My driver was great! I hate that I can't remember his name. I think it was Andy(?). Him knowing that our commute from the hotel to the airport would be close to two hours, he offered to allow us to stop for a bathroom break. I thought that was really nice, considering there was a family with young kids riding with everyone. After a long day of flying into Denver, took the shuttle to go to Frisco. Driver missed my stop and went straight to Breckenridge. This added 55 minutes to my journey because we had to track back. I don't want to blame the driver. It looks like the system did not properly indicate where I was supposed to be dropped off and on his manifest it didn't make it clear that it was a Frisco stop. I think the route planning software his company is using was the culprit rather than the driver. I'm super bummed because I missed an entire family dinner during holiday. Had a great experience on our shuttle trip from Breckinridge to DEN. Used the Epic mountain shuttle on both legs of our trip and utilized the 20% discount for Epic pass holders. Jason from Wisconsin was our driver and did a great job of communicating before and during our trip. He had texted us an exact pick up time and got it on the nose, eager to relieve us of our luggage. During the trip there were no mysteries regarding the other short stops we needed to make to pick up other passengers. He was very friendly with everyone and when he told us he'd be happy to stop for bathroom breaks, he was believable. Great driving skills, good pace but smooth on the wheel which helped keep the back row's stomachs at ease on the mountain curves. All in all a great trip and a good value! read more

Buyer beware! Do not trust this service. It may be affordable and your only option, so have a back up plan in place. They will leave you hanging In a pinch, they don't wait for anyone when flights are late. They have crappy customer service. Be prepared. Very surprised to see so many low ratings here. I had nothing but great experiences with EME this past week. I'll admit, the booking part takes some time to navigate, but if you have a firm grasp on your flight details and where you are staying, it's a breeze. Even with changes, I sent emails letting them know of our revisions and the response time was super quick and final confirmation was exactly the changes I requested. Hardest part is finding their space in the Denver airport with all of the construction, but once there, they tell you exactly where to go and send you the instructions via text and they were right on time to shuttle us to Breck. In all honesty, I'd love to see less people in the vans, but the demand is there and everyone was respectful and wearing masks. Can't blame them for having a full load. The service guy at DIA was super nice and even got us on an earlier shuttle since we arrived early. The drivers were both super nice and our return trip was an early pickup (5:45am), and they were at our condo by 5:50am, so no stress and it was a smooth ride back to Denver. Add in the discount you get with your Epic Pass and using EME was a no brainer. Highly recommend. read more

PLEASE Bring water!! You have customers getting off a plane, usually dehydrated OR coming from 10,000 elevation, again dehydrated. It would be an easy and service-driven way to demonstrate you care. Please have bottled water on the shuttle!! Many other companies do it. read more

Had a fantastic experience getting from Denver Airport to Breckenridge last night in the middle of a two-day snow event. I select EPIC because of the larger fleet and that logic proved wise given the challenges on I70 / pass closures, accidents etc. EPIC called me at the airport and pulled me onto an earlier shuttle going to VAIL. They had a van meet us in Frisco, we transferred and made it. The road conditions were very challenging but the drivers drove at respectful speeds and I felt very safe. HIGHLY recommend EPIC Mountain Express. Especially during storms, they have the fleet of vehicles and logistics down to respond and really did their best to make their customers happy. read more

On the CME shuttle right now. Van#7064 traveling from DIA on 6/12. I have traveled on CME countless times and this is easily the worst trip ever. First off all there is a man on the van that is easily 400 pounds. I'm not fat shaming but on a van fit for 10 this gentleman makes it overbooked in my opinion. Put it this way.. there's no way 10 or even 8 people his size could fit in here. So I'm smushed like a sardine with this smelly large man sleeping on me and digging into me the whole time. Furthermore I asked the driver to put the radio on and his reply was, "it'll cut out soon anyway so no bother." First of all wow, the customer service. 2nd of all knowing this CME doesn't have any CDs to play so the van doesn't have to listen to this guy snore. Then at the rest area I asked him if he could accomodate my row and have this man sit in the passenger seat to which he said that someone requested that chair. So essentially keep 1 guy appeased so 3 others can suffer. I'll fly to eagle every time now. Unbelievable. read more

