Avoid like the Plague. Driver showed up 30 minutes before our "final" departure time for the airport, and just took off. We were stranded in Breckenridge. Driver claimed he texted us of the time change in the morning, but the night before we had already received our "final" departure time, so we saw no need to have our phone on (and waste battery) to check texts. No offer to reimburse us for all the costs we incurred as a result of being stranded, only a worthless credit towards another shuttle, like we go here monthly. Use Summit Express, instead. Benjamin Daniel was our shuttle driver very nice guy and very informative once we crossed the tunnel which he reminded us that there was going to be change in altitude. As we continued our way he pointed out different mountains in the area. We got to our destination and helped remove our bags from the shuttle he got us as close to our rental as possible. My Peak 1 Express transportation experience was by far the best I've ever had traveling in the mountains. This due mostly to our driver, Tina Marie. Her customer service is impeccable. Her knowledge of the highways and byways, along with aid from dispatch, made it possible to get from my pickup to the Denver airport in the shortest time possible. Where do I begin to review how HORRIBLE PEAK ONE EXPRESS is....they were late picking us up. The van smelled like old burgers and onions. The driver was extremely large and ate while driving....the entire way from Vail to Denver. I feared for my safety as we wizzed by cars and trucks on the highway. And when we got to the airport, the driver forgot to give us all our luggage. We immediately realized the driver didn't didn't give us my large brimmed hat. We called right away and they said the driver couldn't turn around and they promised they would send it to us. They never have. We have called many many times. The hat was not only expensive, but has sentimental value. Peak One Express obviously doesn't care about its clients safety or their possessions. We would never use them again!! read more

Was traveling from Vail to DIA on Jan 1 and was booked the recommended 2:50 shuttle time for a 7:15pm flight. I questioned this to start as it's a busy travel day, but Peak1 is supposed to be the expert. Then the shuttle arrived ~30-35 minutes late. We called Peak 1 to see why the bus was late, and we were told this was because the driver couldn't find two passengers at an earlier stop. The entire shuttle was missing their flights, so as we distressed strangers were talking, we deduced that customer service was LYING to us about why the bus was late. They had NO REASON. If it was because of inclement weather, why didn't Peak1 say so on the phone? Around Vail Pass everyone on the bus realized we would be missing our respective flights. With poor cell service, we had a friend still in Vail call Peak1 to see if they would help cover costs (a longshot, but why not). Peak1 told our friend that our shuttle was pulling up to the airport any minute now. In reality, we still had 2+ hours of driving left. ANOTHER LIE. We ended up barely missing our flight. If the shuttle wasn't 30 minutes late, we (and others on the suttle) would've made it on time. I understand that things happen -- and poor weather/traffic can catch anyone off guard. What I can't understand is being lied to about it during a stressful time. Awful costumer service. Unreliable transportation. And an all-around clusterf**k. Will never use Peak1 again. read more

I called and the person put me on hold another 30 minutes while he tried to track down the driver of the next shuttle. I recently took a trip to Vail and used Peak one express as my transportation from Denver airport to Vail, Colorado. I cannot recommend them enough, they are extremely professional, punctual in terms of pick up and drop off and very respectful of all passengers, making everyone feel very comfortable. We were stuck on the mountain pass for over eight hours, because of weather conditions and the drivers made sure to update us, give us bathroom breaks, ensure we could stretch/get food, and most importantly ensure our safety so we can get down the mountain into the airport safe and sound. At times, the mountain conditions affected the roads and the driver made sure to drive careful and slow, never taking his eyes off the road and always communicating ETA. I recommend them to any and all passengers and I want to thank peak one for being a part of an amazing trip! read more

Very disappointed with Peak 1 Express Services. Shuttle picked us up 2 hours late and me and my son lost our flights (we and other passengers in our shuttle). Had to buy new flights for $2,000 USD to get home and due to the holiday season we had to take separate flights and it took us 24 hours to get home. What disappoints me most is that we did not get any notification that the shuttle was late. We were standing in the cold and snow for 2 hours because we did not want to miss our shuttle. Called the hotline 3x (waited 20+ minutes every time) to receive the message that the shuttle would arrive in 10 minutes, which obviously never did. I do have to say that the drivers were very polite. Will choose another transport option for my skiing trip next year. read more

