You cannot reserve a seat, it's first come first serve. However I will say this theatre is never too busy and we have always found a great seat. You can buy your tickets in advance online or in person at concessions. They also have a rewards program with all purchases. Ticket prices are pretty standard but they do have really great specials, such as $5 tickets on Tuesday's. The concessions are similar to any other theatre. One thing that makes this theatre stand out is the nice seasoning station including nacho cheese, white cheddar and kettle corn. Comfort wise the theatres are very classically decorated with velvet walls. I feel it models a more old fashion look which is charming. The seats do not recline but they are comfortable. Apparently in the future they are having recliner chairs installed. That's very exciting. Overall we really like this theater and despite living in Cocoa and having a little drive, we really enjoy coming here. Can't wait for our next family movie.

You're still gonna be paying more than normal because it is a movie theater, of course, but they offer a full coffee bar, as well as some delicious food. Not restaurant but more like chicken tenders and fries for a pretty approachable price. We've never had an issue with buying our tickets, ahead of time, or buying them there. They do not conduct seat reservations, but instead, you buy a ticket and go find a seat yourself once inside the theater. It's never too busy where it's inconvenient even when coming at prime time unless you're coming for a major event. They also can host events here on the second floor.

Gorgeous oceanside location with bus shuttles and parking was available across the street for twenty dollars. We went with the $20 option which was without a doubt well worth it. The festival was packed with people of all ages & it was lovely seeing so many people spending the day outdoors with their precious fur babies. Several food vendors were on hand selling crabcakes, gyros, lobster rolls, souvlaki, stir fry, frozen lemonade, fresh squeezed lemonade, and so much more. We had lunch before we came so I didn't try any of the food. The smell of freshly popped popcorn was tempting but I wasn't hungry. The artists set up tents, gallery style with special lighting to showcase their work. Jewelry, sculpture, woodwork, paintings, large unusual mailboxes, fine delicate silk tops; it was all here plus so much more. Coming here wasn't planned but once I found out about it I was excited to go, although I do wish I had my sneakers on. I had a good time and enjoyed some sunny Florida weather for a change. This is an annual event and I hope to return next year, in my sneakers of course.

It was supposed to be a cloudy hot day on this wonderful Sunday in Juno Beach. I had read from one…read moreof my Yelp friends that there was a Juno ArtFest by the ocean on A1A. From what I read, there are about three hundred national and international artists showcasing art of all kinds. As we drove close to the ArtFest, we noticed that there was preferred parking for twenty dollars. I of course was not going to have any of that. So I found a close by hideaway and parked for free with others that had the same idea. The good news was that my car was still there when I returned three hours later. It was a free pet friendly experience with many diverse art items on display such as sculpture, jewelry, woodwork, paintings, wearable art, live plants, along with delicious fast food and drinks. It was sweaty blast and somehow we found a way to once again purchase numerous creative artistic pictures & sculptures that we will wonder why we bought a month later. Well, we will probably give them as gifts to our kids which they will probably re-gift them eventually to somebody else. Overall it was a great way to spend a wonderful beautiful Sunday in Juno Beach.

It's located in Downtown Jensen Beach and they close of the main street, and one street over so vendors can set up shop along main street, and the rides and stages etc are one block over. We walked down mainstreet and perused the vendors which were selling a wide range of interesting art, some clothing, jewelry, and some food as well. The carnivalish street has lots of activities for kids, and some more food and drink options as well. The stage is set up in a parking lot with some seats and room to dance. I thought it was well laid out and looked fun. I wasn't particularly wowed by Pineapple festival, but we don't have kids and besides the restaurants that we know and enjoy on the perimeter there isn't much for us after wandering the vendor lined main street. However we'll most likely be back next year to support the community.

There was a great variety of fair food, however I was expecting pineapple flavored things and fresh pineapples for sale and that was not the case. Hopefully next year. We went on few admission day and it was nice weather therefore we enjoyed the short walk but I would have been upset if I had paid to get in. Parking is awful.... there isn't any.

This was the second year I attended the Juno Beach craft festival. It's a draw because it's free to…read moreget in and there are plenty of places to park if the lot is full (nearby businesses that are closed on Sunday). You are not overwhelmed with vendors. There are many tents, but not too many which makes it easy for you to spend a few minutes at each perusing and chatting with the each vendor getting to know their expertise. One of my favorite stops each year is the Sunshiners tent where you can find handmade outdoor objects that project glass sparkles all over your yard (or house if you place it indoors). They are made from glass and copper! I also love that they have a few food vendors so you can eat while you shop! Kettle corn, arepas, beignets and freshly squeezed lemonade to name a few. It's also right near the beach and a park with pavilions so if you come with kids, either is a great segway from this event. I will be back each year this wonderful event takes place!