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience my first time using Epic Mountain Express. I had a 8:45am scheduled pickup from Keystone Lodge to DEN airport. The shuttle arrived 15 minutes late, and made one more stop at another hotel, and waited another 15 minutes there for a different Epic vehicle to bring another passenger to combine with our shuttle. The shuttle has a sign to limit cell phone usage out of consideration of other passengers. Understandable as it can be disruptive for someone to be yapping away when there's other passengers in the car. I had a pick up work call so I put my earbuds in and whispered. Within 30 seconds of my call, the driver politely asked me to limit my call. What was hypocritical was that the driver was chatting away with another passenger throughout the 2+ hour ride, and stopped his conversation with the other passenger to ask me to limit my call. There were no other conversations in the shuttle so I and the rest of the passengers were listening to their chitchat for the duration of the trip (I had music in my earbuds and could still hear them). Several times during the trip the driver looked out the window and slowed down to point out views/sites to the passenger (about 10 mph slower than flow of traffic, enough to be noticeable and uncomfortable watching other cars go around us). One on occasion he jerked the steering wheel to get back in the lane after looking out the window Again, the driver was overall polite and friendly, but the enforcement of the cell phone policy and the driver's own behavior were hypocritical. Between this and the schedule issue, I will not be using Epic Mountain Express in the future read more

My experience was pretty good, although many reviews seem bad. I went to Keystone from DEN to attend a meeting, and went to downtown from Keystone. First of all, my flight to DEN was 2 hour delayed, I missed the ride I was supposed to take. However, they put me in the van that departed in 20 min without any additional charge. many plus! Keystone to downtown, I needed to transfer the van, but I was impressed they managed those things, considering American campany. read more

Once again, terrible experience. You see the half empty Mercedes Sprinter vans or suburbans on the highway and always think that's going to be your experience. Instead, you inevitably end up in a 15 year old Ford Econoline van packed to the gills. On this particular occasion we booked the shuttle as a courtesy to our hosts so they wouldn't have to drive us back to the airport. The shuttle was supposed to arrive at 4:15 p.m. That's actually the time they told us to arrive as you aren't given any discretion once you tell them what time your flight is, even though that would have put us at the airport almost three hours before our flight. After waiting for several minutes with no shuttle we flagged down the driver of another shuttle. He graciously agreed to call dispatch for us and we learned that the driver would be at least 15 minutes late. The fact that the driver is late isn't what irks me - it's the fact that there was ZERO communication from the dispatcher until several minutes after that. The communication was a call - that was dropped because of terrible cell service in the area. They had previously sent text messages and emails confirming the ride. However, they were apparently incapable of doing so to let us know they would be late. When the driver finally did arrive he provided the excuse of "gridlocked traffic in Breckenridge". Gee, ya think!!!! It's 4:15 pm on a holiday week and you didn't think there'd be hella traffic? Pretty elementary that you would need to accommodate for that. Breckenridge is 20+ minutes away - plenty of time for a heads up that you didn't plan appropriately so your customers aren't waiting outside in the cold. There happened to be another driver sitting in the same lot. Think it'd be nice or appropriate to let the four people standing in the cold sit in his ride? Nah, he'd rather play on his phone. The ride itself was equally miserable. Obviously when you put 10 adults in a van, dressed for winter, things are going to get a little warm. That, in turn, fogs the windows and the windshield. Unfortunately the old janky van doesn't have split cooling zones so the ONLY option for the driver to clear the windshield is to blast the defroster at 135 degrees. Of course that only makes the van hotter and more moist, and requires more frequent and hotter use of the defroster. There used to be other options than CME/Epic Mountain Express that were consistently rated much, much higher in customer reviews. When booking online their reservation systems looked suspiciously similar to EPE's. As such, I suspect the others may have been bought out, but I can't confirm. Nevertheless, I would do everything in your power not to give Epic Mountain Express your money. They have ZERO concern for your comfort or providing a decent experience. If you go with EPE, expect to be treated like cattle. read more

Our driver, Tommy, is the happiest, friendliest person I have ever met. His outlook on life is fantastic. He cared about everyone on the bus. Had cables to charge electronics, wanted to know if we were comfortable (temperature) and if the curvy mountain ride was too much he would slow down ( he wasn't speeding but to slow down to make the curves less severe). The text updates to check in and on where to find the buses were clear and concise. No problems. It was a great way to travel to the mountains and begin our vacation! read more

Wish I could give the bus company a hug!! Our 15 year old daughter travelled alone to Copper, CO to train with the US Ski Team. We carefully laid out the logistics for her. She had never travelled to Copper plus she's only 15 years old! Unfortunately she lost her wallet which contained all of her money (including her debit card and a credit card). She couldn't recall where or how she lost her wallet. We retraced her steps and contacted Epic Mountain Express to see if they had it, but weren't even sure if she lost her wallet on the bus. (I'm a pessimist so I assumed that she would never see her wallet again and that she'd be without money for a week.) We were delighted to hear that the bus company found her wallet and returned it to her less than a day after she lost the wallet. What a relief! We are thrilled. Rude, apathetic counter service told me to grab my bag prior to booking. I did so, and returned to book my shuttle. The guy next to me heard me request the 11 am shuttle, and said he'd like it. At which point, the ticket was sold to him in spite of me. I have no idea why this was done, I arrived prior to the other customer, who only heard about the ticket because I requested it. This was the last ticket and result in a delay. No apologies or accommodations were offered by the employees. read more

