I am so, so happy that I went to Peachtree Computers! My computer screen wouldn't come on so I took my precious laptop in on Friday afternoon. By Saturday afternoon, I knew what the problem was (motherboard was dead, not fixing that!) and by Monday afternoon (they're closed on Sundays) I had all of my data in my new computer. They called, sent a text AND an email with what the diagnosis was which I really appreciated. One great thing is that they offer a free diagnostic. The guy that called me with the bad news was so helpful in helping me decide whether I should fix my computer or buy a new one, and I was really impressed by their quick turnaround (even when, according to them, they were super busy!) I just got home with my computer and I was thrilled to pull up my internet browser and see all of my old favorites were restored! I had no idea they were going to do that and it was a HUGE lifesaver as I had hours of research saved! You guys rock, everyone was so nice and helpful and no one made me feel stupid for having no clue about computers or what a motherboard is. My MacBook suffered some pretty severe water damage, and I took it to Peachtree Computers basically thinking that all hope was lost. No appointment was necessary, which was great, and Daniel helped me out immediately. He was very straight-forward about the situation, which I appreciated, and he leveled with me about the pros and cons of getting a new machine or attempting to ship it off to Apple for repairs. With his knowledge, I was able to get a good-as-new MacBook that was almost identical to the one with damage at a good price. More importantly, the techs there got to work on my damaged Mac and were able to transfer all of the data from the damaged machine to the new one. Everything was taken care of in less than a day, and they kept me posted via text and phone calls through the entire process. The migration turned out to be more complicated than originally thought, so I was expecting a very expensive quote. Nope! Peachtree Computer not only saved, but significantly enhanced, my HP laptop's performance. When I tried to install a solid state drive myself (easy, friends said), I got tangled in an unaccommodating BIOS and got into some hardware problems as well. I finally took my crises to Peachtree (based on Yelp reps). They quickly analyzed the situation and gave me realistic alternatives (and honest price estimates) to work around my software and hardware problems. We agreed on a better upgrade (an NVMe, rather than SSD) than I had been aware of. They did this upgrade in less than 24 hours, and at a very reasonable price. Peachtree Computer went the extra distance and exceeded my original upgrade plan. They explained the system and changes to it and gave me a laptop with greatly enhanced performance. Received superb help with a malfunctioning cell phone that other entities had said phone couldn't be helped but would be glad to sell me a new phone. The phone problem was not a battery problem. The gentleman at Peachtree Computers listened to my plight, and set about evaluating the cell phone. He suggested that I go out and about and finish my other shopping while he researched the problem. When I returned about an hour or so later, he had the phone up and operating properly. Hooray ! No muss, no fuss. A fine repair solution. Try'em, you'll like 'em! When it comes time to someday get another phone or computer, I will stop there for advice about a new purchase. I went in with an iMac that Apple refused to look at, an Hp that needed data retrieval and a shattered iPad screen. Needless to say I expected to pay a lot of money. Well I didn't. From the moment I walked in Bobby, the associate, was friendly and more importantly knowledgable. They informed me of issues that might be wrong and the repairs involved. In the end they delivered and it wasn't as. Expensive as the estimate. Had my repairs done in 2 days. Great and friendly staff. Service was fantastic. I cracked my iPhone! These guys were wonderful. It took about 45 minutes to fix. What really makes this company stands out was their exceptional customer service. I was charged $79.99 for the service which I felt was about standard. Well, about 30 minutes after leaving the manager calls me and states that they had lower the price on that service today and he was going to credit my card the difference which was $10.00. I was so impressed because he did not have to do that. I was actually visiting from out if town so, I would have never known that they had just had a rate change.It shows truth and integrity from these guys. My Toshiba laptop started malfunctioning. I phoned Peachtree computers and spoke to Anna who was very pleasant and informative. I was pleased to hear that the shop would undertake a diagnosis of the problem for free. Later I took over the laptop; Joey courteously and efficiently checked it in. Within a few days Alex undertook the diagnosis and informed me of the results and my options. We discussed what to do and he proceeded. When I returned to pick it up he gave me further details about the situation and answered my questions. Anna took my payment which for the work was quite reasonable. I was very impressed by the customer service and help I received from this merchant over the past few years. I was at their shop for an issue with my laptop last week. They perform diagnostics at no cost and offered a few practical options to fix the issue with the laptop. I choose their advice for not spending money for repair and use the laptop in certain way to avoid the issue. I offered them to pay for their time for performing a comprehensive diagnostic and they were gracious to not charge me for their time spent. This is a really great place.When I broke my 15" Macbook Retina screen most places quoted me at least $50 more than Peachtree Computers. The staff was friendly, happily answered my questions and concerns, and kept me updated via phone and text over the 3 day process as my new screen was ordered, delivered, and installed. Also, unlike some other local places, they quoted me over the phone and agreed to do a free diagnostic to check if there were any other issues resulting from the drop. Very happy experience at the Powers Ferry location. Woke up to find my PC had a blue screen with memory problems written on the screen. Took it to Office Depot when they opened. They wanted $300.00. I decided to shop around. Found Peachtree Computers from Google search. Took the CPU in to them. Turned out the RAM needed replacing. Thankfully, especially given the age of the CPU (10 to 15 years old), they had spare RAM to put into my CPU. Problem solved and I only spent $61.00. read more

These guys give great service. Had a hard drive to fail in my laptop, dropped it off at lunch time and by the time I got off they'd already installed the new one as well as installed Windows and optimized it. I also had them to fix a broken charging port for me earlier in the year and they were quick but thorough about that too. I purchased a refurb Dell laptop from them two months ago. Appeared to work perfectly when I was using it in a dock. When I tried to use it standalone, had an issue with one of the keys. The apple store would have charged me three or four times as much. These guys fixed it very quickly and I was able to pick it back up within an hour.
