WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. The front desk associate, "Matt", was incredibly rude, arrogant, and condescending. His behavior was so off-putting that we almost left. He literally threw the wristbands at us and was very confrontational. It was clear he either hates his job or feels untouchable. Ironically, the young girl renting out skates showed more professionalism and kindness than the fully grown man at the reception desk. When I asked to speak to a manager, he laughed and tossed me a card for someone who runs the hockey team instead. This experience was completely unacceptable. I will be following up directly with the general manager, Rich, via email and phone. read more

I tried the try it free class with my 4 and (newly) 6 year old to establish a love of ice skating. It was both of their first times ever on the ice. Unfortunately, they put my daughter in a group with 7 and 8 year olds and they repeatedly left her flailing trying to get up on her own as they sped way ahead. The coach was inattentive and hardly helped her even though it was clear she couldn't keep up. Ended in tears and I'll be lucky if she wants to step foot on the ice any time in the near future. Meanwhile, my son was in a group just him and a 6 year old. They need a better understanding of dividing ages and skill levels because you creating the future relationship they have with skating. This is a single sheet ice rink with an equipment shop, snack bar and a small bar. Rink lighting was dark. The ladies restrooms had stalls that were missing locks. We did make purchases at the bar and snack bar during our visit, and the staff was nice. Overall, it looks like they're overdue for TLC and maintenance everywhere. read more

I briefly drove from Daytona Beach to Rockledge for their Sunday morning pickup. It was a decent skate with some good guys. But I never really bonded too much with this rink. Not their fault. I'm just glad to see hockey being played anywhere and everywhere. read more

Great rink , great coaches . There are some different programs and things to try . I love the public skate you can try skating for the first time or get some practice , and you can skate at a freestyle session if you are at that level . I purchased a gift certificate for my grandson's birthday. The young lady was very helpful and polite.

My first time ice skating wounded up being here at this location. And I was completely terrified I thought the concept to be similar to roller skating, just on a thin blade. Similar movements but drastically different in my opinion. I was clinging to the wall my whole first round there, but a wonderful employee(wish I got her name!) walked along the side and gave me some advice that made me confident enough to actually try it out! All the employees I had an interaction with were so kind and very informative! And for a first timer they really made me feel welcome. Even some of the other guests gave advice to me:) would certainly go back again soon. read more

This ice rink has the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a rink. As someone who spent hundreds of dollars on public sessions and freestyles (I am an adult competitive skater) at this place, you would expect courtesy and respect when being communicated with. I was kicked out of an ice show at this rink for "missing a payment deadline" when I had email proof that I had paid. I was also accused of trying to steal ice time once when I forgot to sign in ONE time, even though I had prepaid for a bundle of freestyles and was in the system. There was no humility, no understanding of my honest mistake or the fact that I was prepaid. I also had a friend come skate with me and get accused of coaching on a session when he was not coaching and he was BANNED from the rink. There are literally posters of him in the front office warning people to report him if he shows up. TERRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. I will never go back. I even have prepaid freestyles sitting there. So honestly they owe me money. But it's so bad I would rather lose the money than return. read more

We went during the Sat night public skate. The rental skates were in rough shape...I had a pretty nasty bruise on my foot after an hour of skating. The crowd is mostly tweens...with an over the top police presence out front. There's a couple employees monitoring the crowd on the ice so I'm not exactly sure why police officers needed to be there at all... The parking lot was essentially blocked with parents who were apparently too lazy to actually use parking spots and decided to sit in the middle of the road. There's a small bar inside with cheap beers and average snacks/food. There really isn't an alternative to compare this place to but it's a pretty good night out for the money ($10 for 2 hrs of skating). I'd go def back, but I might check out prices for my own skates to bring with me. read more

I started figure skating lessons a couple weeks ago at age 16 and was very nervous, as most people start very young, like 4 or 5. However, staff was very courteous and made me feel very welcome. I will be continuing lessons for the foreseeable future and highly suggest coming here, all the coaches are so nice and helpful! read more

We came to this rink because we had references from friends and the website states it takes covid measures such as requiring masks. We drove over 40 mins to visit, but came to find at least 50% of the people in there were not wearing masks. It was packed as well. No employees would regulate mask usage in the lobby or on the ice even though there were multiple signs. Almost no children had masks either. There was no regulation of traffic for covid either so groups of people with no social distancing or masks were always at the entrance of the rink. There were employees on the ice that could have regulated this but did not. Don't go here until covid is over. read more

Great place to hang out with friends, and relatively cheap for how much skating I can do! (14$ including skate rental). I picked up classes with my older brother and I are doing pretty well! My only complaint is that there are no beginner classes for teens/tween, so you either get lumped in with little kids or the adult class. read more

This is not the rink to be a serious skater. There are always lots of people fooling around and being disrespectful to those practicing. The ice is never fully packed and scratches far too easily. Even if they run the Zamboni right before you go on, it is rough in 15 minutes. Roofs seem too run down and not attractive to look at. I hate that this is the only place to ice skate in the area. If they ever serviced their rental skates they would have more business. Every time I go, the blades are completely dull. This makes it impossible to skate. Every beginner there is floundering around because their skates are so dull. These kids will never return. All of the staff were in their 20s so it goes without saying that these millennials were rude and lazy. They don't even know they are being rude and lazy so don't blame them. Furthermore, they never cut the ice. I had a better surface skating down the creek when I was a kid up North. So if you don't mind crappy skates, rough ice, and rude service this is the place for you. read more

Great value. My 7-year-old daughter loves to go here for public skating. They even have those "walkers" for kids (or adults) who are beginners. Dress warm though, and don't forget gloves, because it is extremely cold! read more

Great place to enjoy a 90 degree day. Staff was very friendly and the facility is maintained very well.

They neeed to zamboni the ice more and the rental skates are horrible they gave me blisters and the food there beware since it is disgusting and has had multiple health codes.... Many teens here but it is still a good place to ice skate if you bring your own skates and don't mind the bumpy ice ( it is horrible to practice anything on ) read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE Space Coast Ice Plex. Our kids play hockey after watching last years Olympics. We've been to several other ice rinks that have been so substandard compared to this one. Employees are friendly and remember you. They even have a program where they let your kids try hockey for a few months and they provide all the gear so your not out hundreds of dollars if they end up not liking it. We go there at least once or twice a week now!!! read more