I bought my tickets online & I rang on the morning of to confirm the location as we were leaving from downtown Denver & the instructions were to be picked up at the Hyatt convention center. The phone operator said it was the same as the Colorado convention center. It was not. It is actually at the main entrance of the Hyatt hotel. Luckily we allowed some time but it was not fun dragging our luggages in the snow. Upon arrival, I saw the CME shuttle & they looked like they were about to leave. The driver was surprised we were on the 1300 pickup. He did not have us in his list & I had to show him my receipt (good thing I always print out a copy). After several phone calls we were allowed on - and got the last 2 seats. I would have been moderately upset. The ride up was ok, no complaints. We transferred at Frisco into another shuttle to take us into Breckenridge. read more

I had a fine experience with CME, we left 5 minutes early, the shuttle wasn't too crowded, and we made it to Denver from Silverthorne in good time. It was reasonably comfy and spacious inside because there were only three passengers, and the van has free wi-fi, though I would have appreciated a music-free ride. Awful service and horrible cancellation policy. I canceled my reservation with them more than a week out because our plans changed and they charged $5 per person each way. Just to cancel my reservation ended up costing $50. And like I said this was way outside of the 24 hour cancellation period. If you have a large group that adds up. Summit County is and easy hour and a half for people living in Denver. But it's also very popular as a destination resort for people living in other states and countries. Denver International Airport is the easiest arrival point for most folks. From there you might chose to rent a car, or if you're like me, leaving the driving to the experts. Colorado Mountain Express serves Summit County resorts; Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain. For $70 one way the professional drivers load your stuff into comfortable, well equipped vans for the 1.5 - 2 hour ride to your destination. For $34 the van will deliver you to the Frisco Transfer station. This is a great deal if you have someone in the County to pick you up. (Must be reserved online, at least 24 hours before departure). The vans accommodate skis and lots of luggage. The drivers are always friendly and knowledgable. And finally, the weather can be tricky on the mountain so it's great to have someone who knows the ins and outs of harsh weather driving. Vans leave on the half hour in winter and every 90 minutes the rest of the year. Tips are appreciated. read more

Should have read the reviews before I booked. I had to cancel my reservation less than 24 hours after I made it and they charged me a cancellation fee. REALLY? Even airlines give you a 24 hour cancellation window. Horrible customer service and now that I read all the other lousy reviews, I certainly won't be using them anytime soon. Wanted to post an updated review after spending many hours on the phone with CME and Keystone. I was able to get the entire return trip (Keystone to Denver airport) refunded, and also 25% of the "to" trip (Denver airport to Keystone). They also promised to refund our hotel stay in Denver. "To" Trip (Denver to Keystone): the supervisor at the Silverthorne office, Denise, was very nice & said they would certainly reprimand the driver that dropped us off in the middle of the snow. She said that is against normal protocol, which is to stay with us until we gain entry into our accommodations. Return Trip (Keystone to Denver): Denise said that a flat tire happens once, maybe twice a season, so it is considered a rare occasion. A total refund was given with no questions asked. After all this, I'm honestly not sure if I'd take the CME again. I appreciate how nice they were after the fact, but I just don't know if I'd ever get past all the issues we had on our first trip enough to use them again. read more