They had different lots set up with free trolleys which ended up being very quick and easy. When we got there, I was struck by the size. I really didn't expect it to be as large as it was. They had a kids area, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, and of course seafood. Fried clams, fish and chips, ceviche, seared tuna, grilled mahi mahi, oysters, calmari, you name it. The only thing I didn't like was that you had to buy tickets. Most items ranged from four to seven tickets, including alcohol. The portion sizes on most items were pretty good. If you simply went to sample everything, you would paying a lot, though. I kind of wish they would offer a smallish sample sized portions for less tickets. For non seafood people, they had hamburger and hot dog options, as well as the regular fair food like funnel cakes and ice cream. It started to become pretty crowded as we were leaving, so I would suggest to go early. We had a great time, and it was definitely worth driving out of our way for.

Festival season is in full swing in Florida and this past weekend was the 23rd year of the annual…read morecraft festival in Stuart which is held over two days from 10 AM until 5 PM in historic downtown Stuart. The street is shut down so crafters and artists can sell their wares. Admission to the festival is free. There were many tents selling clothes, jewelry, art, ceramics, food, plants, accessories, and so much more. You can also shop and dine at all of the businesses lining the street and there was live music by the water. Parking was free and a breeze and Kiwanis Park. There are also many other free lots in the downtown area. Stuart is one of my favorite cities because it is so quaint and picturesque. They were the perfect hosts for a such a family friendly festival.

The beautiful wife and I had made plans to go down to Daytona Beach months ago, but through some…read morerandom act of wonderfulness, we discovered that the 2nd Annual Halifax Oyster Festival would be happening while we were there. Bingo! Let's get the "feel good" stuff out of the way -- the festival is the product of the Oyster Reef Restoration Society, with the funds going toward the restoration of oyster beds in the Halifax River. Great cause. Now, let's focus on why everybody showed up -- the oysters. The Festival featured both Apalachicola and Oak Hill oysters, $3 for a half dozen, $5 for a dozen, $20 for a bucket (shuck it yourself, they give you a knife and everything). They also offer them raw or steamed. A majority of the population seemed to want steamed, which caused huge backlogs (I heard about people waiting an hour for a dozen). Because you have these slips that show what you order, when the people ask the crowd "who has raw" you end up waving it around and scream "I need two!" like you were trying to put Valentine and Winthorpe out of business. So, in short, buck up and eat 'em raw. So what goes great with oysters? Beer. And yes, there was beer, including $5 commemorative (plastic) 22 oz. mugs that were $5 with $3 refills. Now admittedly, your options were Bud, Bud Light, Landshark, and Woodchuck, but at other festivals, it would have been $8 with $5 refills or something stupid. The official hours were 10am-6pm. We got there at around 11 and it was already pretty crowded, but things moved along pretty quickly. We took off for a bit, then returned around 3:00-3:30 and it was insane. The lines were pretty long and moving really slow (due to the majority wanting steamed). Per comments I saw on Facebook, they apparently ran out of oysters around 4:00 (they went through 20,000!). It's hard to be bitter about the logistics -- it's all volunteers, it's cheap, and it's for a great cause. That said, I hope they iron out some of the problems for next year. Regardless, it will be really tempting to come back.

This was my second annual trip to the Oysterfest and it just seems that it's getting better every…read moreyear. If you are a fan of oysters you will find them here in great abundance in Raw, Roasted, Steamed or Oyster Rockefeller versions. If you are not an oyster aficionado, there are plenty of other food options provided by several local restaurants and vendors scattered throughout the landscape of Manatee Island Park in Daytona. Incidentally, your $6 admission fee comes with a $5 discount card which is good at any of the off-island sponsor restaurants listed on the back of the card. Starting at 11:00 AM you will be treated to continuous music from several live bands all day until the event closes late in the afternoon and there is no shortage of affordable beer (22 0z. mugs for $5 with refills for $3) and other beverages offered up by several tap stations scattered throughout the park. This year there were oysters supplied from both Apalachicola and local sources and yes, there is a discernible difference between the two. The Apalachicola oysters are mild and have great flavor but I prefer the local Mosquito Lagoon oysters which are also very good but have a noticeably higher salt content. The festival is put on by the Oyster Reef Restoration Society, with the funds going toward the restoration of oyster beds in the Halifax River. It's an outstanding cause and I applaud their effort towards more local oysters. Parking can be a bit of a hassle unless you arrive early in the day but another option is to take your boat and pull up to the dock on the East side of the Island. Smaller boats can also moor up in the shallows North of the dock. Hope to see Y'all there next year.
