Their unwilling to work with customers when trying to make a return. I had ordered 15 units of a very expensive product which turned out to not work for my application. I was trying to exchange this product for a similar item (again order 15 units which equated to a $1k+ order) and because I was requesting to do this outside of 30 from when my order was placed (not 30 days after delivery which is the norm) they would not allow for my exchange. There is a reason why the price is so cheap, 1st they failed to process my order for several days, I even called my bank to clear the purchase. Then after their 3 day delivery turned into 7 to 10 days. After asking for a tracking number for a full week only to find out the hardware I ordered is not even being built. This was absolutely the most horrible experience I have ever had with a customer service experience and online ordering in general. First off, DO NOT USE PCNATION. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. I ordered a 40" Samsung smart TV that was on sale. I originally wanted to order it from best buy but they were out of stock for that sale price. The site was "certified by Google Shopping" so that was promising. The site was pretty user friendly and I did not have any issues setting up my account. After my order was placed I received an email with a tracking number 2 days later. Now, before I ordered my product I read many reviews and was definitely a little nervous since there were some negative ones. But, there were positive reviews too. When I got my tracking number I clicked the link and the shipping company website (cant remember if it was FedEx or UPS) said that it was a non existent tracking number. Red Flag NUMBER ONE. I immediately called customer service with PC Nation and spoke with a guy named Tyler. He was nice but clueless. Anytime I would try to ask him directly about what was going on with my order he wouldn't give me a straight answer. Finally, he put me on hold. When he got back on the line he told me that the reason my tracking number was incorrect is because they don't use Fed Ex or UPS. He directed me to a website and shipping company called Omni Logistics. RED FLAG NUMBER TWO. This Omni Logistics shipping company has a website but that's it. I couldn't find any reviews or anything about them. Sure enough, when I searched my tracking number on their site it did come up. That was a tad reassuring. So PCnation said on their site that with my order I would receive free 3 day shipping. I didn't have to pay for tax or shipping on my TV which I though was odd but I wasn't going to question it. The three day shipping thing is a total joke. And Omni Logisitcs is an even bigger JOKE for a company. There were two men in a sketchy rental pickup truck thing who were delivering my tv. Before they got to my house they called me and said they couldn't find the place. I at first tried to talk them through where they were to see if i could help them find my place. These two men were the most obnoxious, rude, incompetent idiots I have ever had to talk to in my life. They kept interrupting me and being SARCASTIC with me and it was really starting to piss me off. They kept making comments like: I would ask them what color the house was they were at, their response "Um well its obviously dark outside so we cant see the house". More comments made by them: "OK well I don't know what to tell you but we are gonna run out of gas so we are going to have to go back" Their tone was so unacceptable and the fact that anytime I was trying to help them with directions and whatnot they just kept talking over me so I eventually raised my voice and told them to stop with the attitude and stop being sarcastic. Eventually they found my house and I got the TV. At this point I just wanted this experience to be over with because I was so sick of dealing with PCNATION and their pathetic excuse for a shipping company. The TV works and is fine (surprisingly), but after this whole experience I will never be ordering from PCNATION ever again. And I will make sure to tell anyone who I know that does online shopping to avoid PCNATION AT ALL COSTS. read more

Worst electronic store ever, rude customer service ! One star is really too much for them.

I ordered a 7 port USB 3 hub on the Sunday after Thanksgiving at which time they did NOT say new customers needed verification. That, they told me in an email om Monday morning. I called back promptly and was told the order would go out that day. It did not, nor would they upgrade to next day air at their expense when I called Tuesday. read more

I recently placed an order with them, but after reading the so-so reviews here and elsewhere, I thought I'd have a back up order plan in case the item I ordered didn't work out. I initially confirmed the item "in stock" after chatting with one of their customer reps, but after emailing for the tracking information the next day, I was emailed back that the item was out of stock and they weren't getting any more. I really wasn't surprised after reading the reviews here, but I sure would have been angry if I hadn't of been prepared. So, I immediately place the same order with a different firm that definitely had stock. I don't think I'd use PCNation again. read more

Hello, I just bought the ZD410 but I needed the bluetooth version. I tried to make the exchange for the correct one. The customer service lady passed me to Chris. Chris explain to me that there is some kind of devolution fee since now the item is used because I opened. I told him that the product was in perfect condition but he explained how they can loose money if the manufacturer did not grant the return. After his explanation that in some point I can understand it then in a challenging tone he told me that even with the return fee they are the cheapest company around. Then when I was going to speak again he told me he wasn't going to kept talking to me and cut me just like that. After his lack of respect I had to end the conversation. I understand that is very difficult to compete against Amazon or other sites like this but I have to remind that at the end of the day there is a lot of business that losses customers not for pricing reasons, they lose customers because they have people like Chris working for them in the wrong departments. I was going to tell him that most of the time, price does not matter to us customers. There are costumers that simply prefer good service. I was going to buy again the correct product with your company and pay whatever fee but thanks to Chris I prefer to pay any price elsewhere. Bait & switch and Fraudulent advertising seems the norm with PCNation. This is a warning - - -BUYER BEWARE ! ! ! ! After doing extensive research on the type of color laser printer I then went online to find a company that I could purchase the printer. PCNation offers the OKI 831DN printer and shows the printer with the additional paper drawer for $1399.00. The printer arrived without the additional paper drawer even after I had asked and confirmed that the price included the paper drawer three times before it was shipped. They claim that there is an error on their website and the drawer is not included for that price. Their offer is for me to return the printer or pay an additional cost for the drawer that they advertise on their website as included with the printer. It's interesting that since they claim that the information on their website is an error it still has not been change so that the next sucker can go through the same deceptive practice. read more

So, I'm searching the internet for some hot "cyber Monday" deals when I come across PC Nation. I take the tour through their web site. It looks nice nice variety good pricing. After some comparisons of both price and features, I find what I deem to be the best deal for a gift for my Girlfriend. a nice little laptop same brand as the the one I use and love, so I begin the purchase process, which these days should be simple add to cart give CC information a ship to address and Phone number/ Right? NO WRONG first I have to sign up for an account. Eh a bother , but no big deal. Ok now I have to verify my account well alright a little extra security should be ok yes? nope the verification process does not work, but they take my credit card info and shipping info anyway so I assume my order is acceted and on its way to my sweetheart.nope wrong again I get a call AT WORK the next day they are still trying to verify my account so I tell them well you have my phone number correct since you just called me and I confirm my email to them and tell them I have never gotten a verification notice yet. so then they start fishing for more information like my work email. I tell them its not a work related purchase and therefore I will not provide my work email. They fish for other information and I tell them I am supposed to be working so could not talk at this time. The person on the phone tells me they will call back a few hours later. NOPE they call me at work again the next day. I tell them they have all the infomation they need to finish and deliver my purchase and then the story changes to "oh well we are sorry .but the model you chose has factory defects and we can't fullfill your order) by now Cyber Monday is long gone and now they refuse to fulfill my order for an Advertised item they offered no substitute or rain check just nope to bad charlie you picked the wrong one. it was the first time I tried to do business with them and it will be my last. I do not recommend this store as it seems to me the only thing that happened was they took my credit card information and personal information for who knows what reason. shame on them. read more
