I had a craving for a milkshake. Looked through the usual Yelp results and stuff from other websites. Landed on Peace Cream because it's close by and the reviews are fabulous. We were not disappointed - ice cream is fantastic! The owner, who I assume was the fine gentleman in the back, came out to greet us even while we were being assisted. The two were very welcoming and personable - you don't usually get that at some places, yet it makes it feel like they actually care about being normal, civilized people. Anyway, I attempted to not take samples, but this guy is convincing and I should really pay attention to other flavors beyond chocolate and vanilla. He passed me a coffee or caramel flavor that, while a little sweet for me, was very delicious. So the shake, very good not a hint of fake flavor like some places offer and was just the right size to quench my thirst. Again, very warm people that care about their business and what they're offering. Really tasty ice cream. We'll have to go back for crepes or waffles soon! Thanks a bunch! read more

A friend suggested we try this ice cream & coffee place for our monthly meet ups and it did NOT disappoint. The place is small but quaint and the staff (2 young ladies) were very friendly and helpful. Since this was our first time we took a little bit to decide what to get. My friend ended up getting the Strawberry Waffle with vanilla ice cream and I opted for the banana split. (I figured it was the best way to try a couple different ice cream flavors.) I just didn't realize how BIG the banana split would be. It ended up filling up an entire takeout box once 3 scoops, banana, whipped cream, syrup and nuts were all added. I was actually not able to eat the whole thing, even with it being my dinner for last night. I would highly recommend you share it unless you have a huge appetite and sweet tooth. The 3 flavors I got were: Strawberry Cheesecake, Rocky Road, and Salted Caramel. They were all good, but I would have to say the Strawberry Cheesecake was my favorite, especially after they added chocolate syrup to the top. This place is truly a hidden gem. We didn't get to try the coffee, but maybe next time. They did have decent business for a Thursday night and I loved the option to sit inside or out. read more

Covid has brought such distancing and disconnect that seeing families together provides such a heart warming feeling. I walked in and there were a few ppl there so I was not sure where the line was. I stepped in to be greeted by kids and a few adults all with smiling and such a warm countenance. I realized this place is family run and all were willing to step up and help. What a hidden treasure, I use to frequent Chino when it was in this plaza and never knew this was here. Everyone was so pleasant, cute insides, prices are so reasonable and ice cream was fantastic that we will go back tomorrow and I will take pictures vs devouring my ice cream then realizing I didn't take pics.
