Service was good and the restaurant itself makes you wander from wall to wall with the "graffiti" based art work. Food was ready fairly quickly and was hot and fresh. The tenders and slider were done really well with an abundance of sauces and dips to try. I wasn't a fan of the mozzarella I found the breading aftertaste took away from the taste of the cheese. Next time maybe the Mac & Cheese and cauliflower.

In all fairness, it had just opened for lunch so I don't know how it usually is when it's super busy. This was a dine-in experience. The graffiti art décor keeps it cool & casual. The ordering process is easier than other fast-casual restaurants that rely on a number placed at the table. Here, you're given a buzzer. I didn't have to wait too long for the shake. It was received right after the order was placed. I love the top loaded cereal ones! You get your choice of a vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry. I chose vanilla with fruity pebbles. Loved it! The hot chicken bites were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It's a very generous portion. These are bigger than bites. The medium spice wasn't spicy to me, and I don't have a high tolerance to heat. I don't know if it was toned down, or if they actually gave me mild. Either way, it was still very tasty. I'll order hot next time just for comparison. The crinkle-cut fries are automatically seasoned by default. I didn't realize it at the time, but there is an option to get them unseasoned. The meal comes with a slice of bread, pickles, and Dave's sauce for dipping. I'd get the same thing again, only I would split it with someone. I'm not sure if there's an option for a 5 bite meal. The price of the meal was high due to the addition of the shake, but the chicken portion makes up for that. Honestly though, the halal chicken price is pretty much on par with other restaurants that serve it with this designation. There will be more visits in the future. I'm looking forward to trying the sandwich next time.

I'm genuinely surprised to see such ratings for Indi's Chicken. I went in expecting a simple,…read moreno-frills spot serving good old-fashioned fried chicken and classic sides. That sounded great to me. Unfortunately, the food, portions, and pricing were all disappointing. A three-piece chicken meal with two sides runs around $13-$14, and the pieces are small. Two of my three pieces were very small drumsticks. The meal doesn't include a drink, and if you just want water, you have to buy a bottle. The sides also come in very small portions. I ordered the 3 piece spicy chicken with baked beans and potato wedges. The seasoning on the chicken had a decent flavor, but it wasn't spicy at all. The bigger issue was that the chicken was extremely dry. The larger piece of fried chicken was especially bad, there was barely any meat in it. Most of it was over-fried, hardened breading surrounding a lot of empty space. I kept biting into thick, crunchy breading and air while trying to find actual chicken. The baked beans were fine but nothing notable. I did like the potato wedges, which were probably the best part of the meal. You get three as a side, but they are at least fairly large. There are also several extra costs that add up. Sauces are sold separately, the meal doesn't include a drink, and there's an additional 3% charge if you don't pay with cash. All in all, I really don't understand the high ratings. You can get better fried chicken at plenty of fast-food restaurants, or even from Walmart or Publix, for less money, with larger portions and more options. Even if you're specifically looking for a no-frills local chicken spot, this doesn't feel like a good value. You pay more, get less, and, based on my visit, the quality isn't there. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Great local business if you love hot chicken…read more I've been wanting to try this place out for ages, but it's so specific (only chicken!) that I usually cannot convince my family to go. But today, I decided to do a Costco run and forego their food court, and try out Crossroad Hot Chicken by myself. I ordered online before heading over. Super easy. Food was ready 5 minutes before I got there and packed up well. I got the 3 piece chicken tenders, x-hot, with a side of the greens. The tenders were more like half a chicken breast each. Huge. Very succulent chicken, not dry at all. They were crispy and very spicy. I'm part Thai. After a few bites, I was wishing that I had ordered the mac and cheese instead to help offset the spice, but I persevered. The greens were good, very smoky tasting, but they were overwhelmed by the spicy chicken, so I only recommend them if you get the mild or medium chicken. Really nice staff at the restaurant. While I got my food to go, the sitting area seemed nice and comfortable for a casual meal.

I've passed by it so many times over the years. But it wasn't until recently that I decided to try it after seeing many reviews from Yelp friends at other locations. I don't really know much about this location. All I know is that they are closed on Sundays. I attempted to go there twice in 2 days. That's my bad for not checking the hours of operation. Anyway, I walked in on a Monday to fresh chicken and honey biscuits. Their online menu appears to have more items than what they have on a given day. Be mindful of that when ordering online. I'm glad I visited in person just to see what was available. It was an easy decision. I selected the 2 piece white meat (breast and a wing) chicken that comes with a honey biscuit. They put both of our orders in one box. It was still hot when I got home. The breast meat was actually the best part. It was juicy and tender inside, with a mild taste of Cajun marinade. The outer breading on the skin was crispy and crunchy. There was no kick of spice (like Popeyes), but it was still very tasty with whatever blend of seasonings that they use. They may have spicier options. I didn't really ask. My husband said that the Publix chicken is better. Maybe it is, but I'm actually sick of eating Publix chicken and needed a change of pace. The breading and the spices are different enough from other fast food chains. This was a welcomed change. So much so, that I will be going back for more. If anything, I'll go back for the biscuits. They were also kind of crunchy, but not in a dry way. I can't explain it. I love that I could taste the butter with the sweet honey glaze. Hey, it was different! I'm also hoping to try the blueberry biscuits the next time they have them available. I see that they also have fried shrimp and chicken tenders. I'll update the review once I try more items. I'm actually happy that there is a location nearby. It gives me more options for fried chicken. It's in a Food Mart that also appears to be clean, and the service was quick. I'm not sure why I didn't try it sooner.

I went there today to pick up an order I placed through Uber Eats. Usually, when you pick up an Uber Eats order yourself, they don't require a verification code. However, when I went to the front and gave my name to the cashier, she asked if I had proof of the order. I told her no, as I had ordered on my computer and didn't have a code. She insisted she needed verification. My phone wasn't working at the moment, which I don't blame her for, but the way she handled the situation was incredibly frustrating. I waited 20 minutes before I actually got my food. The cashier stood there talking on her phone, claiming she needed to ask her manager, but she never actually did. I didn't hear her explain the situation or ask anyone for help. Instead, she just stayed on her phone and eventually slid the food over to me. There was no apology for the wait, no "here you go," and no "have a nice day." She just slid it over with a smile while still chatting on her phone. It felt like she was purposely inconveniencing me. As soon as I mentioned that I had my ID to prove who I was, it was suddenly no issue, and she handed it over without ever checking with a manager. Very disappointing experience. While the food itself still tastes good, it is simply no longer worth the money or the poor treatment. I never expected over the top, bubbly customer service, the staff that used to work here would just get the job done without the fake enthusiasm, and that was perfectly fine. But there is a massive difference between a worker just trying to get through their shift and one who actively goes out of their way to keep you waiting while talking on the phone. Between the disrespectful service and the shrinking portions, this place just isn't what it used to be.
