A tale of two rides, Wow what a difference between their standard shared shuttle and their premiere…read moreblack. Standard shared shuttle from the Denver airport into Breckenridge. Older van, with the seats placed as closely together as possible. Sitting in a middle row, my knees were pushed hard into the back of the seat in front of me. The upholstery was shot, I could really feel the metal framing on my butt and back, as well as pushing into my knees. It was a very uncomfortable ride, and at the start of a holiday weekend, it took over an hour of additional time dealing with traffic. They'll get you there, and at a reasonable price, but it will be a long tortuous experience. Booked a private premiere black for the return. Oh, my, what a difference. The SUV was new, extremely comfortable, an absolute pleasure. While, crammed into the van on the way up, I hardly noticed the scenery, on the way back it was a joy to be able to fully appreciate the mountains' beauty. If you can splurge for the private ride, do it. If it seems expensive and you're on the fence, do it. If you do decide on the shared shuttle, just know you'll be spending the time in purgatory. We will ONLY take the private option in the future. They do deserve credit, either way, for being very well organized. Customer service was great, everything ran like clockwork. For the private ride, they sent a text confirmation of the reservation the afternoon before, but nothing they day of; the driver simply showed up in front of the hotel at the arranged time. It would have eased our minds to have the driver at least text that they were on the way or that they had arrived. So how to rate the experience? Given their service was solid, and the private ride was so wonderful, so long as you know what to expect with the shared option, they do what they say they'll do. I just put as 4 to attract the reader's attention long enough to be sure they understand the shared option downsides.

Yesterday I got a call from my teen daughter, who was in Breckenridge visiting family friends. Realizing she was likely going to miss her flight, which was the last one of the day, we were both in a panic. I couldn't get in touch with an actual human at the service I had set up for her, so I began calling company after company with this absurd request-- for someone to pick up my daughter immediately. My luck finally changed when Nick answered the phone at Summit Express. Instead of the quick "no" I had heard from the first five companies I called, Nick put me on hold for a couple of minutes. He came back and asked if my daughter was ready now; he said they would pick her up in 14 minutes! I looked at Life360 less than 15 minutes after hanging up with Nick, and my girl was on the move, driving to DEN! Because of Nick and my daughter's driver, Jeffrey, she made her flight and wasn't stranded alone overnight in Denver. This morning, we were able to celebrate my mom's final day of chemotherapy/radiation in person with her, which would have not been possible if I didn't get so lucky as to find Summit Express and Nick. Going forward, we will only use Summit Express!

Peak 1 Express: I'd use again!…read more I was under the impression the ride was 2-ish hours from the airport to Breckenridge, and I was wrong (which may have been my misunderstanding). The ride is supposed to be *around* 3 hours. We stopped for some folks to transfer, a bathroom stop, then to Silverthorne, then to Breckenridge (which there were 4 different stops for the riders). The ride from the airport to our destination felt much, much longer than my return shuttle. I wish there was a better way to drop folks off on all the small towns on the way (especially when the rentals and cabins are far off the main roads). My first shuttle was half full and it was fairly comfortable for breathing room in between us. I could imagine it being a lot less comfortable if it were a full shuttle (and being on a full shuttle after, I realize how lucky I am to be on a half full shuttle to start). It was on time to pick us up, but we didn't get to leave until closer to 25 mins later due to someone's flight being delayed (also not their fault, drivers arrange with a walkie-talkie system on them fly to talk to the main office to get it sorted). We unfortunately got stuck in about an hour of traffic (to no fault of anyone) and it was high spirits and good tunes. Our driver (Mike?) was so great! He was wonderful to talk to and had lots of stories! My return shuttle was larger and completely full. A little confusing on where to stand in the skier drop lot for Breckenridge, but the driver called me and I was just out of site for him. Drive was great and no traffic this time! My tip is to leave plenty of time from the airport and shuttle, manage your expectations. I could also see a different experience with different drivers/bad weather. From my experience, they do everything in their power to get you where you need to go! I'd use them again.

Bad Colorado weather is their business. We booked a large suv for 4 from eagle to aspen when our…read moreaspen flight was canceled. We got a compact suv and didn't complain. Pricing was high but bad weather requires us to pay. We then tried to book a return from aspen to eagle on short notice. They appeared helpful. The weather cleared and we canceled the ride. WE suggested a cancellation fee and we're quoted IN WRITING $200. I was then charged $575 on my CC. I contacted snowflake to point this out and was greeted with nasty pushback. The company began to make excuses why the written quote wasn't valid. Subsequently snowflake provided a $125 credit and a new bill for $450 even after providing their written quote. Bad business and not honorable people. Will never use them again.
