I had a craving for a milkshake. Looked through the usual Yelp results and stuff from other websites. Landed on Peace Cream because it's close by and the reviews are fabulous. We were not disappointed - ice cream is fantastic! The owner, who I assume was the fine gentleman in the back, came out to greet us even while we were being assisted. The two were very welcoming and personable - you don't usually get that at some places, yet it makes it feel like they actually care about being normal, civilized people. Anyway, I attempted to not take samples, but this guy is convincing and I should really pay attention to other flavors beyond chocolate and vanilla. He passed me a coffee or caramel flavor that, while a little sweet for me, was very delicious. So the shake, very good not a hint of fake flavor like some places offer and was just the right size to quench my thirst. Again, very warm people that care about their business and what they're offering. Really tasty ice cream. We'll have to go back for crepes or waffles soon! Thanks a bunch! read more

The ice cream and crepe were as good as the customer service! So friendly upon arrival and while we enjoyed our yummy goodness of ice cream and Nutella and banana crepe! We were even given samples that were quite tasty! I have to say my favorite was the coffee ice cream! The crepe was made fresh and so delicious. The ice cream was so smooth and creamy! This is definitely a place to go especially if you are having an ice cream craving! Sooo good! We shall return. read more

A friend suggested we try this ice cream & coffee place for our monthly meet ups and it did NOT disappoint. The place is small but quaint and the staff (2 young ladies) were very friendly and helpful. Since this was our first time we took a little bit to decide what to get. My friend ended up getting the Strawberry Waffle with vanilla ice cream and I opted for the banana split. (I figured it was the best way to try a couple different ice cream flavors.) I just didn't realize how BIG the banana split would be. It ended up filling up an entire takeout box once 3 scoops, banana, whipped cream, syrup and nuts were all added. I was actually not able to eat the whole thing, even with it being my dinner for last night. I would highly recommend you share it unless you have a huge appetite and sweet tooth. The 3 flavors I got were: Strawberry Cheesecake, Rocky Road, and Salted Caramel. They were all good, but I would have to say the Strawberry Cheesecake was my favorite, especially after they added chocolate syrup to the top. This place is truly a hidden gem. We didn't get to try the coffee, but maybe next time. They did have decent business for a Thursday night and I loved the option to sit inside or out. read more

Went by and got a crepe today and before I ate the crepe my whole focus was the love I saw with family in the location. Covid has brought such distancing and disconnect that seeing families together provides such a heart warming feeling. I walked in and there were a few ppl there so I was not sure where the line was. I stepped in to be greeted by kids and a few adults all with smiling and such a warm countenance. I realized this place is family run and all were willing to step up and help. The gentleman that served me was so patient, kind, and had such a warm service oriented reception. Everyone was friendly and the crepe was not only delicious it was affordable. I pray for this place we need more family and warm-hearted ppl running places. PLEASE GO SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT read more

As soon as I entered Peace Cream, I was captivated by the cheery, colorful aesthetics. The owners were just as charming - so friendly and excited to share what they have to offer. I really appreciate the effort they both put forth in making me feel welcome. I went with a classic waffle. No fruit, no spreads, just a golden-brown Belgian waffle. It was exactly what I would hope for... Crisp on the outside, light and airy on the inside. The syrup on the side added the perfect amount of sweetness. Truly simplicity at its best. I'm always happy to support local businesses and can't wait to come back and try the ice cream! There isn't any indoor seating, so this is more of a grab-your-ice-cream-and-go kind of place. After being out in the Arizona heat all day, we didn't mind one bit! My friend got a scoop of peanut butter pecan in a pretzel cone, which I thought was such a unique combination. She said it was really tasty, and I have to admit the pretzel cone definitely caught my attention. My daughter went with peanut butter ice cream in a waffle cone. The waffle cones are made homemade right there, and they also make their cookies in-house, which made everything feel extra special. I ordered a salted caramel sundae with butter pecan ice cream, and let me tell you--it was amazing! It was the perfect combination of sweet, salty, and creamy. My sundae also came with a cookie, so of course I had to try it, and it was so good. You could definitely tell it was freshly made. This is part of a cluster of good restaurants of different types along Central Avenue in Uptown. Parking available right in front of the entrance as well as around back in a private parking lot. I was so tempted by several items on the menu, but since I had just had a large lunch, I chose to try a single scoop of the Vietnamese coffee ice cream. So delicious and I loved the tiny specks of coffee. Hubs got a double scoop of strawberry ice cream, and my son got a strawberry shake. We all really enjoyed the interior and decor of the ice cream shop and the high-quality and good flavors of the ice cream. Service is really great here. The ladies were really working hard and going as fast as they could, and it didn't look easy scooping the large scoops of frozen hard ice cream. There was a line out the door on the Saturday afternoon that we showed up that moved quickly.

A Nostalgic, Must-Visit Dessert Destination in Old Town Scottsdale…read more Our party of six visited the Sugar Bowl for dessert following a friend's birthday dinner. Upon our arrival, we were accommodated immediately and seated without any delay. The parlor features a wonderful, nostalgic aesthetic reminiscent of the late 1900s. Its menu is remarkably expansive, offering an impressive variety of options that goes well beyond what one might typically expect from a traditional dessert establishment. The service we received was patient and polite. While one of our table's orders was initially overlooked, the staff corrected the mistake instantly as soon as we brought it to our server's attention. As the name implies, the menu leans heavily into decadent, sweet treats; those looking for lighter or tart options like yogurt variations will find limited choices, but the indulgent selections are perfect for traditional dessert lovers. The surrounding neighborhood adds significantly to the appeal, offering an excellent Old Town atmosphere filled with art galleries, historic shops, and artifacts. If you are visiting the nearby Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA), enjoying dinner in the area, or simply taking an evening walk, I highly recommend stopping by the Sugar Bowl for its unique historical charm and experience.

I used to get the Buster Brownie, which was this big brownie sundae with vanilla ice cream, goeey marshmallow topping, whipped cream, & cherry on top. It was awesome! I loved that way back then. I got lunch there once or twice; pretty good sandwiches, but the real highlight is the ice cream. My most recent visit was in Jan. 2022 with my dad. We decided to pop in for ice cream. It was as delicious as I remembered.

Our visit to Peace Cream was a delightful experience from start to finish. Not your average ice cream joint, this place has it all: ice creams, waffles, crepes, and coffee. Opting for the classic crepe and a scoop of Rocky Road ice cream, we were thoroughly impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering great suggestions. Plus, they've thoughtfully created a cozy corner for kids to play in, which was a hit with my little ones. If you're looking for a family-friendly ice cream shop with fantastic treats and a welcoming atmosphere, Peace Cream is definitely the place to be. read more

We stopped in for dessert after having a burger and fries dinner. I was searching for something sweet and stumbled upon this place. I had no idea what to expect, but it was a pleasant surprise! They offered unique and delicious ice cream and made crepes for us as we waited, with options like honey caramel or banana. Each of us ordered a different one. The staff was wonderfully friendly and took the time to serve us well. We were so happy to have found this place and plan to return. I highly recommend it! read more

So now I always add 10-15 min to their estimated time that they gave me so I know for sure they finished my order. Never had issues with my orders, it's always delicious everytime. So many flavors to choose from it's hard to pick sometimes. I love their cheesecake flavors, butter pecan, and cherry vanilla.
