I had a very unpleasant experience while riding with this company. I work in the vail area and my car is currently not working. I was picked up and my ride was approximately 10 min long. The driver was very rude throughout the drive. When I got out of the cab, he rolled down the window and literally yelled at me. "Your not going to tip me huh!!" I was shocked at how loud he yelled and people around me heard it. I was so embarrassed. I had a hard time affording the cab fair alone. This was nice and easy and smooth. I made the reservation and they gave me a good price, They showed up slightly early and waited until we were ready and then helped us load up. Smooth and safe drive to the airport, unloaded us and we were good to go. Couldn't have been easier or better. We would definitely use them again. read more

Took taxi from Vail Transportation Center to Avon town center. As soon as I got in the cab, Casey, driver claimed that his iPad has overheated and he couldn't put his meter on. Apparently got a quote from dispatch, Alex, that it costs $38 for this ride. iPad miraculously worked when my credit card was charged about 10 mins later. Do yourself a favor and try Uber, which was approximately $20 at the time. Next up for complaint - Vail resort and Eagle Sheriff department Update 1. Spoke to a Matt instead of Nash responding. Until I posted my Yelp review RideTaxi ignored me. Trying to discredit me by my tone is too funny and subject to legal action. 2. Purpose of review is to indicate cheaper alternatives for tourists. I paid $64 to travel from Denver airport to Vail Transportation Center. At least with Uber, I know exactly what I'm paying before phone melts away 3. Booked a taxi from Breckenridge to DEN, received a Booking Confirmation. Called the 970 number when we saw no taxi and were informed "oh, we don't go to Breckenridge". We asked why the online booking was confirmed. Operator said "not my problem". read more

We used Ride Taxi a couple of times this past weekend traveling between Vail and Avon. The drivers were both right on time, and very nice and friendly, but the van was filthy and had over 200,000 hard driven miles on it. Lucky for us as we got the same Van #4 for both of our trips. It had electrical wires, from the sliding doors automatic closing system, just dangling and hanging exposed outside the van. It was not a very reassuring look. They got us to our destination, so that's good, but they could really use an upgrade to their vehicles!!! read more

We used Ride for our wedding rehearsal and they were wonderfully accommodating! They were on time, flexible with the amount of vehicles we needed and most importantly affordable. We are locals and use Ride whenever we need transportation. We were pleasantly surprised at the service they provided for our rehearsal dinner!! read more

I really like this company the drivers and dispatchers are very friendly. It's not an awkward cab ride at all. I have used them twice in one day. They are also priced 30% lower than the other taxi companies in Vail. I haven't had to wait more than 10 minutes for a pickup. I have to take cabs because I had to spine surgeries and can't drive. read more

So to start off, we got picked up at 2am by a ride taxi driver and he was completely under the influence to say the least! After reporting the incident, the GM of the company called me and asked for more information (thank gosh) and promised gift cards to be sent to my email. Which, ok sure because yes I shouldn't of paid for It at all, when the driver was swerving off the road!! Great conversation in the car and told me about the app called taxi caller. They were thoroughly pleasant and profession. Liked the van and the ride. I booked this on the web, super easy and $20 cheaper than the Epic van private ride ($137 each way vs $150 each way). Then at the airport a guy in a dirty jacket who smelled like 100 years of smoke met us and off we went. Car was sorta dirty, but whatever...until the driver started texting on the highway. Sometimes having no hands on the wheel. So we cancelled our return Reservation and booked the Epic shared van which was $90 one way with Epic pass discount. Wish I'd booked that, or even the Epic private van originally since I would have paid less on the round trip and had goo, safe service. Ride Taxi is not enough savings to warrant the lack of service and the texting is just a solid no for me. read more

I'm am new to Vail, only 2 weeks here and am originally from Vegas...so the snow has been a bit of a problem for me getting around without my snow tires yet. Today after spending almost $80.00 in 2 days with another taxi company decided to "shop around". Coming from the transportation center to home on Buffehr Creek Rd. I was lucky enough to be quoted about $16 from the dispatch, Elvis, that was very helpful and kind. When Jessie, my driver, picked me up he was personable, great driving in the snow and my fare was only $14.00. Their great app is easy to use and I was even offered to become part of their rewards program to earn discounts etc. Having 4 grown kids in Denver that will be visiting a lot with friends and being a store manager in Vail of Kemo Sabe it is going to be my pleasure to support a local Taxi company like Ride Taxi and make sure that all the tons of tourists coming through my doors know all about them.
