness and service. PROS: This place was a nice bar to go hang out at after work. A large group of my friends and I were easily accommodated in this lounge area and was served by nice waitresses. It has a private party room, lounge areas, tall tables, and a nice long bar crowded with TVs to watch your fav game. CONS: There wasn't that much room to walk around since the space is small. At the same time I saw 4 lounge sections but about 7 groups of 7+ people there, leaving 3 of the groups standing around which clogs the walking room.