Will never use this service again. They would not give me a credit for a paid for ride to Frisco after my wife had several flight delays. Did NOT ask for a refund, just a credit for a future ride. They said NO. Will NEVER again use CME and will tell all of my associates the same. Very poor customer service from management. After management got involved a full refund was issued. Extortionary business practices; avoid by all means and look for any other shuttle service! They unexpectedly change you pick up time with less than a day notice and when you try to cancel they deny you a refund because you're cancelling with less than a 24 hour notice! ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC. ZERO STAR REVIEW. They provided the poorest service I have ever received, endangered our lives during a major snowstorm, and ultimately deserted us halfway to our destination at 4:00AM. To cap it all off, they refused to refund their service charges and refused to pay any part of the hotel costs that they caused us to incur due to their utter incompetence throughout the journey. I am now forced to sue this company to recover the over $1300 in expenses I incurred due to their malfeasance. The shuttle arrived late and we departed a full 45 minutes behind schedule. Due to this delay, heavy snow, and an ill-timed stop at the COMPANY-OWNED GAS STATION halfway to Vail, we arrived at the Vail Pass at 1:15AM only to find it was closed it off just 10 minutes prior. After being turned back from the Pass, we listened in horror at the radio calls between our driver and the company dispatch office to learn that the company had NO CONTINGENCY PLAN WHATSOEVER. Their plan was to take us to a gas station at 2:00AM and wait. When we arrived our driver got our car stuck 3 times, each time requiring 10-12 of us to get out in 4 foot drifts and push the vehicle while our driver fishtailed dangerously. After this, the dispatch office told our driver to take us to Frisco and force us to find hotel rooms. We left along with 2 other cars from the same company. We learned the next day that we left mere minutes before A GAS LEAK occurred that could have killed us (for proof, see: https://kdvr.com/2019/03/07/officials-responding-to-large-gas-leak-near-copper-mountain/). Upon arriving in Frisco at 3:30AM, we found that the company did not even ATTEMPT to find us a hotel and told our driver to have us locate/negotiate our own hotel IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS STORM. Predictably, this lead to an hour of haggling with the 1st hotel that was randomly selected. This hotel rudely informed us that they did not have enough hotel rooms, and they exploited our position by demanding cash. Epic Mountain Express made NO ATTEMPT to rectify this. We finally checked into a 2nd hotel at 4:30AM. The company refused to drive us back to the Airport and refused to consider any alternate routes. Thus we were forced to stay in a last minute hotel on our own dime. After a few hours of sleep, our drivers made us wait around the hotel until 12:00, at which point they took us all to a local eatery for lunch (at our own expense, of course). We were forced to wait at this establishment ALL DAY LONG for the Pass to open. At 5PM, our drivers told us that they had closed the pass for the night and that we were all responsible for YET ANOTHER NIGHT IN A HOTEL. At this point, we and several other passengers asked them to consider a perfectly safe alternate route which was clearly open and safe for use. Our drivers told us that Epic Mountain Express refused to consider that option, and that the ONLY option they would pursue would be the route through the Pass. It became clear at this point that the company would not consider the additional fuel costs and time necessary to pursue an alternative route and their intent was to force us to quit in our attempt to reach our destination. We were forced to take matters into our own hands and hire an Uber driver to take us to the alternate route. We were able to use the alternate route with no issues whatsoever. Upon finally arriving in Vail, nearly 24 hours after our nightmare began, we learned that the Vail Pass had reopened a few minutes prior to our arrival. Of course, none of this impacted the company, since EVERY ONE OF THEIR PASSENGERS HAD ABANDONED THEM AT THIS POINT DUE TO THEIR SHEER INCOMPETENCE. In the end, this company got exactly what it wanted: they forced every passenger to give up on them and figure it out themselves, and they were able to save that much more $$$. To add insult to injury, upon returning home I patiently requested reimbursement for our hotel costs, 1 day of a lost lift ticket, and compensation for the $200 Uber ride that we were forced to take. Epic Mountain Express utterly refused to consider any of these options, after blatantly ignoring my requests for nearly a full month. My requests to speak with any supervisors or managers went completely ignored. My only option is to file a claim against this company and attempt to at least recoup some of the costs of this complete and total debacle. Epic Mountain Express is beyond incompetent; they are downright reckless. The mere fact that they had NO CONTINGENCY PLAN FOR A SNOWSTORM is evidence enough. Their greedy behavior in the hours that followed merely confirmed what was obvious after the 45 minute delay to begin the trip: that Epic Mountain Express is an abomination of a company that can neither be trusted to complete any of the simple tasks they claim they provide nor do anything close to "the right thing" for the customers that they so egregiously wronged. read more

I have been going out to Vail using the CME for the past 4 years and always had a smooth and friendly trip. The drivers are always very accommodating and friendly. The drivers also have an interesting story about how they got to Colorado - which is always exciting to hear. I have had only one issue with my luggage getting on the correct bus. It took me about 4 hours to finally receive it. However, I was able to spend some quality time with friends at a local bar in Lionshead. read more

I've been using CME for years and the service was very good at the beginning but in the past two years I feel that the service quality has dropped off a little. Many of the drivers are fantastic, but every once in a while you get someone who can make your night horrible. I have not had troubles with luggage, late pickups/dropoffs or missing flights - but, they are a airport transportation company - I would hope that they could deliver that! I was on the fence between 2-3 stars and I gave them 3 because I think they could do better...I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that this is transition to ownership by Vail Resorts and they will get better. read more
