We started off with a consultation, me explaining what I need and what the expectations are for myself and the other homeowners in my condo association. Mike listened and provided an AMAZING quote with a payment schedule that was forward thinking because I was going to ask for a payment plan. When the team got started on the deck WOW they were awesome and made it look effortless. But prior to that, with the description that Mike provided he even laid out the plan of what I should expect and the milestones for payment, even estimated when the city would come out to inspect the deck and make sure that it is up to code. No surprises, well, besides the 7:30am construction time, LOL! BTW, our original deck was so old that spindles were falling off, the deck was pulling away from the building, our top floor residents were not able to use their decks due to missing planks, and the list goes on...Thank you JSitko Construction and if you were a company on Glassdoor that I could recommend you to other, I WOULD! I assume this is because they are a small shop and pretty busy not out of malice or incompetence. THAT BEING SAID. I had a great experience with DBR; the crew was considerate, kind and clean. They worked hard and did a good job. They completed many tasks adjacent to what I had asked for in the remodel. Overall I am very pleased with the work they did and I would use them again. I also was satisfied with the price of the renovation -their price came below another quote I had gotten.

Our built-ins and kitchen cabinets looked brand new after their refinishing. The marble surround on the fireplace was meticulously placed. The walls were buttery smooth after their paint job. Our master bathroom was not a complete gut, just a mini-refresh. DBR was able to run the plumbing to accommodate a double vanity in no time and run the electrical to allow the mirror to function properly. It's…read morerare to find a contractor you trust completely, along with all their subcontracting teams, but Ohad and his crew have earned that trust across multiple projects in our home. Ohad is an honest thought partner when it comes to design and overall project management. He'll tell you straight where it's worth spending and where you can save. And his team is hardworking, honest, and reliably on schedule (and mostly on budget!). We have also had the opposite experience of some of the warranty comments below. The team has ALWAYS come back promptly to finish final details/punch list items until we're happy with the project. And, they stand by the quality of their work. For example, after refinishing our floors, we noticed some marks that weren't quite right. Ohad agreed immediately that it wasn't up to his standard of work and sent a team to fix it, no pushback at all. The team tried a "quick" fix at first which was better, but not perfect. Without us even asking to fix it again, Ohad said it still wasn't to his standard and the solution was to rework the entire area. Due to some personal scheduling conflicts that made it hard to have workers in the house, we asked to delay for a few months past project completion and he was completely understanding... told us it would happen on our timeline and just asked for some notice before we'll be ready so he can schedule the team. That kind of accountability, owning a mistake and working around our needs to fix it, is exactly why we trust him so much. Plus the incredibly high standard of work on everything that went perfectly smoothly! We won't risk anyone else working on our home at this point.

Revive's warranty was worthless, and the project management was poor…read more THE PROJECT MANAGEMENTS PROBLEMS: I hired Revive to replace granite kitchen countertops with quartzite at a cost of about $9,000. The new countertops were installed in October 2025. The design and fabrication of the countertops was very good. The installation crew seemed to be extremely competent - but see the warranty issue, below. The demolition and stone installation took place on a Monday. The plumber disconnect everything, but was not scheduled to return. He was able to come back Tuesday evening. We were reusing the previous faucet, since it was fairly new, but he discovered that either he or the crew had lost a critical part. He went to Home Depot to get another, but they don't sell it separately. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a new faucet. After he left, I discovered a huge leak inside the cabinet. He returned the next morning and fixed it. The stone crew were professional seemed competent (but see the warranty issue, below). But they forgot to bring stone sealant with them and didn't return with sealant until Wednesday, causing unnecessary delay as I could not use the countertops at all until they were sealed. I emailed Ohad of Revive about these and other problems, just so that he would know, not asking for anything. He acknowledged that the work was not up to their usual standards. He said he was mailing me a gift, but nothing ever arrived. I assumed he sent it and it got lost, but I appreciated the gesture which I took to be an apology. WARRANTY ISSUES: By April 2026, about six months after installation, my stone had became discolored in two places. I provided photos to Ohad and told him my theory that the the crew missed these spots when they sealed the countertops. The manufacturer of the sealant used on my stone states in its information sheet that the seal will last "years" against oil, water, and grease. I had gotten discoloration after just a few months. The stone crew told me during installation that their work was guaranteed and that anytime I needed them to come back, they would do so. But when I sent the photos to Ohad, he responded with this: "Natural stone requires periodic maintenance, including sealing and care over time. This type of ongoing upkeep is the responsibility of the homeowner and is not part of our warranty or scope of work. It would not be reasonable for us to provide continued maintenance of the surface after installation." None of this applies after only six months! I asked Ohad what maintenance he thought I should have done, but he did not respond. I had a stone care company look at the discolorations. The technician said that he would have used a different sealant on my stone. He gave me a product that pulls moisture out of stone, which mostly removed the discolorations, and I sealed the areas. The discoloration that I was able to remove has not come back. CONCLUSION: By using Revive, I got poor product management and a warranty that was just a sales pitch not backed up by any integrity. If I had gone directly to the stone fabricator, I would have at least had a warranty.

