Parking: The Pre-Meal Adventure First things first--parking is a sport here. I mean, it's near the water, so of course there is limited space. It took me a solid half hour to park. By the time I walked in, I felt like I had already burned off dessert. Service with Space The service was chill and patient--no pressure, no hovering. I was offered suggestions, politely declined, and eventually made up my mind like the independent vegan foodie I pretend to be. Food Chronicles I dove into the Mystical Mushroom Quesadilla with walnut meat. Now, let me confess: this was my first time eating walnut meat, it was an interesting experience... a little sweeter than my taste buds were emotionally prepared for, but hey--growth! I'll have to try it without the walnut meat next time. The real showstopper..The kale chips. I'm pretty sure they were kale chips, but honestly they tasted like crispy little blessings from above. Heaven-sent. Then came the Loving Lasagna, and WOW. Extremely good. The sauces were divine, like they'd been whisked by angels with excellent seasoning skills. I absolutely recommend it--10/10, would eat again and again.
Peace Pies is hands down the best place for raw food. I had the Carnitas Burrito and Bruschetta as an appetizer -- both were fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. We sat outside and the weather was perfect, which made the experience even better. A must-visit if you're into raw, plant-based meals!

My husband and I drove all the way from LA just to try Peace Pies, and let me tell you it was worth every mile. The meal we had here is one that we simply will not forget because it was so dang delicious. It is heartbreaking that it is so far away because I would be frequenting here every week if I could, but I surely will come back. We came in late Sunday afternoon, and the store was very calm and peaceful with just a couple of other patrons. There was just one individual at the counter when we arrived who was very kind and took our order. My husband ordered the Majestic Mediterranean Wrap and I had the Buffalo Falafel Wrap. Both wraps were so fresh and bursting with flavor and came with a side of kale chips that are out of this world. You can tell that all of the ingredients and produce used are high quality. The colors of the ingredients are also gorgeous. The portion sizes are generous, but the taste is so good that we both easily finished our wraps. After this, we ordered a chocolate mylkshake and a Samoa for dessert. Both were absolutely divine. We were so blown away by everything that we had that we ordered another wrap (magical mango curry wrap) and took a case of kale chips home. The magical mango was our least favorite out of the three wraps, but it was still really good. The food at Peace Pies is deeply nourishing, which is a rarity with modern day food. Your body will truly thank you for eating Peace Pies. I am so sad I cannot have it every day.
I ordered Thanksgiving meals ahead of time and to my surprise got way more than I was expecting. It was so gourmet! The service was great! They had it all ready when I got there. The place is beautiful & clean. Everyone loved the food. Thank you peace pies our two hour trip to get there was worth it!

What an absolute gem. If I lived nearby, I'd ask the staff to hurry up and give me a nickname because I'd be a regular like clockwork. Alas, I don't live nearby. A stellar stop should you find yourself driving between Los Angeles and San Diego, or thereabouts. Like I did. If you do live close, lucky you. Newly introduced, I didn't know where to start. I asked about fan favorites and was directed to the mushroom quesadilla. "Everyone on Yelp loves it." Well goddamn. Feel free to include me on the "everyone" list. A tough task, creating a raw quesadilla that can stand up to its traditional, melty cousin. But stand up it does. My wife isn't big on mushrooms, but she was eyeing my half like I was going to have to fight for it. The faux-tuna wrap was spot on. A lot of greens and sprouts, extremely fresh, a crunch factor with a dressing that tied it all together like Lebowski's rug. And the kelp salad was blessed with just the right amount of olives to keep it fun. I used to be disinterested in raw spots. I found the flavors too consistent across the menu, too many dried seed everythings. Too bland, too much not enough. Undoubtedly healthy, but the taste buds want what the taste buds want. Peace Pies took the healthiness, kept that core of the raw lifestyle, and turned up all the rest. What an uplifting spot to hang. Probably a mile or less off the ocean, it's got that sleepy town attitude where fog chills the quiet air outside, and you get to kick back and recharge. They've got big, beautiful plants, a gorgeous passionfruit vine mural, and a deck outside to enjoy the bites and the breeze. I'm a fan of the color palette. Nice decor without going overboard or out of bounds, pillows to lean on, sunlight popping through to hit all the right spots. As far as I can tell, everything is made in-house. Even the coconut tortillas, which they sell separately if you want to get fancy at home. I'm a little sad I didn't try the walnut meat, or the durian smoothy. Durian? In smoothies? Normally worth a chuckle, but I bet Peace Pies handles it with care. The staff were cool folks, there to spread friendliness and care through soul-nourishing food and a place to unplug. Good food and a table to enjoy it are the ultimate display of welcome. I wish we could've stayed longer. A shame, when the daily grind drags us back when the heart wants to stay put. I would've lounged an hour or two on the patio. Maybe sipped a tea and tried one of those sweets in the cooler that couldn't stop looking at me. Closed my eyes, breathed deeply, and noshed 'til I could nosh no more. There's always next time... Well, at least I hope there is. Next time, it will have to be.
Celebrated my birthday at one of my favorite vegan spots--Peace Pies! This place truly delivers real food made with love. The newly renovated space is absolutely magical and welcoming! It's got a modern touch with a cute, cozy vibe. We arrived for lunch and were lucky to snag a lovely indoor spot. The interior is open and bright, with dessert displays that made me want to try everything! Some standout menu items: Chips and guac app- beautifully plated and a healthy starter! Magical Mango Curry Wrap (my all-time favorite) - Avocado, mango, and mixed veggies all wrapped in a coconut tortilla, served with coconut curry sauce. It's super filling, packed with fresh veggies. Mystical Mushroom Quesadilla - A red bell tortilla stuffed with cheez, 'sautéed' mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and greens, served with guacamole. This is a close second for me--can't resist anything with mushrooms! Also, a special shoutout to their kale chips, which are hands down the best in town. I don't even mind getting kale stuck in my teeth, they're that good. LOL! To top it off, I had their refreshing sugarcane juice--my go-to whenever I see it on the menu! Even my non-vegan friends loved their meals and couldn't believe everything was raw vegan. I always love seeing people's reactions when they try this place for the first time, and it's always positive! Healthy, cruelty-free food that's both delicious and satisfying--Peace Pies does it right! To make the day even sweeter, they surprised me with a chocolate dessert when they found out it was my birthday. It was the perfect way to end my birthday lunch! Thank you, Peace Pies, for always serving up amazing food and service. I could eat here every day!

