My husband and I have only been here once, and let me tell you that we absolutely loved it. Even my grandmother who is a meat eater enjoyed it. The food was superb, the only upsetting thing about the restaurant was the fact that a teenager was allowed into the restaurant wearing only a bikini. My elderly grandmother was mortified. read more

I've had friends that were vegan, vegetarian, celiac, all-natural, raw, and I've learned to eat and cook (or not cook, in the raw foodists' case) with all of them, so I've got an appreciation for everything. However, this is not the type of food that I seek out if left to my own devices. I went here with this hippie-foodie friend of mine and a health-food hater. Everybody ate and loved it. The people were super nice. Very reasonably priced for the kind of extreme specialty it is. Good atmosphere. read more

great tasting gluten free/ vegan food for our quick trip to the flower field. we came across this little hole in the wall spot. surprisingly served fresh and delicious choices. i ordered the mango curry wrap with a raisin cinnamon cheesecake (which i ate quickly so no photo evidence was captured) and fell inlove with it! kinda wish i lived in the area so i can eat there again! would most definitely recommend if you're in the area! read more

Peace Pies - Vegan Near Me - Encinitas, California

Delicious food and of course pie! I had the cosmic coconut chocolate cream pie and it was heavenly. They have a huge selections of other great flavors... will definitely be trying them all eventually. Plus they had the best customer service.Very friendly and open, and they even gave me a gallon of coconut water as a birthday present, and it was hands down the best most refreshing coconut water/drink I have ever had. read more

Love this place raw does NOT have to be bland and flavorless. Peace Pies is on point! Love their stuffed pesto tomato, all of their wraps are tasty and love the vegan pizza. My take home favs are the cashew cheese and mock tuna. But the real reason I stop by 2-3 times a week would be the desserts. Amazing!! vegan cheese cake. DE-LICIOUS. read more

Peace Pies - Quesadilla and burger! - Vegan Near Me - Encinitas, California

What a little gem this place is. I'm making an effort to eat healthier so I stumbled upon it and couldn't be happier. A great assortment of fresh juices and raw treats and an even more awesome raw/vegan food menu. I had the "tuna" wrap and it was, dare I say..even better than a real tuna wrap. It was served with fresh, flavorful kale chips and a yummy dipping sauce. Can't wait to go here again. I wish I lived closer. read more

Having lived in Encinitas for over 20 years, I'm happy to say that Peace Pies is the best vegan restaurant around. Friendly and patient staff, delicious food and artistic presentation. No guilt - just a full and satisfied stomach. Due to the labor involved in preparing the items, most food is worth the price with the exception of the plate of cucumbers and some guacamole for $9. Overall, absolutely love Peace Pies and will be going back soon. read more

Peace Pies - Amazing Mystical Mushroom Quesadilla & Loving Lasagna! - Vegan Near Me - Encinitas, California

I was sceptical but they proved me wrong!! The food is beyond amazing!! Don't forget to look up!! The passion in the restaurant hangs from vines. That's passion fruit I'm talking about!! Go eat raw vegan it's such a pleasure. read more

Loved eating lunch here! and then bought a raw dessert to go, which we ate at the shore. This is a good place if you are a vegan or raw foodist. I tried the curry wraps and I really liked them. Sat outside in the sun. Their courtyard seating is beautiful, i just hope they would sweep once in a while. There were some cobwebs and just regular leaves and dirt around the place. Make sure you dont confuse this place with the one right in front of the street. That is a cafe and has a lot of cooked food. Peace Pies is located behind that cafe on the main road. read more

Peace Pies - So smooth!! - Vegan Near Me - Encinitas, California

Good Vegan food but experienced the worst service EVER during Valentine's Day dinner. There were only four 2 top tables there at the time and none of the tables were getting any service by the employees. It took us 25 min to even be acknowledged by the staff that we were there when we first came in. Had to go in to the kitchen to ask for waiter to provide us with service. Ordered 2 glasses of wine which were never delivered to our table. No water refills and the water jug that was sitting in the corner was empty the whole time. All of this happened while the 4 or 5 employees that were there were just talking amongst themselves in the kitchen and 100% ignoring the customers. Paid $75 for dinner for two and had to tip on top of that for service that was non-existent. Will never go back to this location again. read more

