Definitely check your fields and park accordingly because that can be a unwanted long distance walk. Depending your spot will determine the restroom. The Junior stadium sounds fun but it has no close snack bar and has two porter potties. It was rough to be on that side. Parking is parking!!! Lol there's alot but also alot of us. Carpool if possible. Its basically get in where you fit even if its on grass islands. Lol There was parking across the street but did hear after you can't park there. Buy your entry beforehand and show to get in. Keep your bags compact to not get searched or request a medical cooler tag to take in extra stuff. There is plenty of food and snacks options. Drinks are at a reasonable price. Staff was friendly and continously cleaning the restrooms. I seen pop up booths for bats,gloves,posters, mini bobbleheads of your players. Kona ice, pineapple spot, Chinese food. The fields were well kept and can handle alot of rain so unless there's lightning games are on. They'll play til 2am to makeup any games affected by weather. We had about 5 lightning delays followed by buckets of rain. There's a lightning tracker and it will let you know when its safe to return. My son's baseball team had the privilege of playing a tournament here over the weekend. They were super excited and I'm sure felt like MLB superstars :-)! Stadium is lovely! It's nice and open and well kept. Although a bit of a drive from where I am, I'd totally be down to come back if the opportunity arises. read more

Underrated park. This isn't one of the massive new "mini MLB park' style spring training parks. It's nothing fancy and doesn't have that many shaded seats but you're close to the field and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The staff is VERY friendly and you can get some decent fried shrimp at this park. Plus, how can you go wrong with a vendor who yells "ICE COLD BEER!" at a volume you can clearly hear on TV? I'll be back here next spring if the Nats don't move. read more

I was very impressed by the space Coast Stadium. The space Coast Stadium is located actually in Vieira Florida even though the address says it's located in Melbourne. The space Coast Stadiums true home team is the Brevard manatees who are a minor-league affiliate baseball team. But every single year the Washington nationals use the space coast stadium as their spring training location. The reason that I come here to see you games are because I have an aunt uncle that live in the area and it's the closest stadium to watch the New York Mets when they play the Washington nationals. For spring training there is not a bad seat in the entire park. Tickets are cheap they start at seven dollars and they go up to $35 for right behind home plate. This is a great value because at Citi Field to sit down in the lower levels you're spending at least $150. Season tickets at the stadium go for five to $600 for a season. I could go to two games in the city and spend that. The atmosphere here is very nice there were a lot of New York fans at the game I was surprised. We sat right behind home plate. The one thing that you do want to take into consideration is it is a first come first serve ballpark. If you are the first person to buy tickets for a game in the section directly behind home plate. You will get the best seats. If you wait until the day of the game and they do have seats left behind home plate or in any section you will more than likely be sitting at the top end of the section and not down towards the front. It's first come first serve. But who really cares because the seats are really good and the most expensive seat $35 you cannot beat that. The staff here mainly consist of older retired people. I noticed that there was 4 to 5 sheriffs that were just kind of walking around the ballpark. I went to purchase a spring training T-shirt and the young guy that was working behind the counter had a really nice conversation with me he was making fun of me because I had a met shirt on and we had a good talk about baseball for a while. Overall I do recommend coming to see a game here. There really isn't a bad seat in the house if you do have kids I recommend bringing them here to experience a game. read more

I was in town and saw that spring training games were happening so I decided the check one out. The stadium is pretty easy to get to and has plenty of parking but they do charge you like $7 or something to park in the dirt. The stadium is nice and well maintained. They have plenty of food and drink options throughout. It was super hot so it would have been nice to have more shaded seats. Lucky for me the game was not packed so I was able to move over to a shady area. This was surprising since the home team Nationals were playing Miami. read more

Went here for a spring training game - Nats vs Tigers. The stadium was easy to find with excellent directions on the website. It was a Monday afternoon and the place was fairly full. We could only get bleacher seats. The best part of seating in the bleachers was the price $12. We sat along the third base line and had multiple chances to get a fowl ball but just lost out each time. My husband enjoyed the world of beers venue. Had a great Kona koko brown ale. read more

Ahh, Spring Training! Baseball in its purest form. I'd take spring training games over regular season games any day of the year. When I was moving to San Francisco in 2004, I saw a game here with my buddy Keith -- the Montreal Expos (in their last year before moving to Washington DC & changing their name to the Nationals) vs. the Detroit Tigers -- & caught a foul ball which I still keep in my car as a momento of the trip. So, I'm actually not familiar with sports at all, unlike the other reviewers of Space Coast Stadium... I ended up here because I was attending a huge community event that was utilizing the space as a venue. I have seen my fair share of stadiums, though, and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and efficient Space Coast Stadium actually was. The whole venue is impeccably clean, spacious, and actually aesthetically pleasing, with little homages to the Space Coast (like a shuttle, and such) here and there. Parking was also really easy to do, and the stadium is very navigable, even for little kids. None of the food stands were very vegetarian-friendly, so I didn't get to try those, but I wasn't really there for the food, I guess. Overall, good job, Space Coast Stadium. If only more people were exposed to you, people would see that Brevard County can actually do nice things... read more

Have to admit, it's really nice to have a big league ballpark literally in your back yard. Too bad those pansy Nats are moving away in 2017. The park is a little dated. It needs a re-do, but that ain't gonna happen. Half the seats are covered/blocked during minor league season because of low attendance. And there are very few covered areas that will shield you from the sun or from rain. And it gets HOT. Some idiot decided to build this place facing due south. In Florida. In the summer. Duh. Same old high beer and concession prices as any other ballpark. Enjoy it during Spring 2017 for the last time - because after that, the fat lady will sing :( read more

I went here for spring training. The Braves vs. Nats. The parking situation is as described a large grassy/dirty (muddy after the rain) lot. Once inside the stadium our seats were in section 218. This section provides shade as well as an overhead lip which will shelter you from the rain. It is an older park but worth the trip if you're in the area. They keep the grounds very clean. Food is expensive but that's to be expected at a ball park these days. The only disappointing thing is that the stadium doesn't show the pitch speed on the scoreboard. So the park is nice and very cheap to get into ($8?). I took my family of five and thought we would be having a fun and inexpensive night at the ballpark. Well, we would have if we would have eaten first. I was very disappointed at the price of the concessions. They are the same prices as the MLB parks! Beers are $8-$9 and a bag of popcorn is $5!!! seriously. we ended up spending over $50 for a couple hot dogs, and some burgers. 2016 is the last year for this stadium to host the Washington Nationals. They are moving south to Palm Beach for the 2017 spring training / Grapefruit League baseball games. Too bad as this is not a bad stadium but kinda in the middle of nowhere so I guess that makes sense. Friendly staff and multiple food options here. read more

Single A ballpark that shines. Too bad the Washington Nationals left..they had a community that supported them (led the league in FLA attendance). A great economical way to spend the day or evening. Food and drink prices are reasonable and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Traffic for National games got pretty hectic but for Manatee games its negligible. read more
