We both ordered their smothered chicken dinner; I highly recommend it! Everything was cooked perfectly. Even their side salad was excellent. On another visit we tried their Spaghetti & meatballs (excellent taste with good ratio of sauce to pasta) with the biggest piece of garlic bread we have ever seen; along with their BALT sandwich (also very tasty). Extremely slim pickings for food around this part of town, especially if you are around during the weekdays and need dinner. We did a Crater Lake National Park trip and stayed in the area for a couple of nights. This restaurant is located inside the casino and you can get gas too. The hours are generous and menu is vast (for being in a small town). Where we stayed had a microwave and fridge, so we decided to order larger portions of our meals to eat the leftovers the next night. We got the chicken parm and a full rack of ribs. The house salad was surprisingly good - crisp romaine (no sad iceberg here) with some tomatoes and cucumbers. The chicken parm was not good - large portions and the accompanying garlic bread was delish. The ribs were tender, sauced well, and was definitely the tastier entree out of the 2. It seems like the consensus for the reviews are to stick with the burgers, steak, and ribs. The service was pretty half-hearted, but to be expected since they seem like they are perpetually understaffed. In the town of Chiloquin, where we were based for our visit to Crater Lake National Park, eateries were very few. Our choices were Peak to Peak, a pizza shack, or gas station hotdogs. We decided to eat at Peak to Peak since it was a 3 minutes walk. This place was located inside a casino. It was busy and was a 15-minute wait for us. We ordered ribeye steak, patty melt, Alfredo, and country fried steak. For the sides, we had house salad, mashed potatoes, and steamed veggies. The meal was a mixed bag. The ribeye and country fried steak were cooked correctly and tasted great. The patty melt was a horror show. The rye bread was burn and the grilled onions were overcooked. There was too much cream sauce in Alfredo. All the sides were ok except for the steamed veggies. The veggies were overcooked and became limpy. Table service was friendly. The waitress was overworked. She didn't have time to clear our salad plates or refill our water. There was no bus person to help. Prices were fine for such a remote eatery. Mixed feelings on the food between the two of us. To begin with my cheeseburger and fries were hot and amazing. It was absolutely perfect. That alone would make this place a 5*. My husband on the other hand ordered a taco salad and didn't eat it. He thought it was bad and didn't think it was fresh. Not sure that's true but what is true is that he did not eat it and tossed it. That would equal a 1*. Our server was great. There were no complaints there. However, when we mentioned how cold it was in there she agreed that it was cold but told us "SHE" keeps warm because she's working. So, in the meantime my husband had to walk out to our rig to get us two jackets. We weren't the only ones that had to do that. Two other tables did. One had a party of 6 and the other a party of 2. This restaurant is only a few miles from us but we never stopped there since it's in a casino and we don't gamble. We have friends who recommended it. Even if you don't gamble, get a players card. It will get yo $5 off at the restaurant. My wife had the BLT and I had a hamburger. Both were better than we expected. Service was great. Restaurant was clean. We will be going back. I wouldn't recommend the slots. We got $15 in free play with players club. Lost it all in less than 10 minutes. read more

On our way to Idaho on the 97, everyone in the car was hungry. We saw the Kla-Mo-Ya Casino with food specials on their sign so we decided to stop at their restaurant. This is a mixed review because the service is horrible but the food was great! First, we sat down, a waitress wiped our table down but left it wet, so my boyfriend went up and got napkins to dry it off. Then we sat there for over 8 min without anyone acknowledging we were there. We were just about to leave when the waitress finally came to greet us and take our order. Drinks were served, orders were placed. Food came out about normal time. Once the food was served we NEVER saw our waitress for the whole time we were eating! And we didn't receive any napkins. We had to ask another waitress passing by for napkins. It would have been nice to be checked on at least once as we all could've used a refill of our drinks and napkins. Now onto the food. The spinach and artichoke dip was wonderfully gooey with a perfect portion of spinach and artichoke pieces. Topped with extra parmesan cheese. Chips seemed fresh and warm. Perfect appetizer before your meal. When we got our food, everything was hot, freshly cooked. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and the ingredients seemed fresh. Tator tots and fries were hot, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The chicken fried steak was cooked just right, crispy on the outside but still tender that a fork could cut it. Maybe a little too much gravy but very good and went perfect with the chicken fried steak. The mashed potatoes tasted like homemade. The salad that came with the chicken fried steak seemed fresh and the blue cheese dressing actually had real blue cheese chucks. So if you are hungry and in the area, try this place out but you may want to do take out. read more

We arrived into the area late and it looked like only 2 places were open. With PtoP being the closest to the turnoff for our hotel, we decided to give them a try. The casino is very small which we did not decide to partake in. The restaurant is fairly small itself and minimally decorated. The staff is friendly and the food came out in no time. I passed through Chiloquin on a family road trip again in July 2014, and in light of my stellar experience at this restaurant in 2012 and 2013, I stopped again for dinner. It pains me to say that the quality of the dining experience has disintegrated here. During my past visits, I was impressed that the cigarette smoke from the gaming floor did not permeate the restaurant. The short walk from the casino entrance to the restaurant was always smoky, but once I was inside the restaurant, the air was much cleaner. Alas, that was not true on my most recent visit. The smell of cigarette smoke was so pungent in the restaurant that we decided to order our food to-go and eat in the car. The menu has also changed since my original visit in 2012. The eye-catching entrees featuring Pacific salmon and elk have disappeared, and the menu now features common pub fare like burgers, sandwiches, meatloaf, etc. The food is still surprisingly delicious, though. Our server accommodated our request to take our food to-go, but she was very unenthusiastic and made several mistakes on our orders. We checked the food and caught some of the mistakes before we left, but we discovered others once we were in the car. Considering the food quality and flavor, this is still a good place to eat, but the uninspired menu and apathetic service make it far less impressive than my first visit. If you are going here for a romantic dinner well I would say don't. If you just need to eat. Then this place will do. I had the cob salad and it was fine. The price was good and there is a lot of salad. My husband had the chicken sandwich and it was fine. It could have been a better experience if the waitress was at all nice.. we wanted to sit in a booth but she didn't want to clear off the dirty plates.. so we sat at a table with some uncomfortable chairs. Not fun when you have been driving for 6 + hours. Then we get our food and no silverware.. she was a real smart ass about that. She did bring us a fork and when I asked for a knife she said she would have to go wash one .. they ran out! They really need to get a friendly staff could have made our experience so much better! read more