I'm a high carb, low fat vegan and I was perfectly able to find something to eat thanks to the lovely girl working there, who was able to cater to my questions and help me out! I definitely am going back later, placing a to go order, since I'm not sure when I'll be back (out of town visitor). I had the mango coconut curry wrap and it was out of this world!! read more

I had the most beautiful experience at this establishment tonight! I got there around 7:15 and walked in to the lovliest staff members. I ordered the nori roll which was so fresh, crisp and amazing. I sat outside which was the most blissful atmosphere. I was surrounded by passion fruit trees along with various other plants, a beautiful mural painted on the wall and it was super comfy with pillows on the bench I was sitting on. I felt right at home. The lovely girl working here even turned on the patio lights although it was almost closing time - I found that to be sweet. It was the most comfortable environment with great food and amazing people. They even let us try the delicious strawberry shake! I recommend coming here read more

So delicious!!! Seriously amazing. Mystical Mushroom Quesadilla might be the best thing I've ever eaten ever. Ever.

My all time favorite restaurant in Encinitas. Everything here is 100% vegan, gluten free, and RAW! I try to eat a majority of raw living foods and this place makes it so easy! They're so creative with their dishes and everything is amazing. My favorites are the pizza, burger, and tacos. And you have to try to maca toffee chocolate....omg..so freaking good read more

This little gem of a spot is so quaint and peaceful to enjoy the most beautiful real food that I've ever had. To say mind blowing that it's all raw is the best description I can give. I had the Luna Tuna wrap that had kale chips on the side with a coconut curry sauce that I really think should come in a gallon so that I could put on everything! Just ahhhh mazing flavor in every bite of the meal. The portion size was absolutely perfect! I was full yet I felt SO good. Anytime I'm even close to this location I will be here! read more

I had the quesadilla. It came with kale chips which were very tasty and the quesadilla itself was very tasty. But it was very thin. they could easily have put a lot more vegetables in it. I felt like I was eating mostly wrap and sauce. $14 read more

After a long bike ride on an awesome day in January along the coast--stopped at Peace Pies for lunch. My second time here and whether you are vegan or not--the food is really really good! By the way I had the tacos with a fruit smoothie--just thinking about it makes me want more!! read more

Raw food can take so much effort and time to make, Peace Pies does all the work for you. From their yummy "'Cheesy' Kale Salad" to their out of this world "Mystic Quesidia" (I think that is the name for the flavorful meal!) You simply can not go wrong, it is so healthy and good for you! Great drinks too - Superhuman is one of my faves! Plus the deserts, raw, healthy and fresh my body and taste buds thanks me when I treat myself to Peace Pies, yours will too! Raw food, organic, vegan. Very intense flavors. Food doesn't really quite resemble the dishes they are named after, but they're good nonetheless. Comfortable patio. No service to speak of, not even silverware or water unless you hunt it down. The coconut juice is fresh squeezed and delicious. I also really like their "cheesy" kale chips, which are flavored with spices and tahini before drying. The food is extremely dense and nutritious. Yes it is too expensive, but I have no doubt they use only the healthiest ingredients. Seems to be owned and run by hippies; no surprise there. I also recommend the desserts, especially the cream pies which are also raw and vegan, read more

5 stars because their pies are truly amazing. For a good 6 months, I went here way too many times than I am comfortable admitting. Let's just say I spent a lot of money on pies that year. Do yourself a favor, and get the Tiramisu. If you're only so lucky :) Plus, the owner is amazing and the staff is always friendly. Plus, it's in Leucadia. Hard to top location. You can walk to the beach from the restaurant. read more

Ive enjoyed the delicious food at Peach Pies twice, and would say that it a gem of a place. For my second time, I drove two hours in the rain to feast on their unique vegan dishes. My personal recommendation would be the Luna Tuna Wrap or the Mystical Mushroom Quesadilla. If you enjoy thick smoothies, I'd also recommend the Horchata Shake! All of this dishes are extremely filling without making you feel overly full afterwards. The friendly employees are always warm and welcoming and their outdoor courtyard is a wonderful environment to enjoy a meal with friends. Over all, this is an amazing vegan treasure. Whether or not you are vegan, you will enjoy their amazing flavors. Give it a try! read more
