Prices, location and atmosphere. While eating at Hemingway's Tavern, we decide to checkout this movie theater. After walking inside we chose to watch Godzilla x Kong here. The movie has an old movie theater vibe, not in a bad way. Super cute. Comfortable seats. Great selection of snacks, drinks, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. Restrooms were clean, personnel very customers oriented. My family enjoyed watching a movie here.

I have been here a few times, always a nice experience. This theater has the old school classical look that l absolutely love. Today l saw Fly me to the moon. Great movie l highly recommend it. The movie ptemiered July 12th. Its very clean with comfortable seating. I believe it is family owned and has been around for a while. The location has a lot of trees with Spanish moss hanging all over them, which l love a nd plenty of shade is provided. There are a few restaurants, ice cream shop, a beautiful venue party space, very nice outdoor seating available. Excellent choice for a date night. Definitely a great place for family time, a gils night out, or me time. Not a venue to sleep on.

As you pull into the parking lot you can tell the theater and surrounding restaurants has a euphoric ambience to it. As you step through the front doors it has a nostalgic feel to it and you are greeted by an "old school" concept, staff not kiosks. Grab your concessions and head to 1 of the 10 theaters, but not without someone actually checking your ticket! Say what, accountability.....This place has it all. Old time feel with new school movies. So grab your family and head over. Check out the pic inside the theater, Ahhhhmazing!

Plenty of parking. Reasonable prices. Well staffed. Quick process for tickets & snacks. Courteous & friendly employees. Clean concession & theater. Comfy & roomy seats. Employees were masked. Only negative, we got the refillable popcorn & both times the popcorn was barely warm. Fresh popped popcorn would've been nice. But we'll be back, nice theater.

This is a stunning cinema. The staff is friendly, the seats are comfortable, and there is a large selection of foods. It's always a great experience here. Great atmosphere!

The Oaks theater is a great place, my wife and I go to the movies once a week on average. The Oaks was our first choice when we moved to the area. The theater is spotless and they have the best buttered popcorn we have ever had. The staff is very friendly and they have all the current movies, also they have a cool feature called Flash Back Cinema. They play older classic movies two days a week. Nothing like seeing a movie on the big screen. One of our favorite's is Goodfellas, although we have seen the movie several times on TV seeing it on the big screen made for a great movie experience. This movie is privately owned, we also try to support local business. Going to the movies well go to the Oaks you will not be disappointed.

I went to see Aquaman with family while visiting for the holidays and was impressed by this beautiful old fashion independent theater. I am unaware of the history of this theater (had it been an AMC at one point and at some point lost the franchise? When was it built?) Honestly though, it was just so refreshing to be in a sweet, beautiful older theater with old school pricing (just $6.95 for a movie!) to match! The outside of the theater is elaborate and beautiful, as are the individual theaters. The concession is also the ticket line which I could see getting a bit crazy, but you can buy online and avoid it if you wanted. (I do think it's quite a genius move though!) Bathrooms were clean and beautiful for a movie theater as well. Going to Aquaman I expected a standard Regal or AMC experience, and was truly impressed to find this true gem of a theater. If I lived in the area I would definitely see all my movies here, especially since they replay classics there every couple of a weeks! I highly recommend this theater- you will not be disappointed!

This is the size of the screen. Reminds me of the old theaters.

Went to see Avatar The Way of The Water. This is a very nice theater. The screen was enormous. Sound system was excellent. The only bad thing is if you have your tickets there is a separate line with popcorn and such problem is until you get into that line. You don't know it.I will definitely go back to this theater.

    great place

A great movie theater, not part of a chain but family owned. We always support locally owned businesses. Playing all the current movies, a good selection of showing times always available. The staff at the concession stand is so friendly, each week when we go to the movies it is like seeing old friends. What a great theater with good stadium seating and a good sound system. No theater could reach great status without fresh popcorn. They make fresh popcorn that is wonderful. The butter popcorn is the best and it is not overly salted. There are many movie theaters in our area, but this is the only one we frequent. Clean, good seating, good sound system always a good selection of movies and most importantly a good smiling staff.

The concession stand with their "state of the art" television menus. Simba and "Turn Down For What" are not impressed.

Around the Melbourne, Florida area, there are four major cinemas the people will attend to watch the latest movies at the box office. The oldest one that has continuously remained open is the Premier Theaters. Originally known as the Cobb Oaks Theater in which it was one of three Cobb Theaters within the area, with the others being Roxy and Palm Bay 10, it has survived the test of time. Ergo, for old patrons like me, there is a bit of nostalgia yet for newer patrons, it is able to keep up with the fandango of new technology. For starters, Premier Theaters is located in a shopping plaza on Hibiscus Boulevard, just north of Melbourne Square Mall. It is the primary business in it as it features an underpass. Upon entering, you'll see the regular lines to the left which lead to the concession stand and the self-checkout on the right. Take note the concessions have upgraged to include smoothies, iced coffees, and ice cream dots. However, the price still remains high. There are 10 threaters total with the two in the back dedicated as the grand theaters which may or may not air in 3D. The staff are usually friendly and the theaters are often clean. Of course after a showing in a packed theater, I don't expect the place to be clean automatically. People seem to treat theaters like utter crap. Ultimately, I will give this theater four out of five stars for nostalgic reasons. It surely does not compare to the newer theaters, especially the ones in Hammock Landing and The Avenue Viera, but the price along with everything they do have makes it more than decent.

So while going to Beall's with the kids, I smelled popcorn and decided to see if the theater was finally open and it was AND they had Lego Movie 2 starting in 10 mins. The staff was very friendly. All tickets are $5. My son was young enough to get in free. All theaters have different ages so I stopped asking after he turned 2. They have movie posters for $2. The popcorn was good. I got the kids combo and their candy was airheads. I didn't get a good look at their concessions menu since my visit was impromptu and I was trying hurry. Check out their Facebook for specials and updates. They take customer feedback seriously, so be respectful and patient. I think because they are being transparent about how things work with getting films, customers tend to be understanding. They also said they are remodeling, so that may also give them a chance to have more theaters available for another film in the future. I look forward to what the owners have planned for this theater. I have been to theaters like this in another state and it stayed busy even with a brand new theater across the street. I hope they keep the building clean, the service top notch, and stay in this great community.

Overall, I would say it's more like a 3.5, but Yelp doesn't do halves. The location is convenient, the seating is usually enough to not miss a showtime, and that's about it. Some of the seating needs some maintenance, some screens have stains on them, the bathrooms can be messy, and I've experienced sound or video problems on more than one occasion. Their paid memberships make it worth going here. I get the overall state of affairs here though, with less people going to movies these days. You can see the COVID shift away from theaters everywhere you look - from the extra unmanned ticket booth and concession stands to the few AMC faces you see while you're in the building. I hope theaters survive. I love watching a movie from beginning-to-end with an audience who will simply watch the screen without a pause button to disengage them with every little distraction.

The lobby itself is huge and has a nice wall of posters next to the arcade which lends itself to great photo ops. Speaking of which there's even a Photo Booth like before. That was a nice touch. The theater staff was friendly and purposeful in their interactions. It came off as sincere and was a nice change of pace compared to every day life. The popcorn was fresh the theater was big the chairs were comfy and yes ofcourse I sprung for popcorn and a drink- how could you not. This is my go-to spot for movies and it will continue to be. Tip: I purchase my tickets through their app and as a rewards member there's a shortened line off to the left side where you have less of a wait. Depending on my schedule I'll even order my popcorn and drink so it's off to the right side for mobile order pickup. There's a receipt attached so that it's easy to identify.