Their patio is sooooo cute!! Everything here is so fresh, natural and delicious!! The employees are always so sweet and give great recommendations. They're also really cool about accommodations. One of my favorite new findings in Leucadia
Absolutely the best place to eat if you want to feel good about what you put in your body, not to mention supporting a local business. Every item is served with loving care. My favorites are the chocolate shake, caeser wrap, caeser salad, buffalo falafel wrap and the Twix bar.

Wow all raw food! So delicious and tasty! The mushroom stroganoff was a surprise being cold kelp noodles and still very good. The mystical quesadilla was full of bold flavor loaded with mushrooms! Dessert was yum! Twix bar oooh wish I could have more. The white chocolate raspberry cheesecake delicious!! Sad that tomorrow is their last day open in Leucadia. Their ocean beach location will remain open. Good service, nice clean space and good people. read more

OMG! This place is awesome! All the food is made in house. There's nothing this vegetarian/vegan can't eat. Nothing is processed and nothing added but healthy ingredients. Lori got the Street Taco (she could only finish one but loved it) and I got the Bliss Burger, fully loaded with mushrooms, guac and their own catchup. If you're a carnivore I suggest giving this place a try. The food is all first rate in quality and taste. What an amazing find. We brought Coraline, our Pit Mix and they welcomed her. read more

I am soul-grateful Peace Pies is back in Leu! You feel the purity & wholesomeness of the business right when you walk through the doors. So many things I could highlight about the nourishing dishes - first off, each meal is presented colorfully & full of fresh living foods. You know exactly what you are getting, and the consistency is there every time. The menu is dynamic, offering healthy takes on popular dishes. Their seasonal and daily specials are not to be missed! I'm always surprised by how content I feel halfway through my meals, because the dishes are nutrient dense and filling. You feel the love transferred through each bite! Raw food absolutely is an acquired taste as it may be more earthy to those used to the traditional American diet. It's absolutely worth offering a try, especially to those seeking healthier lifestyle shifts, navigating chronic illness, or simply those who are foodies seeking a unique and grassroots experience. Wow!!! I am SO excited that Peace Pies has a new location here in Encinitas!!! It is slightly hidden with the enterance around the corner from the Main Street of the 101. It is a freshly painted white building address numbers are very present 133 off the corner before the Mexican restaurant. The location is ABSOULUTELY GORGEOUS!!! They have both indoor and out door seating All of the food is phenomenal!!! A few of my personal favorites are the lasagna, pizza, tuna wrap, nachos, buffalo falafel wrap. Their kale chips are The Best in San Diego!!! Their desserts are off the charts beyond amazing!!! Highly recommend the Twix and Butterfinger! Service is extremely kind accommodating and a divine pleasure to experience! I would highly recommend this place to all plant-based raw vegans anyone looking for healthy clean food to nourish the mind, body and soul! Parking was easy but may be a short walk from street parking on busy summer days. read more

Omg !!!!! I had the luna tuna wrap !!! I cannot express how ridiculously delicious it was !! By far the best wrap I've had in my life, full of flavors, and so nutritious full of life, ugh soooo good and filling, it was big .. it's bittersweet that I live far, because I can't have it as much but I won't be spending all my money haha .. I believe this is by far one of my fave spots, I just need to try more stuff on the menu to confirm my belief .. and it's a really cute place decorated with plants, the menu is pretty too thank you l! Looking forward to coming back soon when I'm back in the area ! I went back the next day to before I left the area and had the mystical quesadilla, soooo delicious!!! A friend told me about this place and was finally able to check it out. Slightly hidden, but super cute inside. I decided to try the quesadillas based on the reviews. The cashier was super sweet and helpful. Once I got home to try, my first few bites were good, but kept tasting something really sweet... at 1st I thought it may have been the cashew cheese, as I was skeptical about( not a fan of fake cheese) but it actually was really good, and not where the sweetness was coming from. After practically dissecting the quesadillas, I finally just called to ask. Turns out they make their tortillas using coconut and agave with the red bell peppers. Sadly if I had know that either were used in the making, I would've ordered something else. Besides, the extra sweet tortillas everything else was quite yummy. I will most likely be back to try something else.... But will just need to double check what all the ingredients are. read more

Literally can't believe I never written a review for peace pies!!!! This is my favorite restaurant in the world and I been to 50 now. So happy that they are back after rye horrible fire that burnt down the restaurant ! Anyhow Mystical Mushroom Quesadilla And if you love coconut... the coconut cream pie is to die for... Trust me! Just go eat the rainbow & feel like an unicorn after x Everything is so delicious made with love and super nutrient dense food. Basically eat delicious food for your health. Invest in your body!! Consistent quality. Always wonderful and happy people go there! I wish there are more peace pries all over CA. Please go support this amazing place and try something new! You will be amazedddd read more