If they had been upfront and honest in the first place a lot of pain and hassle could have been prevented. Currently sitting in the van, it's 630am. The driver is having the loudest full blown conversation with a woman in the in the front seat flirting with her not paying attention to the roads. I've been listening to this conversation now that doesn't stop for over an hour Will never use this service again ever!! The voice of this driver telling his life story with his one hand on the wheel on a snowy highway while speeding through the mountain will haunt me. Please shut up and pay attention to the road. Clean, comfortable, timely and easy. Our driver Ed was polite, hilarious and a skilled driver. A friend and I shuttled from DIA to Vail and were laughing the entire ride hearing Ed's stories. Several of his clients have been riding with him for years, and it's easy to see why--we couldn't help but give him a great big hug for all of his help! The route itself was painless and seamlessly took us door-to-door from our airline to our lodge. I contacted the main office twice with questions and about an item I had left in the vehicle. My flight got delayed as I was on the phone with the driver 5 minutes after flight landed as I'm running to him, he said he doesnt wait for customers and left. I had to pay a $160 uber to get to my final destination. Worst part is I called in to get a refund that was offered by the dispatcher and management blindly recites policies, didnt care about a customer or what they were told and didnt help at all. Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience with Peak 1 Express. We showed up at 4:15pm for our 4:30pm shuttle to discover that it had been delayed by an hour. No huge problem, I guess, until we discovered several other passengers were also there at 4:15 still waiting for a 10:30am shuttle that never came. Chaos ensued. The 10:30am passengers were told they'd get a seat on the 4:30 (now 5:30) shuttle, but the 4:30 was already full. We all tried to call/text/email Peak 1 to figure out who would be going when the 4:30 arrived, but they seemed deeply confused by the whole situation and kept insisting firstly that there was no 10:30 shuttle, secondly that no one had missed their 10:30 shuttle, and thirdly that the 10:30 passengers would fit in the remaining, single seat that the 4:30 had left. When we pointed out that this wouldn't happen, the staff got very exasperated. I guess I'd say rude, though obviously I understand they were also stressed. I asked if we'd received a discount for the delay (the 4:30 ending up not arriving until 5:45) or a refund in the event that they couldn't accommodate us all and was told no, it was our fault, so there would be no discount or refund. Please be cautious when choosing to ride with Peak 1. There are many other services available--I know because I watched them come and go perfectly on time. read more

Just visited Breck this past week for the first time. I opted to shuttle in from Denver airport and selected Peak 1 Express. GREAT experience. My shuttle was due to arrive at 2:30 p.m. and I was told there was a 15 minute window. I was having a cup of coffee in DIA and got a text from Tim saying he was outside at the meeting point. When I walked out he called me by name and took my luggage. I hopped in with 6 other passengers and we were off. Tim was personable and provides a lot of insights and history about the region along the way to Breckenridge. On the return, I had another driver and it was the same deal, except he (Mike) just played some music and pointed out where we'd be able to spot long horned sheep. We got to DIA within 2 hours and it was great being shuttled. Price is good @ $45 one way. Customer service is professional. Drivers are mature and nice - reputable. The shuttles are really nice. Overall a very distinct concierge type service for a small fee. I will recommend and use their services going forward read more

We cancelled a bus for 14 college students 18 hours in advance due to COVID19 and closing of the Summit ski slopes. A promised return call from a manager never happened THEN, the driver calls the next morning wondering where we were. NOW, they refuse to return my money because we cancelled too late. They did refund my advanced $60 tip and a voucher for next year, but I have no plans for skiing there next year or using a bus for 14 people. My cancellation during a world wide pandemic did not cost them anything. They are stealing my money. I would not use this company. read more

We booked Peak 1 Express leaving Vail, CO to Denver International Airport. The car was completely full and we paid for 3 adults that they crammed into the last bench in the back. One of the seats was against the window on the far left side with the wheel well so that you cannot extend your legs. All other rows were for 3 people, which if we sat there would have been fine. When I called for an adjustment the told us, no. 2 1/2 hours without being able to put your leg down is not acceptable and they would only offer 15% on our next trip and no adjustment for the most uncomfortable 2 1/2 hour ride. We had a shuttle booked to Denver International from Breck Station (company who shall remain nameless). 5 min prior to pickup we received a text message indicating that due to inclement weather, all shuttles were canceled for the day. We received an email alerting us to make new flight arrangements, overnight accommodations, etc. My husband saw the Peak 1 Express shuttle and I ran from the station to ask the driver where he was headed and if there was room. Chris, our driver, quickly gave me the phone number for reservations and within 5 minutes we were on the shuttle and headed to the airport! Bravo! Made our flight with time to spare. When you run group shuttles, you need to have policies in place. You cannot wait 30 minutes on one passenger. 11/12 of us were at the correct stop at the correct time. We then waited 30 minutes and ultimately had to drive around looking for the final passenger. Multiple flights were missed. Our driver was wonderful, and we felt very safe with him. But you cannot run a company where drivers can't leave behind passengers who fail to show up. read more