I walked in and got automatic bad looks from all workers because I was with my SERVICE dog. My girls and I had been on the road for 5 hours and decided to stop and eat. They completely went out of there way to try and embarass us and say my dog wasn't a service dog because my reason for why I made him a service dog did not "qualify" and we could not eat there because of him. I found it completely offensive that my disability did not "qualify" to eat in this low caliber excuse of a restaurant. They treated us like criminals honestly. Onion rings, tater tots, and fries were BOMB! Honestly some of the best onion rings and tater tots I've ever had--not what I expected from a casino restaurant! The bread on my burger was a bit too big, but the quality of the ingredients and the way the meat was cooked was wonderful. The chicken strips were great as well! Beer was pretty good and the cocktail was watered down (what do you expect from a casino?). The service was very attentive and friendly! The food and service is way too good for how cheap it costs! I came here for dinner after realizing that it was the only after 9pm option in the area. It was easy to find and get to, being located right on the highway. Upon sitting down I was given a menu after about a 5 minute wait, and my order was taken 20 min later. About 15 minutes later, the food had arrived. It was the triple seven burger and country fried steak. To my disappointment, the fried steak was really a fried burger patty flattened paper thin. The burger arrived slightly under cooked, and without all of the toppings included on the menu, the most noticeable missing element was the bacon and bun. So instead of the burger coming on a bun, it came on two slices of bread. The french fries that came with both steak and burger were good, but heavily over salted. The only thing that came out of the kitchen that was not disappointing was the ketchup. From the other reviewers, it seems like this place has once had some good food, I am sad to say that this was not my experience. I would not recommend stoping here to eat. read more

My husband and I are staying in Chiloquin (while visiting Crater Lake) and this restaurant was one of four choices for dinner. The menu featured home style food like meatloaf or pot roast with mashed potatoes and gravy. There were few, if any, healthy choices on the menu and nothing that didn't include meat, dairy or both. My husband didn't mind at all, but the menu was limiting for my preferences. Coming from a big city with hundreds of choices, I realize I'm a bit spoiled. I ended up with a hamburger and fries. I thought my meal, along with my husbands meatloaf (manufactured patties, not slices from a loaf) reminded me a lot of dorm food in college. On the plus side, the service was really good and the prices were cheap. A microbrew for $3 and the meals were only $10-12. The cheap prices made up for the smelly cigarette smoke! We had a late dinner here, 10:30pm, the menu looked good. We were not expecting good service or good food, we got both here! We travel full-time in an RV, we had FREE overnight parking in a huge, pretty quiet parking lot right off of the highway. We decided to try the breakfast special, $1.97 you get 2 eggs, hashbrowns, 2 bacon a biscuit and coffee, (there are other choices as well) kidding me?! And it was delicious!! We love breakfast, and really this was by far the best tasting breakfast we've had in a longtime other than home cooking. Great prices, good food and friendly service. The decor is nice too, usually you get the obnoxious casino decor, not here. Everyone is super friendly, even the security guards, who look intimidating, smile as you come in and when you leave :) The only complaint I would have is that the service was a bit slow, took awhile to be seated as well as getting our food. We were in search for dinner after a hike in May. All restaurants in the area closed early, like 5pm early. This place was our only option unless we drive to Klamath Falls. We didn't have high hopes, and figured it'd be standard diner food. Oh were we wrong! Service was horrible. When we arrived to the hostess post, there was no one there. It took staff 10 mins to acknowledged us, and about 5 mins or so to seat us. Even then, we didn't get menus and drinks until another 15-20 mins later. My husband ordered the fish & chips, which he described tasting the freezer burn taste, but fries were fine. I ordered the Parmesan chicken, but got Alfredo chicken. The noodles and chicken are swimming in Alfredo sauce, which was over powered by a lot of spices. The waitress appeared stressed and over worked, which I'm sure she was, but at the same time she didn't seem interested in trying to make our experience better. I've been to restaurants where staff are over worked, but they still make efforts to make our experience as good as possible. As soon as our waitress dropped off our food, she quickly left, so I couldn't even tell her my order was wrong. Not knowing when she'll return, I decided to try and eat the wrong order. We were lucky she refilled our drinks once. The only thing that moved quick or right was the waitress got our check and ran our payment at a fairly efficient time. Our meal cost about $40, not including tip, which I felt was way too expensive! Even Denny's have way better food for a more reasonable price. I would NOT recommend this place! Horrible all around. I'd expect that they'd offer a substitute, or just a discount on an item from the rest of the menu. Nope, no accommodations to their failure to plan.
