This is an awesome theatre, one of the best I have ever been to. The IMAX screen is so clear and sharp! They can even display HFR movies, they look so bright and sharp! The sound here is loud but doesn't seem to have too much bass. I like how the server room is right where everyone can see it. I really hope this theatre gets bigger. The price is pretty darn high, but for the best picture and sound quality in Brevard, it's kind of worth it.

The frontside entrance of AMC Melbourne. Not hard to miss as it is the only theater in Hammock Landing!

For the Melbourne/Palm Bay area, AMC West Melbourne 12 stands out as one with the highest prestige simply from what they offer. With said prestige, it comes with a price, which is something the average income base Melbourne/Palm Bay citizens may not be willing to pay. Despite that, it is still the best theater in the area if you are looking for a high-end experience. AMC West Melbourne 12 (which I will shorthand to "AMC Melbourne" for the remainder of the review) is located in Hammock Landing, the outdoor shopping center located on the west side of the Palm Bay Rd. exit for I-95. It is on the east side of Norfolk, the same side Target, Ross, Buffalo Wild Wings, Culver's, and Pollo Tropical are too. The theater has its own private parking lot. Depending when you go to watch a movie, you'll have plenty of room or you'll have to park in the middle. I have yet to truly see it fully packed with the exception of its opening month. Ticket prices depend on the show too but they are higher than the average. Same goes for the food too. Where AMC Melbourne stands out is what you get. For starters, the food choices go beyond popcorn, sodas, and nachos. They do serve those but they also have unique meals like flatbreads and chicken and waffles. They also serve wine and beer. All the theaters have comfortable wide seating which is far more comfortable than other theaters. They also have Real3D viewsings of movies. Where they stand out differently is the IMAX experience, one that I really like depending on the movie. So far, Ihave watched "The Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Doctor Strange," and "Ready Player One." in IMAX 3D and "Coco" in IMAX 2D. They are worth it if you have the coin. Finally since AMC Melbourne is an AMC theater now (previously Carmike), it is now eligible for the AMC Stubz program in which you get free tickets, food, and other prizes. Ultimately, I will not say this is the theater everyone must go to. Where it does fail is economy. If all you want to do is watch a movie in 2D and don't care about other luxuries, why pay $6 for a morning show when you can pay $4 elsewhere? Still, if you want the full experience, no theater in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area lives up to the hype (will update if the new theater on Malabar Rd. does any better).

This theater is dirty from lobby to rest rooms and in theater. I drive further away to avoid watching a movie playing at this business

You cannot reserve a seat, it's first come first serve. However I will say this theatre is never too busy and we have always found a great seat. You can buy your tickets in advance online or in person at concessions. They also have a rewards program with all purchases. Ticket prices are pretty standard but they do have really great specials, such as $5 tickets on Tuesday's. The concessions are similar to any other theatre. One thing that makes this theatre stand out is the nice seasoning station including nacho cheese, white cheddar and kettle corn. Comfort wise the theatres are very classically decorated with velvet walls. I feel it models a more old fashion look which is charming. The seats do not recline but they are comfortable. Apparently in the future they are having recliner chairs installed. That's very exciting. Overall we really like this theater and despite living in Cocoa and having a little drive, we really enjoy coming here. Can't wait for our next family movie.

With a location right next to an ice cream store, an Italian restaurant, and of course, Hemingway's, their prices are very fair here. You're still gonna be paying more than normal because it is a movie theater, of course, but they offer a full coffee bar, as well as some delicious food. Not restaurant but more like chicken tenders and fries for a pretty approachable price. We've never had an issue with buying our tickets, ahead of time, or buying them there. They do not conduct seat reservations, but instead, you buy a ticket and go find a seat yourself once inside the theater. It's never too busy where it's inconvenient even when coming at prime time unless you're coming for a major event. They also can host events here on the second floor.

Every day of the week they have a different separate drink menu for the specialties of that day. I love the Wednesday bourbon. The vibe inside is so amazing and Homie and it is pretty intimate though. So keep in mind if you have large parties like I went once with around six people it is hard for everyone to sit together. So I would definitely recommend coming on more weekday evenings when it's not as busy otherwise you will be having to wait in a line outside unfortunately. The capacity seems to be roughly around 30 people after talking with the bartenders. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable. The off menu drinks that they could come up with ended up being some of my absolute favorites. I had the bartender at one point make me three surprise me drinks for whatever they felt like they could make. And every single one was so amazing I ended up passing it around to the rest of the group for everyone to try. Keep in mind, the drinks are probably a little bit more on the expensive side, but you are paying for more of the experience. It is also important to note that there is a five dollar cover fee that will last for a full week to enter the place, or you can buy an annual membership for $40. If you buy the annual membership, they do type out a membership library card for you and laminate so it feels very official and it's very cool to be able to have in your wallet. In the true vibe of speakeasy, this is a hidden gem.

You find the secret book, pay the $5 membership fee listen to the slightly too long intro pitch and…read morethe book shelf opens, admitting you to the speakeasy. It was crowded. It was elegant. The cocktails were exceptional. I asked for classic cocktails that weren't in the menu. They delivered. Love the place. Why Four stars? Service was three bears. The waiter with the blonde mop of hair is very nice but inexperienced. Too on top of customers when they arrive. He needs to give a menu and give a few minutes for guests to peruse it. The head bartender is brilliant. Talent without hospitality, though, is a craft cocktail fail. Kindness counts. The vibe was colder than the cocktails. I hope it improves on future visits. The blonde bartender in the grey dress was just right. Professional, attentive, and kind. This is easily a six star speak. When you are serving? You are "on." Be as excellent and calm of a person as you are outstanding at your craft.