I sincerely wish all service providers and contractors operated the way Mike's operation does. This is a well-oiled machine with a commitment to quality and a pride for getting the details right. I highly recommend Mike and Arrow Masonry for any brick, block, and cement sealing and repair work. We were in year 8 of our split-face block's 10-year sealant life expectancy. In preparation for a re-seal, a major building expense, we did some preliminary shopping and received 4 quotes last year. Mike's quote wasn't the cheapest and it wasn't the most expensive. However, his command of masonry and ability to call out the details was impressive. He and his office (shout out to Patti!) were highly responsive as well. Our Association felt the most confidence in Mike's quote and decided that when the time came, we would go with Arrow Masonry. This year, the units in our building experienced 3 leaks above 3 different windows within 120 days. Time to accelerate the sealing job! We were able to get Mike and his crew scheduled to come out within 2 weeks. The crew showed up, on time, at 7 AM sharp and worked through 5 PM each day. It took a total of 4 days to get the job done. After each day, they cleaned up the entire site as if they were never there. This was greatly appreciated. Steve, the foreman, and the rest of the crew were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and addressed a lot of extra details that we did not even ask the team to address. They repaired our front steps, unprompted, and did a high quality overhaul of the flashing on our rear balconies to help prevent runoff down the exterior block below each deck. I did a final review the day after the job, loaded up a photo album of small adjustments that had to be made, shared with Mike, and he had the crew out in 24 hours, a Saturday morning, to wrap up all the final details. They really knocked it out of the park! Our Association could not be more satisfied with the job and the experience. We will happily use them again when the need arises.

The whole crew came on time each day (10 min early in fact), the work is solid, they were quick, and they even put up with neighbors being salty about trucks in the alley (hi nieghbors - sorry, it's city life!) Aside from that glowing overview, the project itself was a garage tuckpointing. Much of the garage is intact but the top few feet of brick wall was completely erroded and one section of the garage was splitting and bulging away. We've wanted to get it all repaired but many contractors had quoted a price that was bordering on the cost of a whole new garage! Art's quote was reasonable and the work he recommended was appropriate. Nothing flashy, just good work. Now the garage is all fixed up, sturdy, and ready for another 100 winters - Thanks guys! The kind of crew I want to hire again even though I really hope I don't need you for a while :)

We contracted with Solid Remodelers in November 2024 to replace 6 sets of stairs and landings for…read moreour condo association. The install went well but several of the step-boards have significant cracks in them, some 2" deep. We did ask if we should wait until Spring to install them, but were assured that the wood would be fine through the winter. The company does have a caveat in the estimate that some shrinkage, twisting, warping, and cracking may occur. We aren't concerned about the numerous cosmetic cracks, but the deep ones are too much of a head start for deterioration and should be replaced. We are being ghosted by Damien after several attempts over the past 30 days to resolve the situation.
