I have been a customer of PC ASAP at Frankford & Tollway since 01/2013 (5 years) and they have always been courteous and very quick to assess and repair any problem I experienced with my laptop. They are very good to offer guidance on what to do to prevent whatever issues your're experiencing in the future too. I appreciate their outstanding customer service skills and their brilliant staff technicians, always wanting to make sure their customer is happy with the final results. Their fees are reasonable and I have never been disappointed. I have always followed their advice and I have never regretted it. My 2010 MacBook was running super slowly, so I took it in to PC ASAP to get a solid state drive installed. I was originally planning to do it myself like the Apple store suggested, but after seeing that the process would be a lot more complicated than I was told, I figured it would be best to take my laptop to someone who knew what they were doing! David and Joe were both incredibly helpful and did an awesome job. They answered my voicemail quickly and called to keep me updated on the status of the installation. The only caveat I have is that my laptop was ready a day later than I was originally told, but it still only took three days. Way better than taking it to Fry's or something and waiting up to a month for it to be done! My laptop runs SO much faster now, it's ridiculous. They charged $180, which was actually a tiny bit cheaper than I was expecting. Would definitely recommend. Thanks, guys! read more

I am thankful for PC ASAP! They saved the day for me providing great service for my laptop. I can't thank PC ASAP enough!! From the moment I walked into the store, to explain how I spilled hot tea all over my laptop they were very attentive and explained in detailed the different issues that could cause a problem for my laptop. I am not an IT tech person, but the way everything was explained to me gave me knowledge and put me at ease. I thought my laptop was done.....and that I had to replace a lot of parts....I was lucky with my quick thinking to bring it into the store. I explained to PC ASAP that I need my laptop back by the same day due to having a teleconference and cant be without my laptop. I am always wary of repair shops because there are some that just want to take your money and find ways to charge you extra for services you might not even need. Steve is just the opposite: Honest, willing to help, and charging what's fair. He personally runs the shop (support local businesses!) and personally took care of me right away. My elderly dad knocked his laptop off his computer table and it wouldn't turn on. It was also refurbished and whoever put it back together made it almost impossible to take apart; what should have been a 5-minute job took Steve 45 minutes. He was patient, explained what he was finding, and ultimately told me it would cost more to repair it than to simply replace it. He didn't have to tell me that. But because he was fair, he will have my business again next time I need the services he provides. read more

Was my first visit and I did not know what to expect. My laptop had stopped working the previous evening and had shown a number to call at microsoft which I had. I did not trust the person I was talking to at that number.. He was sounding Indian but he was giving me an American name. I refused to pay and I decided to google a computer repair shop near me. When I came to this shop I got a lot of help. The manager diagnosed my laptop and it started working again almost immediately He also confirmed my suspicion about the number to microsoft. He did not charge me and I'm extremely grateful. I highly recommend this location to everyone out there. They will listen to you and will not rip you off. read more

This is the best experience I've ever had getting a new biz computer up and running. My old one was crashing and needed a new computer in the middle of a hectic work schedule. Not only did Kevin generously help me pick a new computer online (that saved me lots of $$$)...but he cloned my old computer onto it so I had it up and running by the afternoon. I have never had such an easy transition to a new biz computer. All I did was plug everything in and all my software and plugins were ready to go. If there were 10 stars, I'd give that. I purchased a laptop computer with a touchscreen a couple of years ago from a big box store. The screen lost resolution/color and I brought it back to the big box to get a quote for the repair. I didn't feel good about the price and timing (2 weeks) for the repair so I took it to PC ASAP and got a much lower (quote) for the labor. Joe completed the repair in half the time at a price significantly lower than the big box guys (who would have had to send it out of state). I'll definitely work with ASAP for any future computer issues. read more

if you have had a bad experience here perhaps you were just having a bad day cuz this place will do everything they can to give you the best experience in the market from mobile repair to bringing it in and if you tell steven or kevin the bad experience you did have they will do everything in there power to make up for it for you so give them the chance cuz i did and i was happier with there service and fix as my laptop was better then brand new with the upgrades they did to it read more

These guys are the absolute best. I've rated them on yelp for past computer repairs (always 5 out of 5), but have to give another shout out to them. The copies from my printer were coming out striated. I checked the ink, sent from alternate devices, tried different paper trays all to no avail. The printer manufacturer was going to have me jump through hoops to get help. I emailed a photo of my bad print job to PC ASAP, they called immediately and helped me to resolve my issue. read more

Took my computer in with what turned out to be a power source problem, and Joe and Andy did a great job diagnosing and fixing the problem. Subsequently brought the computer home and had what I thought was an audio problem and Joe patiently stepped me through how to fix that (speaker plugged into wrong jack - duh!). Fantastic experience! Had the on button break off on my laptop and could not turn it on. Went in and gave me a ballpark estimate of about $200 to replace it. Then he said "let me show you this". He took a small screw driver and showed me where to push to turn it back on. He did not have to do it but showed how me anyway. That was great. Will always use him because I trust him. read more

My computer was broken and geek squad / Best Buy told me it needed a new motherboard... I dropped it off at PC ICU and came back a few hrs later and everything was fixed, best service ever. Amazing customer service! My computer wouldn't restart at all. I thought I lost pictures and videos from 10 years ago. A lot of memories I thought were gone. Great service! They will always consult with you before doing anything that is in addition to the rate and give their honest opinion whether or not it is worth your money to do it.
